The store is always nice and clean. You could tell it is close to Thanksgiving. I few things seem to be out but I still found what I was looking for. I had a return item and it was handled by a very nice lady. It just took a few minutes. Check out was a breeze. I always leave happy with the good deals I find.

Nice Sam's Club, in a convenient location. Easy to get in/out of the parking lot and a quick jump on/off 81 and 581.We've never experienced an issue with parking (but we also only go midweek, early afternoon). Gas pumps can get backed up and unfortunately the traffic flows right through the parking lot (so keep that in mind if your parking near the pumps).Store is kept clean, as well as the bathrooms. We often find good deals by walking around and checking out what is new. We use it as a bit of a Treasure Hunt for the kiddo.

Very busy today. Not much room for the big buggies and all the shopper. They used to admit members plus one guest but I don’t guess that’s a policy now. I saw several groups of 4-5 shopping together. Plus, now they have a robot patrolling the store counting inventory?! Maybe should be picking up trash.Prices are up as expected, but still cheaper in bulk…

Typical Sam's club experience. It's nothing fancy and stuff comes and goes, but it's generally clean and well stocked. What makes this one stand out is really the pharmacy. Those folks are nice, AND knowledgeable. I really appreciate them.

Great store with family size (bulk) items. Friendly associates and also has a cafe that serves pizza and a drink for $2.50! And hot dog combo with drink for like $1.50! Oh and they have a berry sundae and brownie sundae that’s good too. And yes they have ATT but I’m for T-mobile ( on Colonial)so I’m partial about that. Nonetheless overall I likes this place!

Got my daughters cake made LOVED it! Was a big hit. I didn't see Bluey in the catalog at first and when I was explaining to the lady what I wanted and what them she was quick to show me they had Bluey it was just new in another book!! Made my day!! This is the 3rd cake and they haven't failed me yet!

I wanted to go inside to look around before buying a membership card. But they would not allow that. My question is, being that I live an hour away from Roanoke, how am I to know if it is worth the membership fee if I am not allowed look around. For me, that raises a big red flag. Additionally, to me, it almost feels like they are trying to leverage me into buy a membership.That is just my opinion, I could be wrong.

If you know your process, you can get some awesome bits on bulk items, but if you don't you can end up overpaying. It really depends on the product. Good seasonal items, love the pre packaged salads, bakery items, snacks, books, coffee, water, most paper products.

I've been a steady shopper at Sam's Club for decades in other states. Customer Service at the "Members Service" desk meant something there. Here, in Roanoke, apparently it means "Returns" and "Card Services" only. I needed assistance with a purchase on my Scan and Go - the app was requesting verification of my payment method - which for the two items I had would have been a 30 second transaction. There were two customer "Service" personnel leaning on the desk doing nothing when I walked over. I was instructed I had to go through the lines - which, at this time of day were well into the aisles long. I asked if they could help me and was told no. I've done this very thing at at least 4 other Sam's clubs over the years and in other states with the service personnel bending over backwards to help me with my purchase. Talked with the Manager after completing my purchase elsewhere and was quoted 'policy'. If a register can process a return or exchange, they can process a purchase. Again - apparently - "Member Services" does not mean they serve you - just that they'll process your return which is incredibly sad... Guess I'll be shopping elsewhere from here on...

Left our card on desk at home because had done some online shopping. Few days later, ended up in town with errands so decided to run into Sam's for things can only get in house. Oops, no card. Lovely Greeter said we could get temporary card. Saved the day. Everyone helpful. Now about to have hot dog and churro, lucky us. Great location.

We shop at Sam's for produce, nuts, frozen foods and more. Prices are good, store is good, and scan and go app is great. They're now stocking more and more plant-based alternatives and things like e-bikes, all of which we use to help the world a little. We also stop at the cafe on our way home from Roanoke often, since it's a cheap and tasty dinner (even cheaper if you buy a whole extra large pizza for $9, or what you might pay for a small elsewhere).

Bought a whole box mattress and because of the incompetence of your staff I couldn’t even get it out the store after the manager clearly saw it was paid for. I’m out two hours of my life because your ppl don’t know how to manage. I’ll never be back

I want to recognize the young lady in the food court today 7/19/2022 who made my brownie sundae. She used more care and attention to detail on my little plastic cup of frozen yogurt and brownie chunks than I have seen at sit down restaurants charging $6 -8 for essentially the same thing. Working with the public can be challenging, especially lately. I just wanted her to know someone appreciates her work.

Went in to get a prescription and had to grab one item. I had to wait in line for 10 minutes to get my receipt checked. Now they scan your items. It's impossible to get in and leave!Walmart family is trash and they only care about profit! They hire people outside and don't care about there actual employees. Put apps in other places! There's a place for you

Ate at the Danville Va store twice in one month. Last week 4/20/23 the food made me really sick again. Pizza tasted metallic and brownie in the ice cream was so hard, it never softened. Stomach has been hurting since then. Hot dog the week b4 was so salty it was inedible A definite case of you get what you pay for.☹️
