The most organized and clean grocery store I have been in. Everything was pulled forward and you could tell they take pride in their store. All the employees are friendly and was a great experience! Nice selection to choose from in every aisle

Came passing through and we wanted to see the store. It is nicely stocked and the aisles are spacious, however the prices are very costly. The hot food looked/smelled nice, the bathroom was somewhat eery and dirty, smelled very strange. But the biggest issue was the cashier demanded to know my mother’s age and called her a senior citizen (she is NOT one). She was rude and told us everyone has been sick. It made me concerned that everyone is sick and workers are telling us it. It made me question if the groceries we have purchased are contaminated.

I stopped at your store on SaturdayMarch the 2ndWent to the deli departmentTo order chicken They only have one piece up there and I ask the lady are you putting out more because I seen a big pan of fry chicken she said NO VERY HATEFUL she said this for a order and I ask what about your line here for your customer coming in she said its going to be awhile Very disappointed

So I stop in here when I’m passing through the area which is a couple times a month. Today I wasn’t very please. The ladies at the deli didn’t seem to want to help I waited over 5 mins for someone to come help me even after they saw me , once the lady came over I was greeted with “what u want” I asked for some of the spicy wing dings and received normal chicken wings and was given an eye roll from the lady , (maybe she was tired and ready to go home who knows.) The cashier was a very polite gentleman!

A total gem. Nice local farm fresh veggies and fruit. Good sales on meat and the butcher cuts are great. Store is clean and items well stocked. Also frozen local veggies and fruit available for purchase. The deli is truly a hidden gem. Those people know how to cook and the plates are southern home cooking at its best. Hot dogs are also good. Prices are reasonable. The only reason I didn't rate it five stars is the parking lot could use a little work other than that they don't need to change a thing.

This is obviously an older building, but very clean and the staff is very friendly. We found what we needed for a good price and we didn't have to hunt through a bunch of non-grocery options.

Prices were very on the high end..Was shocked..Stopped in to grab fresh Salmon..they had no fresh Salmon, only frozen..But they did have some Croakers and ButterFish. Drinks were extremely overpriced. A head of lettuce was 2.59. Not the Piggly Wiggly I remember, but I was impressed by the Long line at Deli..Fresh Food looked delicious..I assume the Deli is the Main Event, so I will maybe explore the Deli next time I come through. Store was very clean..Clean floors and freezers. I was impressed. Overall good experience, just not the bargains that I was anticipating.

I go to Piggly Wiggly when I go to Danville Va because I can spend 7.00 and get a full home cooked meal verses going to a chain restaurant and paying 40.00 dollars and up to get bland or over seasoned food. At Piggly Wiggly they support and sell local farmer’s vegetables and meats it’s the natural and organic foods for me ♥️♥️

I always enjoy shopping at Piggly Wiggly. You find those hometown items you can't get from your average franchise stores. The Hot Deli is home cooked food, Ms Loretta has fed my family for years. The Customer Service is outstanding!

Food bar always get sold fast. Store isnt smelling like old mop water so that's good. It isnt my 1st option to shop for all my needs but the meats are nice priced and clean

Nice place to shop. My only complaint is there is only one location in Danville, VA. I live opposite side out in the country so do not go out there way now a days. I use to live about 2 miles from them and shopped there several times a week. They also sale hot plate lunches at a low price and very tasty. They have great prices on their meats as well.

I love this place the food is excellent and the service is great. They have the best cooks this side of Virginia. The rice pudding is to live for. The yams 🍠 is the "yamist" I ever tasted 😋 it makes me want to shout! Take a moment and stop by you will not leave disappointed.

Beware of price jumps. The ready made meal price is now $6.99 and they reduced the amount of meat you get. If you want chicken wings they only give 3 per plate. We made the mistake of buying a cake and it tasted like it was freezer burnt. It was terrible. This store is very old and run down, and some times there is a funky smell more so on hot days, it like a moldy smell.

I was in town for the race last weekend and staying next door at the Best Western. Went and got some fried chicken and mashed potatoes and gravy and it was fantastic. I wish I had got the pork chops because those aren't available up here in Indiana in a grocery store deli cooked.

Very high prices on name brands. But considering there's no other grocery store nearby -the prices are going to be higher. Very basic store. Some unique items and foods. Cashier was very kind. Dont know her name. Older lady with glasses. She was very nice. God bless. We need more people like you in this world.

Groceries are higher price than Food Lion but they have a great meat department. They will also cut the meat you may want if it's not already cut. They also slice country ham if you need them to. Other places that sell country hams don't usually slice them.

Ahhhhhh, a throw back to the good ol days. This place feels like a old school neighborhood grocery store that you just do not see any longer. Super clean with neat shelves. Love it and would love to see more like it.

Great lunch and supper trays $6.09. chicken. Fish.hamburger steak with gravy. Veggies mAc n cheese. Banana pudding. Great corn bread. Good grocery store too.

Good old country grocery store. I've been going here with my grandma since I was a child. Always had good memories going to "the pig store" with her. Now I take my kids. Hope they remember this store just like I do.
