as far as grooming goes, i will not be back. my fur baby was matted, i take accountability for that. but i took her to be taken care of and instead of just saying they couldn’t do it, they attempted and only did half of her, or parts of her. they didn’t “ clean it up” or even try to make it look a little decent. i was not pleased.

The salon at this location has the very best staff. We’ve taken our old chi-terrier here a lot for nail trims and they always treat him like a little person. They’ll even stop to make his lil tail wag cause he’s so nervous. That’s extra service for free just cause they love what they do. I’d wanna know how staff treats animals before I took my pet somewhere. Be careful, ur pet might wanna stay here, with all that lovin’. Also, they got cool toys!

I am writing this because my little daughter doesn't stop crying, heartbroken after a terrible experience with an attempt to adopt a kitty from this store. We visited the store repeatedly and interacted with the animal through the glass because the store policy does not allow patrons to pet the animals at all. We get that. It is fine. We submitted an application regardless, and we waited patiently to be called back. However, the store never contacted us again. We returned to the store on adoption day, my daughter running all the way to the cage area to see the animal only to realize that the animal was gone and the message on the cage said that it had already found a home. When we asked the store associate about it, she was rude and unsympathetic - oh, she said, another family submitted an application before you and got the animal instead. She said this in front of my 9-year-old who was extremely hurt to receive the news this way. She has been crying for hours ever since because she received the news of the animal going to another family in the store, from an uncompassionate store associate who didn't even care enough to call us and tell us not to come in because the animal had been already taken. She got to stare at the empty cage and hear those hurtful words as if this was a trivial matter (adopting a pet, a new family member, should never be treated as a trivial matter). All this could have been avoided with a simple phone call if the rude store associate actually cared. It would have spared us the heartbreak. We will not return to this place and if we adopt, we will do it elsewhere.

Most of the staff are lovely, kind and helpful, but the few that aren't are condescending, disrespectful and drag the whole place down with them. Always dead fish, there was one left on the floor once, many of the bettas look 2 minutes from death. It's worth the drive the the nearest PetCo.

Sam was an absolute delight! We have had a lot of trouble growing cat grass for our Sydney in the past, and Sam was helpful, insightful, and educational! She gave excellent advice on which catgrass was better of the two we narrowed it down to, as well as tips on helping it not only survive, but to thrive. I could not ask for anyone better!

I just adopted four ferrets from our local shelter. Went to pick up some food for my yougins. The young lady at check out was very helpful..answered my questions and the ones she didn't know, she got from someone who did. I did not get her name, but she was awesome!!

We frequent this location, however we haven’t been in a little over a month. It is a completely new staff! That is not a good thing.1st we bought a top fin tank from this store we needed the replacement filters so I went back and while in there I asked an associated where were “the filters for the top fin bubble tank?” She looked me in the face and told me they didn’t have them and I would have to order them from Top Fin , well I was on FaceTime with my partner who told me go check the other isle and sure enough the were right there. Sad u really refer customers elsewhere when the product is in the store.2nd there was a large tank on the floor we wanted to purchase and asked if we could pay for it and come back with our other truck to pick it up the cashier called for the manager (a younger guy) who told us no we couldn’t do that.Way to lose money for your store, lose repeat customers and it’s just all around bad customer service!!👎🏻👎🏻 New staff please

Picked up a bearded dragon an I'm in love with it.(hard to tell male or female on the young) the young lady who helped gave some very helpful info on the feed for it. ATM kommo (what we named it) is in a temporary housing till we are moved this weekend. The store is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful

They need safer options for dog toys. Most of them are lethal if ingested. As a veterinary technician, I've seen my fair share of foreign object exploratory surgeries that cost thousands of dollars.

Went here to get stuff for my birds.. everything in the bird/parrot aisle was well stocked and organized! Found everything I needed (ZuPreem, Lafeber’s, and toys of course) with ease. Nice employees and quick checkout.

At first we got treated horrible by one of the workers there he was very rude he wouldn't even say excuse me or anything he bypassed daughter & my 6yr old grandson thats artistic and didn't even said anything to us he about pushed us out of the way to go attend to someone else he gave us a hard time all because we wanted to buy a gerbil and he wanted us to get an expensive fish tank from them I told him we had one and he did not want to sell it to us thank god his shift was over & he left & someone else took care of my daughter and a wonderful girl and boy took good care of us we ended up buying a hamster & 2 fishes.

The man who wears the very short shorts is so nasty and inappropriate. Why would the manager allow him to dress the way he does. It’s not professional at all but it’s very disturbing to shop and have to see him. Pet Smart needs to address this issue. I am not the only one who has complained. I have seen complaints on Facebook about him as welll.

U definitely pay pet store prices good if u feed the higher priced name brand foods, but then again most of the same options are available for a much cheaper price both at Rural king & on Chewey.
