In today’s high tech society of cell phones, computers, artificial intelligence, online stores, etc. It refreshing to stop by Old Dutch and get an old world feel of how things use to be. I have always and will always love Old Dutch. They still have the best meat department of any grocery store I have ever been to. Some of their products are priced higher than if you were to purchase the exact same products at Walmart, Amazon, or even FoodLion. I don’t know why that is but this isn’t something that keeps me from coming back.

One of the few Family Owned business around. They have excellent pricing on all meat's. An the owner's are amazing. They've always treated ALL employees like family. We need many more of this type of businesses around. Big Box stores are taking over cutting the little man out. They have hung on, and I hope they'll be there forever. Love this place.

It was great! I stopped there be abuse it was on my way home and I was very much impressed by the neatness and selection and prices. I found everything I wanted plus a few things. I will be stopping there again

We love old dutch! It's our go to mkt for meat. They actually have a butcher and meat wrapper. The staff is always great and they will help you to your car if you'd like. The best!!!!!!

Old Dutch is a great neighborhood grocery. It has friendly staff and everything you need to dirt up the kitchen. I usually shop there for my meats. Normally they have the best prices in town. I will say this though, they raise prices around food stamp distribution. I think it's wrong but that's what they do. So you have to shop on days people don't have stamps. If not then expect to pay higher prices. Other than that, it's a great place to get that T-bone!Updated 3/14/23I stopped by to grab some bread and found the chicken at very reasonable prices. The hamburger was extremely high. I guess they have the cows outback and feeding them golden grass and silver hay bails. Just like everywhere else you can expect to pay a lot more than a year ago. Higher prices and less quality and quantity. The people who work here are always nice and seem ready to help if needed.. I still say this is the best place to get all of your meats versus the other big box stores. I will say this though all of the old duchess in this area have different prices on their items because they are owned by different people. The West main store may have hamburger at 599 a pound while the North main store may have it for 299 a pound. So it's kind of hit and miss when the shopping at different locations.

Above and beyond excellent service! I called with a last minute request for special cut steaks for a special occasion and even though the butcher was done cutting and cleaned up for the night he was happy to help. He had 2 beautiful steaks waiting for us to pick up within minutes.

Old Dutch is by far my favorite grocery store!! Midtown market runs a close second but its all about shopping local. The manners. The respect you are given. The pride in their service. I love Old Dutch!

Love this place!! We drive from another state to come here just for meats and produce! The meats are great and are priced to where i can come and not spend a bunch if money to stock up. Love it!!

I love Old Dutch very nice supermarket I used to hear women talking about Old Dutch when I worked at Tultex in Martinsville so that tells you how long they have been around very pleasant store to visit hope they will be around for many years to come

The best place to buy the small chicken wings and legs, especially if you live alone, wher else can you buy a pack for $2 with 6 wings. I can't stand the big ones.

This is the classic "local" supermarket, where you can still get custom butcher orders, and find "Southern" staples of other cuts of the hog and beef, as well as chicken livers.

Small local grocery store. Mostly local meats and vegetables. Friendly and helpful staff. Want as special cut of meat, there is a butcher on staff. Reasonable prices with courteous staff.
