This Goodwill is a little more expensive because things are individually priced. It is also better organized. Clothing is organized by side and type which is very helpful. Children's books are only 10 cent, soft over are $1 and hard backs are $2. The staff is very nice and helpful. Checkout took a while but they were training a new employee.

Prices are alright, individually prices but most of the similar items are the same price. Most shirts/tank tops are 4.99. They have a 14 day *exchange* policy yet their dressing rooms were closed. So, you are unable to see if something properly fits you but you cannot return if it does not fit, you just get store credit. I’ve never been to a Goodwill with returns so I wasn’t expecting that but the fact that the dressing rooms were closed for seemingly no reason seemed like a trap/scheme so you spend more money on more items. The staff was friendly though and the store was very clean and organized with snacks and new small items on the way to the cash register for 1.99 per item or 3.50 for 2. I’ve given 3 stars mainly because if the closed dressing rooms and exchange policy combined. Dressing rooms being open is vital for clothing stores especially when there is not a universal sizing as there are so many different brands.

UPDATE - Thank you Roanoke headquarters for your proactive approach with the management team at this location by getting this foyer area cleaned up. The appearance is much improved and it now reflects what our community store should be!!!

This good will has a very large clothing selection. Pants are ACTUALLY organized by size which is such a treat for thrifters , it can't save so much time. Their home items is smaller and was almost bare.

This is a great location, friendly people, good parking, easy donation drop off. Goodwill is WAY too over priced for the inventory being free. I know they aren’t lining the pockets of their hardworking employees. I personally will be taking my donations to the Salvation Army & I encourage you to do the same.

You can find some good finds here and the staff is friendly and is very helpful! We purchased an antique kitchen set and two ladies went out of their way to assist in loading it into my truck.

I have never in my life seen a store try to rip somebody off you have a fitting room but won’t let nobody use it and you won’t do returns !!!! Really I’ve never been into a store who won’t let you get your money back for something you don’t like or want or that’s absolutely horrible you’re basically keeping everybody’s money I bought my son some clothes they wouldn’t let me use the fitting room so he could try them so when I brought them back they didn’t want to give me my money back and it was only 24 hours this place needs to be closed down. I’m definitely calling the Better Business Bureau.!!!

Its a typical goodwill, lots of clothes, a hodge-podge of housewares newer and old, some vhs' from decades ago, laminate furniture, but to our great surprise, a large assortment of books at amazing prices! We ended up leaving with a near complete set of dishware that we didn't need, and a huge assortment of any kind of book for ourselves and the kids... total cost was 38$. Honestly, that was a steal!

Went in here with the wife and family on a trip to Danville and we liked this store. A lot of the stuff in here was way outdated though and we had to sift through a lot of old clothes but we did manage to find some good things amongst the racks. The store itself was clean though when we visited. Overall I do recommend this store to anybody.

I have both shopped and donated goods here. Recently though, I tried to donate a couple of end tables (one of which I’d bought there) and an upholstered dressing table stool. The fellow in the receiving area would not accept them “because they didn’t meet their quality standards.” I was shocked as I’d seen much worse “quality” in their store frequently.So, I will no longer be either shopping or donating to Goodwill ever again.Additionally, I’ve also learned that they send their best quality donations to bigger city stores.

Good spot in our community! It used to host the best bookstore in area, but sadly it's gone. They still carry books, but the current sell doesn't compare. Great, cheap buys all-around.

My first time there , I was charged for 32 pieces of children's cloth on my bill , that I did not buy , I was charged for 2 pair of shoes I did not have, I was almost charged for 2 adult coats in price, that I had to point out and ague about being children coats big difference in price.There was a long line so I didn't check my receipt right away but I told the cashier this seems very high for what I have, trying not to hold up the line I payed and checked afterwards, they owe me 70$ called back within 20 minutes to talk to a manager about my money ,left a message, called again 2 times in the morning and at the end of the day, was told I get a call back, this call never came , I am still waiting, I live 1.5 hours away , very unprofessional, but, they will see me soon, 10/16/19

Unfortunately gotten a lot worse over the years. I remember when this goodwill had a huge book section, almost like a library. That's been gone for quite some time and the store has seemed to suffer. Clothing selection isn't the best, although the prices are good (aka standard). Anyway, it gets an: eh.

I will never shop goodwill again they claim to be nonprofit well let me tell you they are making money hand over fist. They are supposed to be helping people I've not found anyone yet to say they helped them, if you want to help someone donate to salvation army they share their good to people in need. The CEO of goodwill makes 425,000 a year yeah they helping line their greedy pockets never again.

Sunday April 29th I witnessed Store Manager Ashley beome loud rude and completely unprofessional to an elderly man. It was absolutely unnecessary and it amazed me that this very large woman felt the need to verbally assault and much smaller and older person in full view and earshot of the entire store. It was a Disgusting display of hatefulness.

This place is huge and we'll organized. The workers are extremely helpful and nice. When dropping donations off at the back they are very fast to get outside and help.

They get the stuff for free and y'all want even take a dollar off! Y'all are called the goodwill store. I've brought a lot of stuff to the store in my life time. I put it back and want be back!

They've recently remodeled this store to be more consistent with the layout of other stores. It's small and has a smaller book section now.

Used to be a great spot years ago. Everything is just so unorganized that I'm just over it after only 10 minutes or so each visit.
