Shout out to the Westover location for being the most disrespectful location to date. Was most excited to see self checkouts until an item rang up at the wrong price (twice what it was supposed to be) and hit the help button, to which no less than three employees walked past me with the most careless look on their faves as they could purposefully muster, then stand in a group and talk about nothing until I got tired of waiting and had to leave. I understand Food Lion is about the only game in town and they know it, but the employees did not seem to mind losing out on an $83 purchase. I can understand it’s hard to find good help these days, but Food Lion, do better

I went to foodlion around 4:53 pm April 28, Shania Was extremely rude rolling her eyes at me and had attitude like she didn’t wanna assist me even tho the screen said to wait on assistance so I could correct the amount of times it rung up it by mistake . it took it twice when I asked her to please help she had nothing but smart remarks eyes rolling slamming bags down like she had no home training . Shania please fix your attitude before you come across the wrong one. You are very unprofessional and rude and should be retrain on RESPECT if you don’t like your job then go somewhere else but other then that the other employees was really nice except for Shania .

Stopped to use the restroom and pick up a few things.The bathrooms are so nasty. You can tell the floor is only mopped. In the middle of the floor, the sinks and toilets have not been wiped in a long time.I did not buy anything from the store. 🤮

I absolutely HATE this Food Lion location to the point I quit shopping with this grocery chain all together!!! I've never felt this way about a business before..the atmosphere, the staff, the whole presence makes me literally RUN, NOT WALK to the nearest Walmart

Just found a hair that is short and dark in my pre sliced watermelon….. I would pay more on gas going to bring it to them than what it cost….. super sad

Wife went there today and asked when the rotisserie chickens would be ready. They lady in the deli said she did not know and had other things to do. Looked like the only one there. If your not trained to know when the chickens would be ready why are you there. Wife said they looked ready and the oven was giving an alarm of some kind and the chickens looked ready. Not great service and not a great answer to a customer. No problem, Sam's Club had plenty.

Reasonable with good selection. Busy location. Their loyalty program is good. Usually have enough check outs open. They now have some self-checkout lanes that work well. Staff and patrons seem nice.

I've been shopping here for over 17 yrs but never again!! The only time I've ever ordered online I get there and wait an hour after telling them I'm there and the order being ready. An apology for my 55 mins in the parking lot, then 3 out of 7 items I ordered (3 12. Pk cases of Mello Yello) isn't even in my stuff when I get 45 mins back home!!! No biggie for them though they just say oh come back and get it!!! No skin off their backs right! I'm sick to my stomach with this place at this point how freaking careless can u be!

The produce section has improved. Overall, a nice clean store. Employee attitudes are excellent.Took one star away for THE WORST parking lot in Danville. Turning in or getting out on Westover...terrible. Need more handicap spaces.

Love this Food Lion! It has a good produce department I got an excellent avocado there and their deli department is underrated because it has some delicious quick meals. Ummy bakery and friendly cashiers. I would rate it 10 stars but you can only rate up to 5.

There's a very limited selection of brands. Employees are helpful for the most part.Not nearly enough cashiers at busy times though. There are lines that back into the aisles.

Well I'm from out of town not far but still there's a geocache in the parking lot so that is big points from from me. I went in to get a drink they had cotton candy grapes that made me really happy but then when I was checking out I realized there was like no gum maybe one or two boxes had some in it everything else was empty turn around and look behind me there's hardly any candy man it is so sad that we don't just get to pop up at the store and grab what we want sometimes now it really is eye opening and lets us know how spoiled we actually are. I never thought I'd be so disappointed about gum. I don't guess it's really about the gum anyway the food Lion was pretty nice cotton candy grapes were excellent.

Well organized store. The best and freshest produce. I'm disabled. The employees are always ready to help. They offer help even before I have a chance to ask. Tonight they carried my groceries to my car. Always a great experience at this food lion.

This has been my favorite Food Lion since I was a young kid. This was also my first job after high school. Thanks to Judy who was the manager then. I love this store. Usually well stocked, friendly and helpful people.

The hot bar is never ready on time. Lady said look at the sign for the time. I did it said 11 am and I told her maybe she needs to look at the time because it was past 11. 🤷‍♂️ she was rude smacking her gum

The people who work out on the floor were very helpful & I had a friendly cashier. She got someone to put my groceries & heavy items in my vehicle. And she was happy to do that for me.

It was easy to find the items we're looking for my son and I was looking for it ginger ale. The prices on the Pepsi's were good. I had a crazy woman behind me in the checkout line. She was what she was. But it made the cashier laugh. Sincerely Richard and Vincent Catterton

Helpful & friendly staff. Well stocked store for Thanksgiving holidays. I went to Walmart first & they were out of several of the grocery items I was looking for, so I took a chance & went to Food Lion & glad I did. They had everything I needed.

The management in this store is great and it's uncluttered/organized as well. I generally have great service. Prices are cheaper on some items elsewhere but this store is closer for me.

Since we have been shopping at this store since it opened many years ago, i'll make this easy.This food lion is one of the cleanest, best stocked & most well managed of all the chains stores we have ever shopped in. Plus they have really good prices and sales.
