This store is very poorly maintained to be so new...maybe 5 yrs old! Employees complain to each other out loud about customers complaining about them not accepting debt card payments of all things and it happens way to often that something is always wrong with the system then there have been times I've been in the store and they aren't accepting cash or it has to he the exact change ..this store needs some serious upgrading and lessons in customer service

This store was great when it first opened. Now it's nasty and the employees attitudes are as well. Floors are disgusting. You stick to the floor as you walk on it. Nothing is ever in stock(or at least on the shelf). Same items are out of stock for weeks and every other store has it. The aisles are cluttered with trash and carts of things that need to be stocked, or empty boxes from stocking. Probably the worst DG in Danville. Will drive an extra 15 minutes to avoid this place. Management is lacking majorly. Close the store 10 minutes before 10, your hours aren't until 9:50. CLEAN THIS PLACE UP!!

Close to where I live so its very convenient!! I like the people that work there. One evening when I came in, the young African-American male employee was helping an elderly gentleman with his shopping. I just thought that was so sweet and above & beyond what was required of him!

Always good prices & friendly employees at most locations. My only complaint has been they sale out as quick as they get it in of the only nasal spray & eye drops that is the only one that helps my husband with his very bad allergies which is a DG brand. With so many customers buying these particular products daily you would think many more would be ordered where you have to go on a hunt at every Dollar General trying to buy these products. I went to 6 different locations and still could not find either on the shelf. Hopefully management will start taking notice of what's a great seller they run out of soon as it hits the shelf and order 20 times more instead of 6 to 8 boxes that's sold out the same day they get it on the shelf.

They had what I needed, but as per usual, I went in and the store was a mess. Product that should have been on a shelf just littered the floor. Carts with flattened boxes in aisles. Just disarray everywhere. I assume that it's not the employees fault, I'm guessing dollar general runs one or two employees a shift to save money, when they know that a couple people couldn't possibly handle that kind of work load. But the only thing higher ups care about is profit and that's the problem. Sorry dollar general employees, you're getting crapped on pretty hard

This Dollar General that I visited is on Mt Cross Road. I go all the way across town because the Two Dollar Generals that are near where I live are terrible. They go weeks without a common product. Most workers seem lazy and make Me feel like I am bothering them when I ask can they open a product up. Im thinking like, be more motivated about your job and maybe the shelves might get stocked faster. That's why I go across town, because nine of ten times, they will have what I need there. So Kudos to Dollar General on Mt Cross Road! Great JOB!

The manager on golf club road named Laura is horrible & will push u out if u take too long or annoy her. The rudest nastiest person I've ever met & won't return until she's gone.
