Great small brewery. Beer was good and smooth. Melissa was extremely friendly. People who complain about plastic don’t know the why. No way to wash the dishes. It’s a small spot. This is a small brewery in Damascus Virginia that had a decent selection of beers. When we were there they had eight brews on tap. They have a pretty good mix and really the only thing missing was a stout. We did 2 flights of 4 so we tried everything and my favorite was a New England IPA. This is a small place and no kitchen so bring your own munchies (I assume, but check). Finally they have good indoor and outdoor seating.

Good beer can be found here. But no food or food truck (at least today). All beer is brewed on site. Had they served meals, would have stayed longer.Bar seating for 8 or so, and a couple of tables inside with lots of seating outside. Most people were watching football - TN Volunteer Supporters 🏈Also has what uses to be a freight dock, now a stage for bands.One restroom that we saw - unisex.Lots of games to play - foosball, darts, etc.

We stopped by the Damascus Brewery on our way to Blowing Rock, NC and it was well worth it! The owner was tending bar and was wonderful to chat with. Their location has a nice relaxed atmosphere. I grabbed a 6 pack of Beaver Rage and enjoyed one while on a hike, very refreshing.

Had a phenomenal time there. The wait staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Had a variety of different beers to meet anyone’s tastes. The beers were actually good unlike most breweries where you just act like it’s good because of the nice atmosphere.

Great find driving through to Boone. Locals were so friendly. Had 2 day boards, games were on, shirts were hanging that had been dyed and the beer variety was plentiful! The shot and IPA... yummy.

Don’t just a book by it’s over. The first time I biked by this brewery the dingy outside kept me from giving it a try, but luckily this visit I read some of the reviews they didn’t let me down. The atmosphere is industrial but very clean and welcoming. The bartender Lindsay was very outgoing, friendly and knowledgeable…she even gave me dinner recommendations for a nearby winery. The beer selection was great and I had 4 different beers, each equally impressive.

The Beaver Rage beer has always been a good go-to when I visit Damascus. Recently stopped in for the first time in about 5 years and bought the 22 bottle of Dankness Monster. It was excellent.

There non alcoholic apple cider. Oh my gosh super super super good. Owner was very friendly will be back. Just don’t know when lol as I’m from NC just love coming up here and getting away.

The beer here is amazing. With 50 different ones to try I'm sure you'll find your new favorite. I love the outdoors space that they have made really intimate with string lights. They were complying with social distancing and I felt safe in that regard. If you like ciders and sours- try the honey apple cider! I loved it.

This brewery is some con mans dream!Upon arriving at the bar...I noticed they had glasses.(Every savvy beer drinker knows....that beer should be served and enjoyed in a glass) We ordered two beers in glasses. To our astonishment we are told that if we want beer in a glass it's going to be $7.00 for the glass and $6.00 to have it filled. What a rip...!Beer was OK! Bypass this one.

Passed through Damascus on a 5 day motorcycle trip. The brewery was closed when we got there but the owner opened it for us. The beers were fantastic and he was a lot of fun to chat with. We brought a stainless mug and keychain back to Ontario with us...the beaver logo is awesome!

Great views and great brews! Nice little outside section with what I believe to be a stage for live music. Cornhole boards and pet friendly! Beautiful little brewery tucked into the mountains.

Is a nice brewery with open atmosphere, chill setting, and warm welcome. Seating outdoors is nice and has options for games. The beers we had were both sours and we enjoyed them both. If we had the option to come back we would have tried more options.

What a great brewery in this mountain town. The vibe is great- fun games, very welcoming. The hazy IPA was really tasty. And the staff are the best ever. Definitely worth stopping in for a beer or two when you’re in Damascus!

Fantastic atmosphere- Friendly employees- it’s a Brewery and their products are top notch. The day we were there the “Possum Playboys” were there and they made it a perfect evening. One of the best places you can go for a fun evening.

Nice choice of local brews. Atmosphere is fun but industrial. Felt like I was in a barn which is ok with nice weather but not so sure would be comfortable on hot days. Plenty of outdoor seating. One coed bathroom. Overall not a bad place but could use a good cleaning and furniture update.

It's great to have The Damascus Brewery close by. I travel frequently for work, and I like to always check out a brewery or two where ever I travel to. I have been to many that serve great beer, and I have been to many million dollar store fronts that look amazing, but serve not so good beer. To me (as it should be), taste is what is important for a brewery. I am glad that Damascus gets it right on taste. They know what they are doing when it comes to brewing and always put out great taste and consistency with their beers.

The bartender is amazing, great at conversation and down to earth. My girlfriend and I had an excellent time with him and the other patrons while visiting. They have games, and frankly what I would call the perfect atmosphere. Beers are good, people are good, environment is good. Nailed it. I highly recommend this brewery.

Atmosphere was cool and staff was friendly but the beers weren’t that great. Our party tried a wide variety of what they had to offer but nothing seemed to stick out. If we are ever back in the area we would be likely to give it another shot.
