What a great day for our family.The staff at the Bike Station were all so very helpful, thorough, and kind. We've been coming to the VCT since our college sophomore was in elementary school. These bikes were the best we've ever ridden here!The shuttle driver Roger (?) was great in pointing out things we didn't know and the best part, he didn't make me carsick 🤢! 1st time ever up here! 😁We even took our new pup along and she rode happily along behind her dad.Our 2 adult kids bailed along the way, but they were able to catch another shuttle back.Great day for the VCT!

The crew at The Bike Station were very organized and had great customer service! They were able to handle our large group with ease! They had beautiful well cared for bikes, and very kind drivers who loaded and unloaded all the bikes for us. We will definately be using them again! Don't forget to bring cash to tip your driver - I forgot but was able to call back and tip using my card.

Exceptional customer service sets The Bike Station apart! Their knowledgeable staff ensured our comfort from start to finish on our first Va Creeper trail ride. From perfectly fitted bikes to accommodating our furry companion "Josie" with the Dog BOB trailer, every detail was meticulously attended to. Their helpful explanations of the route's stops enhanced our enjoyment, making the entire experience unforgettable. We're already planning our next ride with The Bike Station and wholeheartedly recommend them for their outstanding service and equipment. A definite 5-star rating from us!

I’m so glad I chose The Bike Station for our bike rentals. The staff was absolutely sweet and welcoming and were very generous to recommend a pancho, which we absolutely are so glad we purchased since it was a muddy day. They showed us a map and gave us tons of useful information for our bike ride. The driver for the shuttle bus was very nice and friendly. We felt very welcomed by everyone and the bikes are top notch comfortable !! I’m even wanting to purchase a bike like theirs because it was very comforting during my ride down the mountain. They all welcomed us back at our return and were just overall friendly . I will definitely be returning and renting from them again ! Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

It was very easy to book online. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I was a little worried about renting a bike since my husband and I have pretty nice ones at home, but coming from out of town, it was an inconvenience to bring it when we could rent for a fair price. We were very happily surprised at how nice the rental bikes were. The seats were comfortable and in excellent shape- I got lucky and got a brand new one. I would definitely use The Bike Station again if I come back to ride the Creeper Trail.

The Bike Station truly has it all. Ease of online reservations, comfortable bikes, friendly staff and the convenience of the van ride to the top of the mountain. I am on the shorter side and they ensured I had a bike that met my needs. They offer restrooms, refreshments, snacks and the staff are very knowledgable about the area and what is available. I will definitely be using their services for future trips to the creeper trail!

Third trip down The Creeper Trail and my third time using The Bike Station! These folks are friendly, personable and knowledgeable. Roger was our shuttle driver and he made our experience more fun and helped raise our excitement level with his knowledge on the trail and the history of the area. I highly recommend The Bike Station!

I normally don’t leave reviews, but I had to leave one on the bike station because they provided superb customer service. We have two younger children, which all employees were very patient, helpful and knowledgeable about each bike and trails. Will be going back soon and staying longer!

Best, most friendly staff. I arrived with a screw in my car tire—asked my driver if he knew of a tire shop that was open. It was Sunday and everything was closed. He took a look at it and told me he had a patch kit at home and would take car of my tire while I was out on my ride—who does that!! So kind. You don’t find places who look after people like this very often these days. High recommend if you are in the area and want to rent bikes!

My family reserved bikes over Easter weekend and had a wonderful experience. Staff members were incredibly kind and helpful. Our bikes were brand new and the van ride up the mountain was filled with hilarious stories by the van driver. If I could give 10 stars, I would! Highly recommend.

What an amazing family experience!! The Creeper Trail is incredibly beautiful and the first leg is almost all downhill! The Bike Station was awesome—so friendly and accommodating to all of our family!! Even have these great 3-wheel trikes for my 80-something parents! We were so happy they could join us! Definitely recommend and absolutely will be back!!

My family and friends have used The Bike Station for over 30 years. Yesterday, the bike I was put on did not fit and it was a task to not wreck while on it. The feel of the bike was difficult and the shock absorbers did not work at all. I have never had such a rough ride. When I returned, I spoke to the manager, Danny. He is new, having been there only 2 months. He did his best to make me look like an idiot rather than taking any responsibility for renting me a bike that has seen its better days. He all but laughed in my face. He showed no compassion nor did I even get a sorry for my experience. I have ridden this trail so many times and I know well how a well fitted bike should feel. My family and friends will be taking our business to a different bike rental business for certain; one who appreciates our business. New management will be the downfall of this business.

Great experience with bike rental and shuttle, new well maintained bikes and knowledgeable staff. We did a shuttle to Whitetop and rode down then a shuttle to Abingdon then rode back. If you do the whole trail they recommended this and I’m glad we did. Will use them again the next time.

I definitely recommend the bike station. We had a large group of about 25 and they were very accommodating and helpful. We had a great day on the Virginia creeper Trail thanks to their service. we did the 17 mile shuttle with many bike rentals. We even had a trailer for a dog.

This was our first time meeting the new owners. We were very happy with the continued laid back, family feel. We had an issue on our ride (unrelated to the Bike Station, totally related to my grumpy 9 year old), and they were very accommodating to help us resolve our issue. We absolutely loved The Bike Station. Such great people that really wanted our experience with The Virgiana Creeper Trail to be the best (which it was)! They bent over backwards to accommodate our needs including allowing us access to their three dogs which gave us our 'puppy fix'. Thank you Bike Station!

The staff at The Bike Station took great care of us & got us started up the hill to White Top just fine.Bikes provided fit well and no issues.There are a dozen other companies that can do the same in Damascus, if your riding the Creeper Trail, but we keep coming back here. It’s all about the people.Restrooms on site too, not ADA - steps to get in to them, but glad they have them.

Everyone was wonderful! We brought our own bikes, helped us unload from our truck. Roy checked my son's tires and noticed they were low, so he filled them up. That just spoke volumes to me about how they care about people. We got back to the station about five hours after we started. It was nice knowing they would have picked us up at the halfway point, thought for sure we might need it, but we all preserved. They even helped us load out bikes back into our truck. So nice because I was beat!

The folks at the Bike Station went above and beyond to make sure our trip went well.It started by them, offering to pick us up from Abington and shuttling us to Whitetop even though their service is usually from Damascus. Then, when I had a flat, they brought us a new tube and made sure we got going again. We had a wonderful trip on the Creeper and it’s in major part due to the people at the Bike Station.
