Just returned from staying here for two nights and loved it. Easy check-in. The rooms were very nice, all had a different theme and I chose the Summit, room 202. Pics throughout room of the summit on the AT. Nice having a full refrigerator, stove and sink too. Bathroom was great and loved the rain shower. Beds were extremely comfortable and slept like a baby. The balcony overlooked the creeper trail and the river. A very comfortable peaceful stay close to everything!! We loved it and will definitely stay again.❤️🏞️😎 Hoping another trip in the Fall.

This is a beautiful new inn, in the heart of Damascus. Each suite is decorated with photos of the area. Every room has a balcony with a swing and rocking chairs that overlook the Virginia Creeper Trail and Laurel Creek. The swing was a nice place to unwind and to just relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. We stayed in the Wolf's Den suite and it was very clean and it had all the amenities of home, fully furnished kitchen with all necessities that you would need to cook with. If you love to hike, ride bikes or just want to get away for a relaxing weekend this is the place to stay. 5 stars all the way.

Beautiful botique inn located right on the Creeper Trail in Damascus VA. We stayed in room 201, The Peddler which was themed in bike decor, the bar stools even had pedals. Room was clean and everything was new and fresh. Fully equipped kitchen and a nice walk in shower with a rain shower head. Had a good nights sleep in a quiet atmosphere. Woke up to a nice cup of coffee on the balcony overlooking Creeper Trail. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you for the relaxing weekend and an escape away from the grind.

Great new place to stay in Damascus! Clean and neat rooms, themed to local adventure! Rooms have stoves, fridges and microwaves giving you the option to cook for yourself while staying there. The Inn is located very close to a grocery store making that very convenient.Great balcony with porch swings and rocking chairs overlooking Laurel Creek and the Creeper Trail!There is so much to do in the area, whether you are looking to hike on the local trails, bike the Creeper Trail, float the river, or fish for trout, the Rivertrail Inn is in a great location and I would stay there again anytime!

My husband and I stayed here the weekend before last and it was beautiful. We were riding at the creeper trail so this location was spot on. Our room was extremely clean and had everything we needed. It had pots, pans, cups, stove etc you name it. Our balcony over looked the water and past that was a beautiful farm. The water was so peaceful and relaxing. I can't wait to come back and stay again.

In LOVE with this quiet, beautiful inn located in the heart of Damascus overlooking the Creeper Trail and Laurel Creek. We stayed in Room 206 - the Grayson, which is reflective of beautiful nearby Grayson Highlands. Cant' say enough about this well appointed room - very clean and comfortable with lots of unique furnishings and amenities. The hosts thought of everything! Especially loved the swing and rockers on the porch....amazing place for a glass of wine and a book or your morning coffee. We want to visit each of the 12 uniquely furnished rooms...we'll definitely be back!!

One of a kind Inn in beautiful Damascus. The room was brand new and beautifully decorated. Everything and anything you could need for a nights stay or a week long vacation. Well stocked kitchen and large porch with swing and rocking chairs overlooking the river were wonderful amenities. We will be back and will recommend to all of our friends and family.

Brought my daughter and her bestie's here for a Riverside sleepover birthday party. They walked around on the trail looking for an abandoned haunted house that I'm pretty sure they imagined.There's a Food City right next door almost, so we got some food and picked up her birthday cake there. And of course the girls loaded up on candy 🤣The room is very nice and spacious and there is a table with seating for four comfortably, five if they make room for Mom. The little back patio is the perfect place for having a morning cup of coffee. The sound of the river is hypnotic and the view of the water and the forest is incredibly peaceful.We came in February, so it was pretty quiet. I would imagine when Trail Days is happening here it will be a little more rowdy but I would definitely have to recommend the place. There were other people here and it was very quiet. We didn't really hear them or anything.

Had the best relaxing time at this new Inn in Damascus. Great atmosphere, great location and absolutely the best view from the porch over looking the river. The rooms are cozy with enough room for someone traveling single or with a family of 4. Highly recommend this place to stay for one night or a week.

Great atmosphere. Very nice amenities. And cozy. We stayed one night and was very pleased with the "get-away" feeling, even though you just a short walk down the creeper trail from all that Damascus has to offer.

Slept like a bear. There were lots of guests but the rooms are very quiet. Everything is just clean and new. Love having a kitchenette, it's so expensive to eat out anymore and the value of the room is amplified by having a grocery store a stone's throw away!We were in the Summit room, which has artwork from different peaks from across Appalachia and this cool little hiker dude was on the shelf. Please don't steal it, next time I stay here I hope to see him still hanging out next to the coffee cups.You can ride your bike from the parking lot right down onto the Creeper Trail, and there's a lot of other cool activities to do nearby. You can hike to Backbone or just find your own way in this nature lover's paradise.

The Inn was new, clean and close to everything. The check-in was super convenient considering we got there late. The bed was very comfortable and the view from the patio was beautiful and peaceful. We will definitely be staying here again!!Rooms: Clean, well-stocked and bed was very comfortable.

Nice clean place to stay. Lots of hiking nearby, not just for bicycling! Fantastic shower, and I greatly enjoyed making some coffee and sitting on the balcony listening to the river. Five stars🤩Walkability: Food and outdoor activities all within walking distance.

Brand new inn. Very well planned and comfortable rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff.Noteworthy details: Open air deck on back side of rooms overlooking Laurel Creek. Very nice.
