From the street the outside looks vacant, closed and or abandoned. I wasn't sure even if was opened. Glad i decided on the u turn and stopped in. Variety of coffee options with lunch fare. Ordered the chipotle chicken salad wrap. Several different sandwiches to choose from. I think they roast on site. Bags of beans in the back and some machines.

It was so quiet in there - I loved it! Got through a bunch of emails I needed to get through.It's fall, so I tried the specialty Campfire drink with toffee flavor. It was delicious!!!!The service was great as well. She was happy and bubbly and made me laugh.Can't wait to try something else new there!!!

I normally order a white chocolate mocha from Starbucks, so when I go to other coffee places I try to order the same drink and compare. I ordered a large and it’s pictured below. When I got my drink it was about 80% full, I think the froth filled up the other 20%. The drink wasn’t as sweet or strong in flavor as I thought it would be. It was still a decent drink but I would maybe try something different the next time. I also bought two muffins and a super cute coffee cup! My totally was $22 and I felt that was reasonable for my items. The girl who helped me was very nice and had a happy demeanor.

This location has fallen off so much. I used to recommend it as worthwhile coffee stop but I no longer can. I entered to see 2 kids cutting up and talking to the barista while another customer waited to place her order. I sat and waited for my turn. 20 min later their orders were filled and after another chat with the other employee in the kitchen(while I waited at the counter) the barista finally took my order. One [6] shot espresso. This uninspired watery mess s what I received. The pale creme was gone is seconds. No presence of oil or flavor in this mess. The coffee station was filthy with stale grounds everywhere and the puck handles laid spout side on the dirty counter. There is not only a lack of quality here....Safe Serve protocol and basic health standards are being violated. After remarking that my order was horrid the barista ignored me and went back to his buddies.Product- 1 starService- 1 starCleanliness- 1 starIn the end I lost about $5, 20 minutes of my time, and the last bits of respect for this location and the only thing I have to show for it is a small cup of disgusting stale tasting water that only resembles coffee slightly in color.

I LOVE your coffees. Stop by every trip to stock up. Good service too. Next time will buy a sweatshirt. Update: tried emailing through contact email on website about getting a sweatshirt I really wanted. Received no communication back. Disappointing because we live 7 hours away.

Walked in to an empty place except one person waiting for a drink and one barista. No one said hello. Barista was moving slowly and talking to the guy waiting for the drink. Telling him about her work history. I waited a few minutes but she didn’t seem to be making progress on his order and never acknowledged me. I left.

Nice little coffee shop close to the highway. I needed a little pick me up 6 house into my 9 hour drive. My GPS brought me here. It was very easy to get to off the exit and to get back on the highway when I was done.

We visit here frequently even though we live out of state. We always get excellent service, quality products. Most of my family enjoy esspreso, while I enjoy the flavor of the day tea. Today, the berista, Hailey, welcomed us with a happy personality and really made our experience even more enjoyable, as she was over the top to make our visit the best.

This particular location, I feel, has been on a downward slope for a while. It always feels dirty ( I can hear my shoes sticking to the floor) and the service is mediocre. My husband has mentioned that his lattes are rarely hot, and today I figured out why.I ordered him a latte and watched the employee make it. The espresso was made to order, but instead of steaming the milk, the employee poured cold milk into the cup, then topped it with the espresso.When I picked the cup up, I could tell it wasn’t full. When I got to my car, imagine my surprise when I took the lid off to find an almost half empty cup of espresso mixed with milk. I guess they wanted me to think the foam had dissipated and that’s why it wasn’t too full.I'll drive the extra mile to visit the other local coffee shop from now on. I am honestly shocked that this occurred today. Whether it’s poor training or poor management, this location desperately needs an overhaul.

Trust me, I love Mill Mtn coffee with the best of them - I spent many, many hours in the Blacksburg location while in school. I work in Daleville now, and I'm just a little disappinted with this location.My biggest request is to either bring back the food menu (that Blacksburg has, or that this location had a few years ago) or to allow people to bring in their own food. I would come here so much more frequently during my lunch break if I was able to buy a sandwich or eat my own food with my coffee. The beverage options and quality are great, but I'll always choose to go to a place that has food options.Also please play some music. The silence is creepy.Features: Masks required for unvaccinated customers.

The staff here is great and they try to get to know you (when you aren't a walking zombie just looking for caffeine). Coffee beans roasted on site make really good tasting coffee and espresso drinks. Their smoothies are excellent and the food shouldn't be discounted!

Once the best coffee shop in Daleville, but has been in steady decline for a while. The location is always out items and the staff is usually apathetic. Atmosphere is still decent. Drive a few extra miles up 220 and go to Little Green Hive instead.

What a fabulous coffee and cafe!We were traveling on 81 during the holidays and were delighted to discover that they were open on Christmas Eve. I could not be happier to have heard so! Even though the traffic is awful for that exit and the lights and roads are confusing, it was definitely worth it for lunch and coffee.The service was delightful and polite. The baristas made us a delicious mocha and dirty chai. The offer soy milk as a dairy alternative - great! Our lunch was excellent. My sandwich was filling and his wrap actually filled him up! Both portions were generous and fairly priced.The atmosphere was great. It was a relaxing but cool interior. Great place to stay to read/study if it was a local spot.This will definitely remain a go-to stop for traveling on 81. Both ladies and gents will love the food, drinks, and atmosphere with such great employees at Mill Mtn!

This is a nice, quiet coffeeshop. We come here anytime we drive to Daleville and it's very relaxing. My favorite drink is a double shot of their espresso and my husband usually prefers a vanilla latte. Our kids love the oversized checkerboard and the couches make for a cozy, inviting environment.

I was there on 10/14/2022 @ 12:30 and to say my experience was not good is an understatement!! The girl working there was very rude, abrupt and not accommodating, needless to say I left there angry. I will not be going back there, as long as that employee is still there and unfortunately it was always my favorite place to get coffee. I don’t recommend stopping there!!

I just went out of town and it made me appreciate this place SO MUCH MORE. Inexpensive, delicious pastries, fast, yummy coffee. I've never had an order mix up or rude customer service. I highly recommend them!

I love Mill Mountain's food and drinks, and I love that they have abundant and comfortable seating. My only complaint is that they don't seem to have any f-ing heating. It is winter. Turn. On. Your. Heater. I am in town for ONE DAY to be there when a beloved childhood pet is put to sleep, and I need to work somewhere until that happens. I shouldn't be worried my toes are going to be frostbitten when I leave your store.

Depends on what you are going for...got a couple wraps and shared amongst a few people and they were all good. We also got some iced coffees but they were watered down quite a bit. The service was great, apologized profusely for running out chicken salad and everyone was friendly.

I highkey love this place. I live in florida and i come to virginia a couple times a year but theres never a visit that we dont go to mill mountain. The girl gave me exactly what i wanted even though i made it kinda complicated because i dont like alot of coffee and she was super nice about it give that girl a raise she deserves the world.

Not a quiet place to work on the go, staff are loud and obnoxious. This location used to be great, has definitely slid downhill. Land of a Thousand Hills is a much better location if you have work to do or need a quiet place.

Amazing iced latte with oat milk! Quick service and friendly staff. My kids enjoyed the muffins.
