Friday evening visit and the store was not busy. Everything seemed clean and orderly. Items were well stocked. Good selection of meats at decent prices. 5 out of seven stars for a perfect score. We'll return.

I've bought bad juice from here. And I've bought a pizza and it doesn't seem quite right. I think it went a little bad.I think some of their inventory expired despite the expiration date hasn't expired.Can't risk buying food here

My husband and I have really been impressed with this location. It's always very clean and well organized and they carry a nice selection. I especially love the fresh corn they have right now and the beautiful fresh flower selection. A $5 bouquet just lasted 3 weeks! (I do change the water daily) The staff are friendly and helpful and the pharmacy staff have been fantastic!! They genuinely seem to enjoy their work and go above and beyond to answer questions and be helpful. Will continue to give this location our business!

The night staff at Safeway tonight. Has shown me Grace like never before in my life when it comes to customer service. They are patient, understanding, considerate, compassionate about their job and I love that wholeheartedly. Never experience great customer service anywhere in Culpeper. They are always helpful. I recommend this store to everyone I know and don't know. Safeway is the place to go to.

So confused by the store super impressed with the produce department, the meat department the store looks clean. The deli area is way too cluttered. Hard to get around all of the employee carts for stocking and they only have one cashier every time I go in there and you’re lucky if the cashier is nice, I went shopping there on Friday afternoon June 23 and they had one cashier for the self check out and check out the lions were down the aisle. Oh by the way this was lunchtime.

🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨The absolute most inconsiderate, unprofessional, unwilling, pharmacy I have ever dealt with. After making me drive 1 hour an making several phone calls to confirm myMedication would be ready, they called to cancel as I was driving in, even though they had the medication and dosage, they claimed they only dealt with people in the immediate area and were completely rude an inconsiderate of my situation. Especially considering the fact that it was their negligence that created the entire situation (telling me to come down and confirming in 3 different calls). She basically decided not to give me my medication for what ever reason could be my name? My race? I don’t honestly know if this pharmacy is racist or following some sort of agenda for who to provide medication to and who to decline. I ⛔️ HIGHLY CAUTION ⛔️ the general public & I will be staying far away from this pharmacy, they are unfit to work in health care they fail to display any compassion for patients what’s so ever. Truly a sickening experience. Spread the word please don’t do business with these people they deserve to be shut down.🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨

This store in Culpeper seriously needs a facelift. Today, I shopped at this Safeway, and they had hardly any meat selection and honestly the whole store was generally under stocked. The only good thing that happened in that store was, for once, I had a great cashier (with pink braids) so thankful I didn't get the most obnoxious cashier with a British accent. That girl runs her mouth non stop even if she has ten people in line.

Good selection that meets my needs. Only reason for 4 stars is because there seemed to be issues with staffing registers and employee attitudes towards customers were not quite professional. May have been an off day. I'll certainly give them another try.

Poor customer service. Came in at 930pm on a day before valentines day to buy flowers n balloons. The cashier tells with an attitude that no one can help me until the next day at 9am. I just needed some fresh balloons. Put my flowers down and walked out.

A year ago Safeway became my favorite grocery store. I stopped in a week before Thanksgiving to pick up a couple items. I paid 18 dollars for a small jar of pumpkin spice and a regular size jar of mayonnaise. I was shocked.I do understand cost are going up but that was way overpriced.

A pack of Wahlburger hamburger in here is $13.99 and in Charlottesville you get the exact same pack for 6.99 amd the wahlburger pickles are almost 8 bucks here but in Ruckersville they are 5 bucks. Very clean store and well stocked but not the best bang for your buck for sure.

Heather was able to get the coupon to go through but she was rather rude to my brother who knocked something over. He went to pick it up making the joke,”Oh did I do that?” And with attitude to her voice she said,”Yes you knocked it over and it fell onto the floor.” I don’t really ever go to Safeway because of how unclean it looks but the managers/associates whatever she is. She was very rude.

8/20/22 @9:30 pm.I moved into this area recently, and this is the worst Safeway I’ve ever experienced. I’ve given it about 10 months to see if changes were made. The employees are almost all teenagers, which is fine, but they are all inattentive, literally playing catch with balls back and forth, ignore you to gossip, or on their phones.Today, my experience made me want to write this review. We were replacing our water jugs for our dispenser, and I was trying to tell the girl working self check out by the water that one of our jugs that I opened tonight was mildewy. I know it’s a third party thing, and a refund for the jug I wasted tonight would have been nice, but I was only telling her so she could tell someone else it had been contaminated. It was hard to get her attention cause she was gossiping with older a slender girl with long black hair. When I finally got her attention and told her she looked at me for a few seconds, said “did you put it in the bin outside?” I said yes. She said, “okay” and turned her back to me and went back to gossiping. This girl was young, short, maybe 5’2, with shoulder length brown and blonde highlighter hair, very fair skin and freckles and light blue/green?? Eyes. She kept glancing back to look at me as I was obviously standing there to talk to her, and continued to talk to the other black haired girl. Neither of them helped me or seemed to care about the water contamination. I was not able to catch a name, no one was wearing name tags.Upon taking out two new water jugs home and opening them, they were also contaminated so someone needs to be contacted about this. I did my part trying to already Safeway.

Very helpful! Amanda the manager on duty was great. Very nice to me when I called in about my pie accident. Rebecca in bakery is awesome!! Love the bake goods!! Nice and clean store! Great customer service!! Keep it up! Girl in pharmacy was so helpful too. She came out from the back of the pharmacy and helped me find what I needed on the shelf very pleasant very helpful.

Excellent store and employees however prices for identical items are outrageously expensive! It's a great store with great people working there and it's not there fault the prices are the way they are. If you're looking to get the same quality if not better quality products for my grocery store you would only be wasting enormous amounts of money by grocery shopping here. The pharmacy is opposite though their prices are some of the best I guess it all depends what one is looking for? If it's to get groceries for your family it's not the place to go unless you just like paying double the price for the identical item at Walmart but for the pharmacy it's excellent the stuff employees are excellent the Western Union is excellent but for whatever reason Safeway thinks it's okay to overcharge customers for items that can be found less than a mile away at less than half the price but if you're a person that doesn't have medical insurance their Pharmacy is excellent and as I said all the employees are excellent people it's just outrageously ridiculous astronomical prices for groceries

Pretty pricey for the low quality food they have. Beer selection is always good if you like shook up and foamy beers. Freezers are always broken down and the bathrooms are a toxic nightmare. The staff is really nice and the manager's haircut always brings a laugh. Great produce section.

Clean, well stocked. However, much lower prices on sale items IF you have their new digital coupon app. This is not the same as your store club card. If you have an old cell phone, no storage and therefore no app... then you have no digital sale prices 😟.
