Sam the manager is so nice. Room was very clean. No trouble at this hotel. Thought about going to sleepy hollow for less, changed my mind. For ten days that I was here, I worked across the street from sleepy hollow and the cops were there every single day multiple times. Breakfast is great at the quality inn eggs bacon biscuits and gravy yogurt waffles pastries juices. Delicious. Highly recommend.

Very good value for the price and great service. I have stayed here many times in the last several months as I may be relocating to this area soon.I have nothing but praise for all the front desk staff with whom I have interacted, notably Sam, Patrick, and Clara. They are all very friendly and any requests are attended to promptly.This is an older motel and the rooms are little dated, but the bed is great and interior spaces are pretty clean overall. Very comparable to the former Best Western (now Days Inn), but Quality Inn has the more comfortable mattress and box-spring by far. I am at Diamond Status with both Best Western and Choice Hotels rewards programs, and I would much rather stay at Quality Inn.The only truly fancier hotels in Culpeper are the Holiday Inn & Hampton Inn. I have stayed in both, but they are twice the price. Not really worth the extra cost unless you want the latest and greatest amenities, like the indoor pool, luxury bathrooms, or need use of the meeting facilities offered in those establishments.Rooms: Incredibly firm and comfortable mattress!

I'd love to give a "4" but finding that our mini fridge temperature was 64F in the morning and the perishable food we were traveling with would have to be thrown out, brings my rating to a "3".Upon check in we had an excellent experience with Clara. She was very funny and kind and nice and genuinely friendly. 5 stars for Clara.We were able to park right outside our room, which we loved for the convenience.Room had a chair with a lamp which my partner loves for reading newspapers.The housekeeping in our room was not great.-used towel left in bathroom from previous occupant-keycard left next to the tv from previous guest-no bathtub plug-floor was not vacuumed (but I did gather up 39 cents, so it wasn't all bad)The biggest problems were, as mentioned, in the morning when we opened the mini fridge, it was hot inside. My phone has a temperature gauge and it was 64F/18C inside the fridge and we had sliced meats, cheeses, mayo....lamentably all had to be disposed of.Additionally, the TV wouldn't work.It wasn't the remote control / batteries, as I tried the manual controls that were on the side of the TV as well.Press power on, the "LG" logo flashes for a fraction of a second and then black.We didn't need the TV overnight, but were going to check weather in the morning.But the sleep was quiet and beds were comfy and breakfast was included in the morning.Not a large breakfast area but it had omelets, sausage, hot/cold cereal, coffee/tea/juice/milk, waffles and things like that.On a regular weekday in March 2024, it was about $100 for this room after taxes

This is my first time staying here as a CLC member and I’m blown away! I’m confused on these reviews but one thing is for certain, it’s a motel set up and the rooms are a little out of date. This is not the Ritz Carlton or Holiday inn but it’s still decent and clean. My linen was clean and crisp, floors were free of debris and the bed and the service was amazing! I did not eat breakfast as I had packed my food but it smelled good. Being a truck driver we don’t have many hotels that will allow us to check in at any time since we run different and random times of the day and night. The gentleman who checked me in didn’t bat an eye and welcomed me to stay! Even said he would hold a room (I had called before arriving) It’s not big to some but it makes a difference to us drivers! Thank you for going the extra mile and ensuring I’d have a clean room to lay my head!

Checked in late in the evening. We had a smoking room so I expected the smell but this was the worst smoking room we ever had at any motel. The carpet was sticky in spots, there was garbage on the floor from the last occupants. I got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and killed 2 cockroachs. No bath towels, not that I would have used them at this point anyway, but on 4 towels that were about 18" x 24". My wife was exhausted so I let her sleep but as soon as she woke up around 5:30 we got the hell out of that nasty hole in the wall. NEVER stay there. I'll sleep in my vehicle before I consider this so called "Quality Inn"!!!!

We had no access to Google Maps, so the motel was difficult to find. The room was in-line with the price class. The people were friendly and helpful. The selection for breakfast was limited but the quality was good.Nearby activities: The next restaurant was half a mile away and closed at 9 pm

This was the worst experience at a motel I e ever had! Not helpful and was extremely disgusting! Carpet was ripping from the floor. Carpet in the room made my socks black within the first hour of checking in. Worst part was seeing a roach climbing up the wall. Nothing was done from the employees that worked there so I had to talk to cooperate. They were wonderful and refunded me. I will never stay there again a day in my life and I highly do not recommend anyone else to. Very disappointed!!Rooms: Extremely dirty and Disgusting!!

I was recently here for work on a stay where I had no clue how long I was actually going to be out here and the staff were very helpful in doing whatever they could to make sure I could regularly extend my intended stay without having to move rooms every time I extended it. The staff were very professional and helpful with any questions I had and were understandable of my schedule as I was working night shifts and needed to not be contacted during the normal daytime hours as I would be asleep. It was a very good quality stay especially for the price and if I am ever in the area again and need to stay day or night I will be staying here again.

My truck broke down near this hotel. I was very lucky. The people were gracious and helpful. My dog and myself were treated great. The room was very clean The breakfast was fresh and good. If I happen by here again I would stay here. I would not stay anywhere else in Culpepper.Noteworthy details: Customer service is the best part of this hotel. I have no complaints. Well managed and pride in their service.

This is the most horrific experience I have ever had at a hotel. When I first arrived, I noticed that the toilet paper in the bathroom wasn’t changed and the toilet gets stopped up when flushed. The room that I was in specifically had bed bugs and when I notified the front desk, the did absolutely nothing. If I could give this hotel 0 stars I would.

I was traveling from Philadelphia and was tried. When I seen hotel sign I exited but didn't realize it was 6 miles off the exit. I was tried after being at work for 12hrs and drove from 5pm till almost 10pm, so the price was pretty high but I paid I was ready to sleep. Room was good but not worth the price. Front desk was very polite and nice. Location is only low cause it took me so far off my route.

The staff was very friendly Stacy was wonderful the place and rooms were clean but. They started construction at 7:00 at night they have people running around at all hours of the night like it's a ghetto. Playing loud music and no concern for anyone else loud music with no concern for anyone else there was no breakfast. They had a bag with a muffin in it for your breakfast not a hot meal. You would think for $89 a night you would get a hot meal like they advertised. I would not recommend this quality inn and I stay only at quality inns this is by far the worst experience I have had.

Had to sit for 2 days due to Labor Day weekend to be able to reload 15 minutes south of here. First motel I tried to get into (Red Carpet Inn,) in Culpeper ended up not being big enough of a lot to get into with my 68 ft long rig... then the crazy little oriental lady came out flailing her arms and making a cross with them... so I was assuming that she wasn't welcoming me in. I had to back out of the driveway and back into the highway, and proceeded on US 29 when I came across the Quality Inn as well as 4 other motels in this little block of them. What a relief to see them.Quality Inn has the big lot for me to pull in, turn around and park. Desk receptionist was friendly, and gave me the best rate and discounts for being a Choice member... so stayed 2 nights on Labor Day weekend for just north of $200.00.No complaints, only recommendations on this motel when in Culpeper, VA.A 7-11 store is walking distance from the motel, 2 minutes away. There's also a Mexican restaurant out by the highway as well. Good experience overall... will stay here again when in the area.

If I could give zero stars I would! First room had roaches, second room reeked of smoke and had burn holes in the sheets. Rooms were not cleaned well. They offered to move rooms again, but that they needed to inspect first. They blamed housekeeping for not doing a well enough job, promised me a refund since I could not stay, but are not following through. Said they need managers approval and that one was on site all weekend, which was not the case. The night of I was told the manager was traveling in and would take care of it when they arrived. Did not hear back from anyone so did a follow up call to be told that they needed to take care of it right away, and since it has been a couple days a refund is not guaranteed! This hotel does not care of the room conditions and will give the run around to avoid any refunds. After traveling into town, it was a huge inconvenience to have to move multiple rooms, then had to find a nearby hotel that had availability last minute. Which cost us twice the rate we paid here! Yet, they will not hold themselves accountable nor issue a refund. Never again will I choose this hotel brand.
