While it’s not the biggest store by far, it definitely packs a punch! The majority of my mechanic’s tools come from here, I have had amazing luck with Kobalt over the years and the few times I’ve had to do warranty exchanges, it’s always a hassle free and friendly experience! The management team is super nice and since the new store manager has taken over, things seem even better! The associates are quicker to greet you and go out of their way even more than before. The flowers in the garden center are arranged in such a beautiful manner it’s literally a treat just to walk around there, see such beauty, and capture the wonderful smells. You can tell the staff really care about that store and it shows! Keep up the amazing work guys!

This is the worst Lowe’s. We have spent so much money here on remodeling our whole house and I can’t get anyone to answer the phones when checking on deliveries. When I go to the store there is never anyone in flooring, doors , appliances. I have had to call Lowe’s from in Lowe’s to try to get help. I called yesterday and was out on hold for a literal hour. I was owed $200 and was told to go to the store and pick it up , I drove 40 min there and they said it wasn’t there and they were mailing it. Now I am on hold again and the lady is rude and cutting me off, God know how long I will be on hold for. I will be switching to Home Depot!

Lowes of Culpeper #1803. I ordered a PitBoss 850 Pro last Saturday with an expected assembly and delivery today 4/18/24. Everything seemed on the up and up. I received constant confirmation throughout the week. I received a confirmed delivery window yesterday through email and another confirmation through text this morning. About an hour after the confirmation text I received another email saying there was an issue with my order. Called the store and was told the grill has not been assembled and they could not give an updated delivery time. Now keep in mind I took off work just for the delivery! Called the store asked to speak with the manager. Spoke with someone who claimed to be a manager and was advised they would look into it and call me back. An hour later still nothing. Called back and spoke with Assistant Manager Felix. He knocked $150 off the purchase and delivered the item in person in his own vehicle on the day expected. I'm planning my father's 70th this weekend and I needed the grill. It's not assembled as I wanted but it is a small price to pay for $150 off and the grill on hand. Felix saved the weekend! He definitely deserves an award or a pay increase/promotion. Thanks Felix.

I enjoy our local Lowes. The staff are friendly and helpful and pretty much everything I need is here. Great return policy, which is helpful. Yesterday, a staff person manning the self checkout saw me waiting and she came over and assisted instantly. She was very nice and helpful.

I bought a pit boss pro series 850 pellet grill from my Local Lowe's store. I unbox it, assemble it all and found out that I am missing the flame broiler assembly. I went back to the store for assistance and first no one was available to address this issue. Finally a guy came name Shawn and after long back and forth told me that that's how it was shipped to the store that I have to order it myself online.I wasn't told that a week prior when I came to buy it and they were no sign indicating that the flame broiler is customer's responsibility to acquire that. I have my meat seasoned and ready to go but now I don't know what to do. I thought Lowe's should have done that due diligence before putting this for sale.

Went to this Culpeper Lowes, April 5, 2024. Bought a $3000 John Deere riding lawnmower. They said they would assemble and deliver April 11. Delivery said be home between 12-4. It never came. Call in and was told it's not even assembled. Told us 1 more week. We'll, that was today. Same Delivery and assembly story. Today they said next week. I don't believe you anymore. Was place on hold for over 30 minutes while they gave me a run around multiple times. Culpeper Lowes use to be my go to. Not anymore.

My experience was poor customer service for the second year in a row. Last year I was going to purchase 25 bags of Black Cow compost manure but it was under a pallet in the parking lot and couldn't get anyone to remove the pallet. Today I was going to purchase 14 bags of Milorganite but the out of 12 bags that were on a pallet on the ground 6 had holes in them. But there was a whole pallet on the overhead. Again after 45 minutes and talking to 3 Lowes employees could not get them lowered. While waiting I checked Walmart on my phone. Well see you later. Walmart has good customer service.

I would leave less if I could. Went in to the store to purchase doors. All the doors we wanted we physically put hands on and purchased. The store was to deliver them on 2/5. After an hour trying to check out we finalized the purchase but they made 2 mistakes that the sales person was going to take care of as we were ,due to their inability to be efficient, in a time crunch. Fast forward 2 weeks to 2:30 today when we get an email saying that our doors were not available that the earliest they could be delivered is now Feb 12,2024. Immediately call and get the manager involved. He asked if he could call us in 15 min so he could investigate. 45 min later we have to call him. His response, well there was a small snafu, nothing we can do. The doors we bought are indeed in stock, with our names on them. The “ computer “ set the delivery from Sterling Va, not Culpeper. We saw what was put in the computer, it was indeed the Culpeper store. . The demeanor alone was enough to place the 0 stars, let alone to totality of the event. So, we are now driving 35 min to Lowe’s Culpeper, to see just how little there really is. If things change, I’ll update with a new review.

Far better pricing than the other big box Home improvement store in WarrentonThis store seams to have lots of Customer service employees to help you.Love this store they carry most every thing the other box store in Warrenton doesn't. It's farther to drive but I know it will be in stock.

Lowe’s is my least favorite for material supplies. This is solely based on Culpeper location. Store needs a good manager to get it in shape. Product on shelves is in disorder, many times they are out of basic building supply material. Cashiers don’t seem to care about wanting to be there, one guy (I think he’s the self appointed Sheriff of Lowe’s with his cowboy hat on) I have never seen doing anything but walking around doing nothing. I can never find someone to help me out when I need to locate an item. Another thing…can you find someone to bring lumber carts inside instead of having to walk back outside for a lumber cart. Maybe the “Sheriff” can handle that at least.

I was in Lowe's Culpeper about 2 wks ago. Went to appliance dept for washer. After waiting I finally got lady by name of Michelle who was not pleasant nor a people person. She was not truthful and very rude. Because of her we or anyone we know will no longer continue to be Lowe's customers. We asked for a manager and was told that Michelle was the manager. Never again.

There are pros and cons regarding my feelings about Lowes. First, I’m happy we have a Lowe’s conveniently located in Culpeper and it’s great when we have needed to purchase paint or other home improvement items; however, when shopping it would be nice if employees would approach me and see if I need help instead of avoiding the customer. Doesn’t happen every time but this has happened here and there so I feel like some employees may need more training in the importance of customer service. I really like the plant section and have found some great clearance deals on planters and plants. My husband is not happy with the 5 gallon water trade-in program because you can never buy more than you need and return the empties for credit. So there are improvements that could be made to give Lowes Culpeper a five star rating.

I cannot believe how rude some of these associates are. I returned some lumber the other day and I walked in the door with the lumber on my cart in the “pro” section. And one of the employees didn’t see me come in. He turned around and the first thing he said to me was, “Where do you think you’re going with all that lumber?” His tone came across to me like he thought I was stealing it. I said it was a return. He said I could leave it there and another lady started processing the return. Then the same associate that had asked what I was doing with the lumber says to me, “you can go ahead and put the lumber back after your through with the return.” I didn’t respond.Sure, I’ve had bad customer service experiences before… I’ve worked retail before. I understand how difficult it can be to work in a role like that. I, however, have never been treated that badly at any retail establishment and would have never thought to treat another person like that, especially a customer, back when I worked retail in high school. If I could leave zero stars, I would.

Vary poorly ran store. Ordered a door and told them I would be in the next day to pick it up. Was told they would have it pulled and ready. Showed up the next day, door wasn't pulled and waited almost an hr for them to pull it. Then asked what was going on and was told they were still trying to find it. I had to things to do so told them I would be back later. Showed up a couple days later to get the door waited for a little over 30 mins to be told they have the door in stock but it couldn't be found in the store... asked if I wanted to order another door or just get a refund. Heading to home depot for round 2

I got laughed at for asking a simple kind question. I asked if there was a human cashier and got laughed at and felt like they were disgusted for being asked that. The nice lady at the returns desk helped me and returned the items I had. She was very understanding and professional at her job. I won't be back not all the employees are like that. There are great ones that really take care in what they do

Just moved into a new home in February and have had many projects with no idea how to achieve them. I have gone to Lowe’s in Culpeper many times over the past few months and the staff there have been incredible every time. They even went up into the ceiling to restore power to their saw to cut my boards. A huge thanks to all of them across every department for their willingness to go the extra mile in customer service.

Worst service ever... I suggest you go by everything off of Amazon or even go to Home Depot at this point it'll be worth the drive. trying to buy a $299 tool and no one can come over and help. Go over to the contractor desk and they called for assistance. 10 min later, no one showed so went back to the kid at the contractor desk and we were told "oh well, what do you want me to do. " went to customer service and it was like gee..I'm so sorry that shouldn't happen and then walk off when I asked for someone in charge.The only nice person in this whole store was Tom. He works over in the chemical section for weed control etc. everybody else is rude and clueless. Amazon or drive to Warrenton to Home Depot.

I bought a calculator that was on the wrong peg and didn't notice it wasn't the construction master type the sticker advertised on the peg. I noticed the problem when i got in my truck in the parking lot. I returned the calculator and i was told they can't exchange it for the right item. They would have to charge me again and in 15 days the money for the exchange would go back on my debit card. I have destroyed my Lowes credit card and will be using my home depo card for future jobs. Lowes is treating there customers like garbage.Its not about the money. There customer service is horrible at there Culpeper store. Customer service said they have been told to stop allowing all exchanges. The customer is gonna lose out now. This is bad business.

My employer recently bought a trailer from your Culpeper, VA location. They went all the wayto Gainesville, VA to get us one when their on hand stock sold out. I went through the check out process and was ready to go hook my trailer up. I don’t have a back up camera, so it was taking me a bit to back up to the hitch. A Lowe’s employee (Jordon “Jo” Johnson), who was on his break in his vehicle, saw me struggling and helped guide me to the hitch. I was extremely grateful and surprised that he would take time to help when he was on his break. While trying to hook everything up I realized the safety chain clips didn’t fit on my hitch. Having such a long drive ahead of me and driving a company vehicle, I wasn’t comfortable driving off without them connected. I was in the middle of calling my coworker to ask for her advice when Jo came over to see if I needed any more help. My coworker was at a loss and so was I, so once again I was extremely grateful that Jo was around to help. He also noticed that I didn’t have any brake or signal lights turning on the trailer and that I need a hitch lock. We went inside and he deftly handled everything getting me a hitch lock, D- rings so that my safety chains could connect to my truck and a connector attachment for my lights. During all this I realized I did not have a company credit card on me and I thought I was going to have to get a coworker to send me her card information (which is against company rules). But, Jo was able to take the item numbers and add them to the trailer sale so that I could avoid all that. Jo was able to turn around what I thought was going to be a disappointing situation into the best customer service I’ve ever gotten. I was ready to leave the trailer in Culpeper until Jo had come around. He could have easily finished his break and gone back into the store, but instead he took time out of his day to help me get on the road and went way above and beyond his job duties. Our new trailer made it back safe and sound because of you and everyone is extremely thankful. I appreciate you immensely, Jo, thank you so much for all your help!!

The first got me to the right place for the wrong explanation I gave and I can't remember his name but he was very nice. The second one, Dave W. was very nice and after I figured out how to explain what I was looking for correctly was able to get me to the right place. He also told me stories about his cat. Who doesn't like someone helping you and you get told stories on the way?! Very pleasant experience. Thanks to you both.

I ordered from Lowes pick up for this first time. The pick-up situation was great, I immediately received an email confirmation and instructions. When I got to the store, the locker/pick up transaction was easy and quick, I was very impressed. However, I honestly should have checked my order in the bag before leaving… I ordered a half-face respirator and not only was the packaging already open and all crumbled up, but it was covered in some sort of dust/soot. It literally looked like someone used the respirator for sanding or other work purposes and then replaced in back in the package, bagged it up and placed for me to pick up. I bought a new item online, not “used” and it was over $60 for this item. I am very disappointed in how I received my order.
