I used to be anti-Harbor Freight. But recently the tools I've purchased from them have been rather good quality. I purchased an impact socket set (two actually - standard and metric) and they are very hefty tools with nice plastic cases. I also purchased a 3/4" cheater bar that works as it should. And just this evening I purchased a 3/4" pneumatic impact that is highly rated and again...hefty. Other tools have been purchased and I'll update as I use them. So far I'm really warming up to what HF sells.

I called for a specific motorcycle carrier and the gal that answered put me on hold to physically check the item. They had one left so I drove an hour down to purchase it. They were kind and curtious and even loaded the heavy item in my car. 5 stars for a great store with great service!

We like the prices and the selection of tools, but the customer service at the Culpeper Store can use some training from the Manassas Store! No greeting when you walk in, no one asks if you need help, employees texting on their phones ignoring customers or even while talking to customers, employees with their pants hanging down and underwear showing and acting frustrated that they have to help find something for you. Very disappointing compared to the great service one gets at the Manassas Store!

Great place to buy tools that are cheap and for the most part good quality. I'm finding they are as good as a lot of name brand residential tools. As for the Culpeper location, this is one of the cleanest and well put together harbor freight stores that I've ever been in. Parts are mostly on the shelf. Also nice workers at this location. I get their mailer with coupons and if you wait, everything in the store at some point during a given year goes on a good sale. I wait and watch for items I need or want :) and buy then once I get a coupon. Normally you will save 20%-30% with then.

Fantastic prices, friendly staff, easy to find tools you need. Better than advertised prices when you have their catalogue in hand. I keep going back again and again. I'm never disappointed. I highly recommend Harbor Freight Tools!

The manager was super patient working through a coupon that was not ringing up right. His staff was helpful on the phone checking stock and getting the over sized item out to my truck. More and more these days the staff makes the store and these folks are on point.

This location is on the smaller side, but I generally find everything I need here. The staff is always nice and helpful.Harbor Freight, in general, is known for very low prices on tools. While the quality may be lower than some name brands, the prices can't be beat.

harbor freight is a awesome store yes culpeper is smaller then other locations but still works for me and the tools work good had to laugh at the post saying the tools r junk and brake or r broken in package definitely not true. really can't get how u can get a tool and not see it's broken almost all the tools r packed in a open package not in a closed box and if u use them right they work fine I'm a mechanic and use the tools I got at harbor very day haven't had any brake and have never had one broken in package thank the person that made that post is full of u know what lol

We went to get connectors for compressor hose. They had a good selection well displayed with great prices. Employees were wearing masks and had shields up at checkouts

Thank you Harbor Freight for opening a store in Culpeper. It was a godsend. Can't help but get something every time I'm there. It amazes me how much inventory is maintained in one place. Great place for the DIYer.

Decent quality tools at bargain bin prices. Always free stuff and a 20% discount on any item when you bring in your ad, but they do send you LOTS of junk mail.

I asked a question about a jack that would determine which one I bought. The guy looked at it and gave me the wrong information so I spent $300 on something that was wrong. I don't mind if someone says I don't know but I can't stand when they pretend to know and are wrong

I usually use the FREDERICKSBURG store but they were out of stock on a sales item 20 ton press but was told culpeper had one but needed to call them to be sure they have it. I have tried for over 2 hours to contact them but no one answers the phone....bad customer service or phones are out. ?????

Harbor Freight's Culpeper location is smaller than the Fredericksburg but it has the essentials and is sure to stock the featured flyer items. I've had really positive experiences at this location...employees bringing a cart out to my car so I didn't have to lug the car seat across the parking lot, employees asking me what I was looking for, then getting items AND pulling out coupons I had missed, and my personal favorite, an employee seeing my preschooler, giving me a coupon for free batteries and telling me with honest enthusiasm that with a kid his age I could never have enough batteries.
