Normally a decent feed store, great staff. Not quite as nice to shop at as other locations, but not bad. However, I purchased 4 small bales of orchard grass last week at this location, and I was very disappointed. Quality seemed fine but very loosely bound, and average weight was only 28lbs. I purchased a few to compare from the Bealeton CFC, and those bales were 47lbs. I know theres differences based on cut, moisture, etc., but that seems ridiculous. The employee that helped me didn't seem too impressed with it either.I'll be back, but I hope you get your supplier situation sorted soon.

A home and farm store that has some of the special items you might be looking for, be it gardening, a new bed for your dog, maybe a wooden chair to put on your porch while sipping a "Mint Julep' , a ball for your horse to play with when you can't or a tasty snack for your goat. Just look around and you might just find that perfect gift for your pet or spouse. What is also nice is the employees are not required to work on Sundays and open six days a week is good enough.

Had a terrible experience with the bulk feed store today. I made a order 2 weeks ahead and in the morning of the delivery they push me due to a truck being down, Understandable, but this is always the case.I reached out to a manager and he calls me a liar. He claims that all my deliveries were done in another day and they never do delivery on Thursday which was my day I never been there so disrespected by anybody. I'm a business owner myself and the way they treat me I will never treat my customers that way. Besides that I called the upper management and at 9:00 a.m. Nobody was in the office called everybody that was listed on the website as a manager, and nobody was running the show.I'm really disappointed in CFC as they were a great company before seems like they grew up too fast they short staffed everybody's frustrated or quitting the company.I hope that this message makes it to the management and they understand the problem they have in their hands.

By far the coolest CFC I’ve been to! We’re new to the area and just started special ordering feed from Culpeper. They are able to get us the best of the best feeds for our small family poultry operation, have an amazing selection of all things farm equipment and animal husbandry needs, and most importantly super helpful staff.I enjoyed walking around for nearly an hour looking at all the stuff I can’t get at our smaller feed stores. Glad to have them in our new “neighborhood”!

A great supply store with a wide variety for all types of animals. Also offers a modest, but full section of clothing, hats and other unique items for sale. Went in for dog clean and wholesome dog treats. Left with great treats and some delicious handmade sea salt carmels.

Very helpful staff and all the products you would need as a landowner. Don't be shy to ask for help, there are many things that they have that aren't in the main store area. Even the team on the loading dock was helpful and friendly. The seed that I purchased there sprouted up quickly and I could see myself ordering from them rather routinely. I always check the date and quality of the seed in the bag and this location had fresh stuff.

Normally, I can find anything we need in the store. Sometimes, it's a hit or miss. Example Almanacs. I had to order online.Other than that, it's a great store.

Always clean inside, staff is always friendly and eager to help. Something I purchased rang up as more than listed, I didn't notice it. But the cashier went to check the price because she didn't think it was right & saved me money. Have purchased feed for my ducks here too & they always load the feed for me & has been quality feed.

I love the convenience of this place, as it is so close to my work and they have a decent selection of necessities for the animals. The only reason I give it 3 stars is because their “winter hours” are wicked inconvenient, closing at 5:30pm every day (other than Sunday when closed) is very hard for many people’s work schedules. I’m sure the store itself doesn’t dictate their hours but my suggestion is it would be nice if at least one day a week they could have later hours.

I visited this store today 6-15-2020 in Culpeper for the very first time. I was excited for the visit because I had a list of things to purchase. First of all, I was not greeted with a hello as all of the other customers were. No one asked if I needed help finding anything as the other customers were. After I found my items and was about to check out, prior to checking out, I heard the young lady ask everyone "do you have an account with us"(it's a fairly small store)some said "yes" others said "no" at least they were asked. She failed to ask me any questions and made me feel completely uncomfortable as if I was not allowed in the store due to the color of my skin....yes, I was uncomfortable being in that store and will not return for anything. I drove to the local tractor supply store and it was a completely different experience...thank you tractor supply!!!! I forgot to get her name and it wasn't printed on my receipt otherwise I would have mentioned her name.

One of the few places left that still has an awesome selection of Breyer horse models and accessories so always shop here before Christmas every year. Also have a very nice equine supply section with decent prices. Quality clothing brands such as Carhartt, Noble Outfitters, etc also.

Great place to get locally sourced feeds for livestock. Great selection of dog food as well. Everything you need to keep ruminants and horses happy and healthy. Also great selection of clothing and boots. Staff are friendly and professional. Highly recommend.

Our family went to CFC to get chickens. We walked in knowing nothing and left well informed thanks to Tiffany. Tiffany is awesome!!!! She spent a lot of time with us explaining the process of ordering hens and then sharing her experience and extensive knowledge on how to care for them once home. Will definitely go back!

Real nice and helpful service if they don't have it they will get it for you. Not like Tractor Supply at least the one in Culpeper every time I go in there you can't get nobody to help you. At Farm and Home no carrying big bags, go around back and they load it in your truck
