5 months ago when I first moved to town, I did a good amount of shopping at this location mostly because I didn’t want to drive to Charlottesville . The store was a mess , dirty, unorganized, and chaotic. I vowed never to go back. At some point around the Christmas holidays , I was too busy to go to other stores so I went back and I am so happy I did! The store had a younger crew working there , the aisles were cleared , shelves were stocked and I didn’t have to search the store for a cashier. What a pleasant change! Please keep this younger crew, they even smiled !

Music was blasting. Cold day and the doors were wide open. After getting our items we went to the car to look at the receipt. Three things showed a diff price than the yellow sticker price. Back in the store and kept saying hello, hello, and no one was at the register. A man with no badge, and regular clothes comes from the back and says he was the manager. Told him the problem, and he says we are changing our prices and haven't changed them yet. How would customers know that? No sign on the door etc. He says you should have looked when you were at the register. That was so rude! He didn't offer a refund, but put the blame on the customer. Wow! How unprofessional! Not happy with this store!

Worst store ever! Only have one person running register and stocking stuff at the same time so you always have to wait for an employee to come back to the front. Inventory and unpacked boxes up and down most of the aisles. All the employees are rude and none of their prices are right so you will be charged more and not even know. All the aisles are filthy and you have to look at expiration date before you buy anything because a lot of the food is out of date. This store should honestly be shut down, It’s run very poorly for such a small store.

The store looks like a hurricane hit it. Came through the door no one to be seen in the store. A guy mysteriously comes from the back and all of the sudden needed to put up merchandise where I was standing no excuse me or anything, I move out of his way and he then tells me he needed to go down the aisle where I had moved too. I will not go back into that store. What is happening that people don’t want to work, go home and let someone else work that want a job. Really sad!!!

This has to be the dirtiest, unorganized store I have ever been in. Begin the counter on the floor was disgusting. The isles were blocked with merchandise, you couldn’t even walk down some of the isles. It was plain to see no one takes pride in this store. A handicapped person could not maneuver around in this store. I will not go back.

The Five Stars are for the cashier Jasmine.I was coming to the area from three hours out for work. I needed some random items to finish up the day's tasks. I called the store, she answered and was willing to double-check for what I needed. I got up there, and she helped me find it too. This is the type of customer service DG should be known for.Thanks for the help Ma'am. Your work is why I'll shop there again if I'm in Crozet.

I understand why people hate this place so muchThe employees are idiots they have no idea of what’s going on around themBut we should cut them some slack because they completely failed life. They make less than 18 dollars an hour and they all have a crippling vaping addictionSo next time you complain about dollar general in Crozet keep in mind there life isn’t easy like yoursThey don’t get to drive there nice car to there nice big houseThey probably don’t even have a house they probably have to sleep in there car

Excellent door function. The front doors worked as intended. I was able to walk in and out of the store without much resistance. Although slightly heavier than most, I had to apply above average pressure to get the doors open. I shouldn't be forced to do physical labor if I dont wanna. But I guess it's for the best, as I could benefit from the added strength to my physical being. Thank you dollar general.

I love shopping at DG! It's convenient to get "fill in" items that will tide you over until you have to make the main shopping trip to the grocery store/Walmart (or where ever). I was not a regular DG shopper until I moved back to Virginia after being gone after 21 years. There are always pretty good bargains there!

My grandchildren LOVE shopping at this store! So, we masked up and they got to shop! They have a lot of inventory with FULL shelves. It is hard to maneuver a cart in the aisles but my grandbabies loved it!

Aisles were completely packed with carts of unstocked product. Items were layed precariously on top of aisles and made me feel unsafe. Alot of items where out of date by a couple months. Cashier seemed inexperienced and so did the manager. Both were unfriendly. I came in wanting a few things and all those things were out of date. Alot of items were empty on shelf and have been for weeks but can clearly be seen on top of aisles. Very poor experience.

The associates are very friendly and knowledgeable. Crystal always goes above and beyond. Bri ordered specifically what I needed and kept a close eye on it until the order came in. I love my home town DG!!

Budget items, personal and pleasure, for pets and kitchen, greeting cards and every manner of household cleaners. Small appliances and GREAT prices on a terrific variety of foods, from dairy to rice and beans. Some meats and bread also...most important, extremely kind and helpful customer service! Beer and wine bargains adequate for budget celebration and phone cards, tobacco, batteries...mmm, shop and save, your dollars stretch here.

They should just close this location cause its always chaotic in there and shelves are never stocked and gotta watch them on prices, shelves have one price but when they ring you up the price is higher.

They usually have what I need and the salespeople are nice, but they aren't hurting for business, so it wouldn't hurt DG to hire a few more cashiers so the wait is not as long!

Great store in Crozet Virginia. But...with the rapidly growing population and wealth in that community it would be a great location for a more modern and larger store to accommodate the patrons. The ,Dollar General Company would be wise in such a decision. Near by Charlottesville does not have any DG stores and would guarantee profitable for the company, as well as saving the consumer money.

The store is messy, I could even get in the isle i needed to because they had things piled in it. The service is slow...nobody is up front to help or only 1 cashier and the line is awful.

I stopped there this morning on my way to work yes it's a small store but this is actually my second visit here and the first time there was a blind haired laidy very polite stocking shellves the cashier came to help but they most definitely watched to see if a customer was ready to check out and the cashier he would imediatly give them the respect a customer should appreciate today there was only one lady black haired girl she would tentatively wait on her customers and as customers shopped she would be cleaning and stocking shellves near the register and kept a smile on hee face as she also converersed with customers .. I feel that anyone who wants to complain about nothing being stocked or the store cluttered should seriously consider a job there it's hard to find good help

Like the store. Parking is a pain and store is always cluttered. Hard to get carts up and down isles because of boxes and displays
