the cashiers at this Dollar General Store are terrific. They greet you as you come in the door. As you are walking around the store they ask if you need help with anything. Upon checking out they were very patient and courteous with me because i am new to use digital coupons as well as paper coupons. The cashier made me feel so comfortable and at ease by helping me and explaining the process to me. When i left that store i felt really good about the whole experience. I thanked her so much for her patience with me. Every since that day i have been driving the extra 10 miles out to go there instead of my local one.

Can’t get my money back.. The self check out charged me two weeks ago, twice for the same transaction at this location. I’ve been to this location in person, I even went to the Verona location in person trying to talk to managers but understandably told me they can’t do anything I have to call corporate. I’ve called corporate three times, The first time I was brushed off, Second time I was told to wait a day or two, third time I was told to wait until tomorrow still no refund now I have to call corporate again tomorrow. Dollar General charged me twice got their money plus more, and now I have to fight to get a charge that wasn’t supposed to be charged back on my card. I’ve never taken more than what I’ve paid for from Dollar General, but it seems they can take from me. I will never use self check out again, and I’ve told everyone that I know don’t use self check out if they charge you twice I don’t even know if you’ll get it back it seems I can’t.

My wife asked me to find a sewing kit on my way home. Then asked for safety pins. This was after 6 and was on my way home. Thought I would try here. The employ showed me several options and was very polite with a smile. Thank you I will be back.

For the convenience of not having to go 20 minutes in either direction of my house this Dollar General is great. It is generally clean and organized. There are actually a few really good finds here too. Prices are what you would expect for a Dollar Store.

The lady Angie working the cash register was absolutely rude. She was unaware that I was the owner of the dog she was bad mouthing. A customer at the register had said there's a dog outside barking. Than Angie(cashier) rudly and in a very ugly tone said "I don't know who's dog that is barking but its getting on my nerves, they should do something". For one dogs bark that's their voice, he was barking at another dog. He wasn't hurting anyone, I had windows in the back down half way and the ac on in front and car running, just in case the car was to cut off which it shouldn't...never has but just to be on safe side. I love my dog very much and don't greatly appreciate that comment..think it but keep it to yourself especially if you're an employee. That's how it goes, I work with public and bite my tongue constantly. ..that's life.

Found what we needed. It was a little tight with all the carts of freight in the aisles. Shelves appeared to be well stocked though. The one thing I would appreciate would be more than 1 register open when the line is wrapped around to the exit door.

I go there alot , usually it's a good place to shop but the manger that has the short blonde hair and glass is like a ticking time bomb.Ive been there on a few occasions where she was screaming and cussing at customers in front of the whole store.Today for example I was in there and man walked in and she started screaming "GET OUT GET OUT we have trespass papers on you". When the man asks are you talkin to me she finally looked up from behind a pallet of drinks and then says I'm sorry all I saw what's your shirt and I thought you were somebody else. I used to work in retail and one of the first things they taught us was that you were never to confront anybody inside the store in front of customers. Especially, calling them names and cussing in front of everybody because that can escalate the problem to dangerous levels.

I'm always going here since it's the closest store to my house. Other than it being extremely unorganized at times, the associates never fails to help you out and always treats you nicely.

We live a mile away, so coming here saves a lot of time compared to going into Waynesboro for groceries. DG has most of the groceries you tend to run out of (milk, eggs, sugar, flour, dog food), but doesn't carry any produce. Since it's a general store, there are loads of non-grocery items, too (diapers, clothing, household supplies, toys, movies, and lots more). They also sell ice.The staff is always friendly and helpful.There is a RedBox kiosk outside.

Every time I go in this place there's always a line of 5 or more people. Waiting time typically 10 plus minutes. I only go in when absolutely have to and make sure I have plenty of time.

This is a standard, albeit a bit small, Dollar General. We were camping nearby and were told this was the closest place to get hotdogs and buns. It was cluttered but your standard rural store.
