Multiple lanes are always open, very small, if any wait time. Almost all staff are super friendly. BEWARE, the manager special mark downs rarely scan at discount price. They place the sticker on top of the package, and the cashiers scan the original bar code on bottom. Wondering if this is planned?

Has a pretty good selection of veggies but you have to carefully examine everything. I've ended up with rotten potatoes and carrots in the bags/packages. Once the entire selection of bean sprouts they had out was expired by several days. Still, they have flan and mirin so they have that going for them.

Very clean store with very friendly staff.. by far this is one of the best food lions I have been to in a while.. grabbed a few steaks from the meat department and they are without a doubt some of the nicest ribeyes I have found in a while for the price.. highly recommend

Great staff. Love the people here. Their scallions are always so fresh, unlike the IGA in Hot Springs, who always has ancient, dry and half rotten ones for sale. Wth?

The store is conveniently located and the checkout time is quite short. You can get in and out of the store with little difficulty. The staff is friendly and helpful. However, there seems to be some difficulty in getting supplies into the store as empty shelves and racks are common here. Perhaps the trucks pass this store on their way to others in the chain?

You can't beat the meats here at any other local supermarket. The butcher is a nice guy as well.

I love Food Lion! This is the cleanest and neatest grocery store I have ever been in. They also have great produce. They have so much variety of everything. Everyone who works there is nice. This is not my first visit here not even close. I highly recommend this FoodLion to everyone!

If your in a hurry and just need to grab one or two items lots a breeze. If you aren't pressed for time and can browse current sales and promotions along with your mvp card your savings could really add up. Store is very clean with easy layout and aisles clearly marked. You will enjoy a friendly down home atmosphere while finding really good deals on all your favorite name brand food and produce

The store is very clean, the shelves are well stocked, the produce & meats are fresh. The clerk's are always very pleasant. The prices are fair & the sales are spot on!The only problem I've encountered is trying to call customer service and the meat department. The phones rang 15- 30+ times & then went to a busy signal, which is frustrating!!

So thankful to have this recently remodeled store in our area. The produce is always fresh and top quality. The cheese selection is the best in the area. In the deli area they also have a wing bar. The shelves are always fully stocked, unlike the competitors in the area. The staff is always courteous and willing to help. The wine selection is absolutely FANTASTIC! They constantly bring in new wines. There is a build your own 6 pack with craft beers. Great store, great staff, thankful for both!

The cashier's are always super nice and all the employee are always very helpful. Employees are always ready to give you a smile 😊 Very very clean store with excellent produce that when you get home you never find I rotten. Great place to shop. Walmart has nothing on Food Lion.

This is where I do most of my grocery shopping. The store is clean and well stocked with just about everything you might want. The staff is always friendly and they're really helpful when you have trouble finding what you're looking for.

Our home town food Lion has most everything I need at a very good price. I don't have to walk the length of a football field to get a gallon of milk and the people who work there are help helpful and friendly. I go to this store at least three times a week. I count on getting what I need and the best service. And they have never let me down.

We bought $350 worth of groceries for $269 so I’m very happy about that. Lol. I felt bad for the poor girl because I pulled up with two carts full of groceries, but she was FAST. I was very impressed. Wished I had caught her name. 5 stars everyday here♥️

Rating this Food Lion is a challenge.... it is food lion... just like all the other food lions. It was clean. The staff was curtious. You are able to get your staples without a problem. Don't go expecting anything fancy, but you'll find what you need to fill the pantry for the week. Food Lion is what you need sometimes.

The location is convenient. I can run in and out fairly quickly. I love their produce it is always fresh and they have a good assortment of fruits and vegetables to pick from. I love the fresh baked goods and deli. The freshly cooked chicken wings and whole chickens are delicious. The employees are helpful and very friendly. Always a good experience to shop at foodlion and that says alot because I don't like to shop.

Great place! Fresh fruits and vegetables that are not rotten. Always cashiers ready to check you out and not much of a wait. They have no self checkouts which is nice because it's nice to talk to the cashier and see them smiling and makes my day better. Thank you Covington Foodlion for being such a great place.

Always a pleasent experience. Love there fresh foods. They were very busy due to the impending storm headed our way, but the staff was pleasent, worked hard to meet our needs and get us checked out quick as possible.

I called up to there too see if they had my daughters formula not only did the dude not look to see if they had it all he could tell me he had was one in a blue can. Couldn’t even tell me what kind was in the blue can. Thanks for your lazy service.

A spectacular lady named, Anna, from the deli @ the Cov. VA store, went above and beyond to help me. I'm a young/old at 51 and have some disabilities and she took the time to answer questions I had about several different products OK in including rotissierre chicken, ham, turkey. Then, she came from behind the counter and helped find things, made wonderful suggestions and also helped me w/things I could not see. Yes, Anna, is a terrific Food Lion employee but she really does need to be acknowledged for what a kind person she is. I know she cares and appreciates her job but helping her customers and making them feel special seems to be her first priority! Trust me, I have spread the word (of course some already know Anna) but she will definitely be a good reason that customers keep coming to Food Lion! However, I must mention, this Food Lion store is full of amazing employees. You guys are doing something right!!! It has been recently renovated and I love the layout. Food Lion has always had an amazing fresh vegetable selection and has been able to request and receive specialty items.

First place I found Tillamook ice cream and being on sale I tried a favorite, peaches and cream. This was not a hint of peaches but tasted much like an unknown chemical. Food Lion, I hope you will join me and trash this garbage, for that extra star.
