I was driving from MN to VA when several lights on my dashboard came on just outside Covington, VA. I was concerned about a possible transmission issue, so I stayed in Covington and was at Dave's Auto Repair the next morning. I explained the situation, and my car was inside the garage no more than 5 minutes later.They were so friendly, helpful, and accommodating (I was traveling with a cat and dog too - I was able to sit in the office with my dog while they looked at the car). They were able to diagnose the issue and got me back on the road within an hour.I feel SO fortunate to have found a garage with nice folks to help me, especially when traveling such a long distance and getting "stuck" in an unfamiliar area. I can't thank them enough.

The people at the shop was friendly, but the services that I requested was not completed. My oil was changed, but it I requested new wiper blades all the way around and that my tires be rotated. Upon getting home I realize my wipers blades had not been changed. The two tires that had the most tread were both put on the driver side.When I take a car to be serviced it is important to have someone I can trust, therefore I will no longer use this shop.Services: Wiper blade installation, Auto maintenance, Oil change

HONEST PEOPLE, DOING GOOD WORK!!!We had a 08 Grand Caravan that we had the cooling fan replaced in Florida and was covered by Tec Net Warranty but they failed in Covington Va. We thought it would be covered but we had put 27,000 miles since the change. Warranty covers 24,000 miles. Dave price was very responsible anyway. They called back an hour later and had got the part covered and refunded the part!!!!

Dave was generous enough to squeeze us in since we were in a jam, i.e. hauling a fifth-wheel to our campsite and our brakes were grinding. Nice people, fair prices. Overall good experience in difficult circumstances.

This shop was recommended to me and was told the owner really cares. I have been here twice now and they have made me feel like family. As a female, I worry about being over charged or told my car needs repair that it does not. That is not the case here. They are honest and prices are very reasonable.
