I stopped for a look at their wind chimes.The ones they sell, Corinthian Bells, have the most amazing tones that carry on the wind clear and resonating for unbelievably long drawn out never ending notes.They sell locally manufactured sauces and sausages that can't be found anywhere else.Very quick service with a smile.They have a Coke Cola bottle in a painting that looks like an advertisement......Don't be fooled. There is no Coke Cola sold here.This is a wonderful place to peruse.

So I got this awesome tree and the guys sawed it cut branches and tied it to my voloster and it withstood the ride to norfolk at 70 mph. It was great! Look it! It's so amazing and beautiful! So were the local sold snacks! Great "why not" stop. Love it! Thanks again guys for all your help especially the gentleman running the tree area, he was helpful and kind and I couldn't have got the tree home without his help.

Have stopped by many times on the way to Va. Beach. Today I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and one of her daughters. Great conversation and had plenty in common. Go Hornets and Go Hokies. Always a pleasure stopping at the lovely roadside market on my way to and from Virginia Beach. You can get everything from ready-made meals to homemade bakery treats, snacks, candies and seasonal decor. There's produce and dairy, jams/jellies, smoked meats and occasional seafood. And if you hit it just right, they can make you a fresh pulled pork sandwich.

Love love love the staff here! Super cute! Awesome lunch spot! Very homely and family friendly, I was greeted by the owners after purchasing a chuck wagon sandwich. They were the most wonderful people to talk to. The chuck wagon could have been fried a little harder but still good. it was totally worth the visit.

The store is the quintessential farm market with fresh produce, unique snacks and the best corn on the cob you will find. The mixed corn (yellow and white) is so sweet you don't need to put butter on it. Their cantaloupes are very sweet. I find their prices to be far better than the grocery store for the same items. Also they have steamed crab legs and shrimp! Weekends are extremely busy so go early in the morning to beat the crowd. Today they have cantalope and tomatoes straight from the farm. Friday ia also catfish Friday starting at 11 AM. I have tried the fresh shrimp since my last visit. The shrimp are a great value. The size, taste and cost are well worth the trip. My granddaughter can't get enough of the corn on the cob.

Lovely place to shop and enjoy the view. The Ladies who work there were so friendly and helpful. You felt at home not rushed to get out. I even picked up a pork bone for my dog to chew on our 3 hour drive home.This was my first time visiting this store. I was traveling with my Niece who said it was great place to visit. She bought a plant and treats for her boys and bottled soda. We spent about 30 minutes browsing and some $$. It really is a nice stop to break up a trip and stretch your legs. They also had a place inside to order food and sit down to eat. A wide variety of country food,meats,vegetable.fruits,drinks snacks,gifts etc

Best country store in the county. Locally made goods from jams to BBQ sauce. Hand made cutting boards are awesome and the owners are friendly just the way you would imagine good country folk would be. If you haven't been you're missing out.

I live in Florida and travel back to Norfolk by car once a year. I always stop here and have a country ham and fresh tomato and mayo sandwich. Can't get a decent country ham or a decent tomato in Tampa. That is one of the simplest but best sandwiches I have ever enjoyed. Already looking forward to next year's trip! Also stock up on Virginia peanuts. Love the people and the store.

This place is awesomeYou know when you come there the staff will treat you right. And for some odd reason you feel like you were treated bad, I'm pretty sure the owner would want to know. What I love about it most is country side, fresh veggies, eggs, fresh made soups, beans even homemade meatloaf. Wow really to much to list....The food is fresh and delicious. My first stop there and I loved it. Would've stayed longer but dogs and husband in the car. I got steamed NC shrimp, driedbeans, peanuts, and kicking myself for not buying a garden ornament,(live about 3 hours away). Shrimp were great, pretzels, raspberry mustard dipping sauce.....

Went for fresh veggies. No choices of said items. The only veggie for sale was pumpkins, all shapes and sizes. Also had a meager selection of fresh fruit. I don't think its worth traveling 30 minutes to get there and finding no real selection at a farmers market
