My sweet cat I have had for 12 years started itching very badly. I took her to another veterinarian for opinion and she was wrongly diagnosed with allergic dermatitis and placed on steroids; I knew I did not want my pet on steroids and wanted answers as to why she was itching. The answer was actually pretty simple-fleas! Dr Leonard was able to diagnose her quickly and get her on the right treatment course. She will be my choice for veterinary care and I’m so glad we found her!

Dr. Leonard has been our veterinarian for about 16 years. She has provided excellent care to all of our animals including end of life senior animal care and making the difficult decision to let go. I feel that she cares for our family as a friend and for our pets as if they were her own. Dr. Leonard will give you, the customer, the options and her opinion to guide you in making sometimes expensive decisions for the care of your pet. She will not hesitate to make referrals to other vets if an illness falls outside of her level of expertise, such as in some advanced surgical procedures and cancer treatment. She has helped us to learn Reiki and when she does it, she does not announce "I am now doing Reiki to relax your pet during the examination", she just does it. We love Dr. Leonard and feel comfortable trusting her advice regarding the well being of of dogs and cats. We use many homeopathic products, and some do work better than others, but I like using natural ingredients that are not poisoning me or my pet.
