Parking lot is an old design filled with people not paying attention. The store is better stocked than others near by. Clean, easy to navigate with quick check out times.Also, this location has smoked turkey. The whole reason I drove out to this one.

If you go here I hope you clear your schedule for 7 days-1 month. Self checkout was closed and the entire store was piling into 3 lanes. I’ve never seen a cashier move so slow in my life. Strong possibility she was actually living in slow motion if I had to guess. I never believed America had an over population issue until visiting this establishment.

2 people working money center took 45 minutes just to get to the front for them to not accept card so I go to the ATM pay three dollars to pull the cash off. I go to pay the bill that I needed to pay mind you there are two people and one of the bills I came out of the ATM has some dark colored I guess ink she’s gonna tell me she can’t accept that dollar bill, so they cancel my entire transaction. Mind you I wasted 45 minutes in line when there’s two of them there and only one is working. This store is gone so far downhill. It’s sad when the one on crater Road has better customer service and is better equipped with everything than this one.

It I'd 1030 pm. The self checkouts on the grocery side is closed but the line is extremely long for the other side thirty minute wait and no cashiers available to run a register. Where is the customer service. One lady only wanted to get pull-ups for her child

Self checkouts were closed & roped off. Very long checkout lines! No employees around to ring you up at a register. They should open more lines to get customers through faster. Makes no sense

3 registers open, half the 'self-checkouts' were closed, and one was for delivery drivers only.I left my groceries and walked out. Yes, I wasted my time by walking out. BUT, I had invested only 10 minutes shopping and stood in line for 10 minutes more before giving up. As there were still 20 people ahead of me! Then I was accosted at the door wanting my receipt! (Which, by the way, is illegal. You are not required to surrender your receipt. They would need a search warrant for that.) I am over Wally World!

Third time ordering pick up and having to sit for almost half an hour before my order is brought out to me. Chesterfield Walmart always ready when they say it’s ready for pick up but Colonial Heights is slow as molasses

Absolutely the worst walmart I have ever been too. Customer service is trash. And the Manger we dealt with was also garbage. She had her name tag turned so we could not get her name. 🙄 all we did was return something they sold that did not work.. a whole return ruined this women's day apparently..

The Bakery was a great experience! We came in and got a ready made cake and the person working counter was friendly and wrote on the cake for us in the color we asked for! Awesome job!

The worst customer service in a long time. Ordered 8 items online for pickup, only 7 items in there when we got home. Called for four hours no one answers any extension. Filed complaint online. Have to wait 5 days for refund to card. Ordered and paid online for same item again the very next day and checked in with color and # of parking. Waited over a half hour, still no answer today at the store. Online chat confirmed we are checked in and still no one. I gave a second chance and still terrible service. I do not suggest ordering anything from this location.

Walmart colonial Heights VADon't order from the bakery! I ordered a cake and 24 cupcakes on Saturday. Thursday 24 hours before I was supposed to pick up my order they tell me they are canceling the order because they don't have a decorator. now I don't even have time to reorder anywhere else. the customer service was also horrible.RIDICULOUS!!!!

Congestion getting in parking area!Difficult to find plenty of handicapped spaces! Found non handicap people parked in handicapped areas!To much traffic ,not enough courtesy of letting pedestrians cross to get in store!Find after purchasing your stuff ,employeesInsist on going through your bags S if you are a common criminal!Most people do not realize you do not have to allow them to search your bags once you come out of purchasing line!I refused to let them check my bag after paying,the attendant followed me to my car and proceeded to look through my car!Illegal to do so!!Know your rights!One insisted for me to open my trunk;Illegal search...

I’ve been here over a 45 minutes to pick up my order with in this time I’ve only seen 6 people get their orders. Where are the people who are supposed to be working? They let you know your order is ready to be picked up and they can’t have the people to bring them out to you with in a descend time frame. They won’t let you go inside to get here at Christmas. If they can’t do any better than this they need to stop this curbside pick or get enough people to handle the orders. I don’t know how much longer it’s going to take but I won’t do this again. I could have gone in and got what I need and get out and leave before I get my order.

The long wait for the curbside pick up on 11/23/2023 was very ridiculous. We received a notification that our grocery order was ready for pick up. We arrived near the beginning of the expected time range for pickup. After properly checking in, we waited for over an hour. At that point I went in to visit customer service to find 5 employees in uniform standing around talking. A young man asked if he could help me. I explained to him the situation. He promptly got a person to assist from the curbside section/ department. I went back out to my car and waited. While waiting, another customer was getting out of her car. She was stating that she had been waiting for two hours! By the time we received our order we had been there for 1.5 hours! This is unacceptable service. Please fix this!!!!!

Ordered my groceries for pick up at 5pm. I got paid and desperately needed food. It's now almost midnight with no sign of our order. The app told us it was ready at 4:49pm. They told us twice that they were working on it. 7 hours we've been waiting for our goceries.

I know it’s Walmart so I shouldn’t expect much but wow. This store is dirty and the checkout lines are a nightmare! Usually the self checkout line goes through the clothing! I will never return! They have lost a customer.Edit: I was in desperate need of produce and thought strawberries sounded appetizing. Well I thought wrong and nearly regurgitated as I scanned through and saw MOLD! Is it hard to check produce daily to make sure there’s not rotten fruits!? Not one container held quality strawberries and on top of that there was no eye pleasing order to the containers, just thrown around like a toddler organized the station. I am disgusted with you Walmart.

The self checkout is usually all that's open besides 1 MAYBE 2 registers. Self checkout is usually backed up pretty far around peak times. I only go here if I absolutely have to.

Horrible experience. Paid $588 for a set of tires, the technician broke my tire sensor and lied about it. After arguing my point my sensor was replaced but I still needed to take it to a mechanic and have it activated!Throughout this process Walmart “team leads” advised me to file a claim, get car fixed and bring my receipt to customer service for my refund.I brought the receipt back to the store as instructed only to be told the store can’t reimburse me because I have an active claim! Now I’m being told to contact claims for my $80 refund! This has been the worst experience and Walmart TLE has truly lost my business!

I wish people would be more patient with the Walmart curb-side employees..they try to get orders out as fast as they can and most of them are young people…we need to be more courteous of their feelings…none of us are perfect…you guys are doing an outstanding job…God bless!!!

Had an awful experience with the Pharmacy Department at the Colonial Heights VA store! Had to get medicine for my daughter and one of the items I needed is kept behind the pharmacy counter and you have to show ID for it so I went and grabbed a few other things first then went to the pharmacy to get the medicine and I asked the cashier if I could pay for all my items there and she said only if I had 5 items or less and I had 6 so she said she couldn’t do it and my mother in law said she would pay for one of my items so I would only have 5 then the cashier said she couldn’t ring up my items because I wasn’t picking up a prescription! But one of the items I needed was behind the pharmacy counter so she was already waiting on me so I had to get the medicine and then go stand in line again up front! I will never ever buy medication from that pharmacy again

I’ve been waiting on my order pick up for so long I had food DoorDashed to me in the parking lot. You guys truly suck so bad I’m never coming back.UPDATE1: yet another order pick up issue where I was given someone else’s orderUPDATE2: waited over 45 minutes at 930am IN AN EMPTY STORE for help getting a pair of headphones out of a locked case.. spoke to 3 different associates.. no help.. left without getting anything at all.. again.. it sucks here

WALMART CUSTOMER SERVICE ABSOLUTELY SUCKS! NEVER GOT COLOGNE BECAUSE THE GLASS DOOR WAS LOCKED AND BEEN WAITING ON CUSTOMER SERVICE TO OPEN IT FOR OVER 2 HOURS. Why even have a curbside pickup option if you aren't going to have anyone actually working in that department? There are multiple people waiting alongside us that have been here over 2 hours waiting. This is just ridiculous at this point. Multiple people had to go inside to complain before they would even start bringing out orders. What is going on at this location?
