I wanted to grab a new 2tb my next trip and I grabbed a box of disappointment. Just 'order online' is what I took away from today's experience.Pros:- Excellent source for prints and posters with impressive quality.- Convenient extended hours for those needing services.- Consistently good customer service.- Quick and efficient online ordering and pickup system.Cons:- Frustrating experience with in-store shopping for tech products.- Empty boxes on shelves, but no actual stock available.- Wasted time waiting for staff to check the back instead of accurate inventory management.- Deceptive appearance of available items due to display boxes.- Found a cheaper and faster option online for the same product.It's unfortunate when brick-and-mortar stores fall short in certain areas, especially when online alternatives are more efficient.Give this a 👍🏼 if helpful to you and others

This store is going downhill fast. Come in and 5 out of 6 printing stations are down. Then requested assistance to purchase a laptop, printer, and cable, cashier who obviously didn't want to be there eventually asked for assistance.... NONE CAME.The only person stepping up and giving it his all was Andre. However, he can't be everywhere at once.Oh well, $$$ lost on them, I'll go elsewhere

Went in on Sat with a pre-paid UPS shipment. There were 2 employees for what appeared to be the whole store. Only one of them knew how to do a scan for UPS and he had to help all the people waiting for printing, so with a 20-30 min wait ahead of me, I left. This is a corporate problem. Pay people more and get more staff.

Spent ten minutes on hold for the print department only to be automatically transferred to I guess the front. Tried to ask a simple question about how to go about simply printing a regular photo for the lady to cut me off to try and put me back through to the print department so I could spend another ten minutes on hold for a department that won't answer the phone 🤡

A very convenient place to get things done. Need office supplies? ✔ Need things printed?✔ Need to ship merchandise? ✔ The cashiers always greet you when you walk in but the other employees seem busy with stocking to say hello or check in with you. Sometimes you have to track someone down for assistance but overall that won't stop me from shopping here.

Today was my very first experience using this staples location and all I can say is WOW 🤩 Megan is a rockstar! Megan went above and beyond to help me and make sure everything was perfect! She was extremely knowledgeable and more importantly kind! As I was getting ready to check out I had the pleasure of meeting with Laura! She made me feel so very welcomed as she shared with me all about the Colonial Heights Staples new renovation and ribbon 🎀 cutting happening this week. I could truly see she loves being apart of the Staples family here in Colonial Heights! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It took a long while to get acknowledged. It clearly appeared as if I was being avoided. When presenting my printing project, it was explained to me on more than one occasion that I could do it myself and it would be cheaper. The store associate assisting me had to be summons away from another associate, having casual conversation. The total experience was FRIGID. I in the future I would seek alternatives. I wouldn't recommend or discourage. It could've been the staff or the day. I believe in second chances. I would like to think I'm a fair person.

Actually went into Staples to send a package back to Old Navy. I had no idea Staples was a location for returning items to Old Navy.You start the return at home, then a QR code is emailed to you. Once you get to Staples you go to the department where returns are processed. The clerk asks for and scans the QR code, takes the return, prints out a label for it and gives you a receipt for the returned item.The whole process takes less than 10 minutes.I highly recommend going to Staples for all your office supplies, envelopes, folders, etc and you are able to return products from several other stores..

I found a great printer for at home use. The price was reasonable & the ink cartridges were priced very reasonable as well. The customer service from the technology department was outstanding

Came here for an online print service pick-up. They did a nice job printing the poster however it took them a while to acknowledge me in the print center and I didn’t expect that my poster would be rolled up; I guess I assumed they would print the poster and that would be it not roll it and place a rubber band around it..

Had to make copies of guest maps while waiting for our shipment to come in and was in store about every week to two weeks. Usually spent around $70, until the last time when I paid nearly double for the exact same amount of copies I've always gotten. There was no resolution when I raised the concern that it was the same order but double priced. Poor customer service. I will not return to this store.

Don't go here to have your stuff printed if at all possible. The staff are extremely incompetent, and sometimes intentionally unhelpful. Try Officemax or another different printshop.

Greeted by staff at door, down aisles and at register area when done shopping. Store was neat, clean and well merchandised. New signing for "new items" was kind of cool, drawing your attention to those displays. Manager engaged me with personality-not because he had to.

Had 15 minutes to buy a computer chair for my studio. A sales person arrived quickly to the chair section. I had settled between 2. He offered a price match I was not aware of on one of the chairs. Sold! He carried box to counter and then loaded it. I will return.

I love this store. I shop here all the time. The cashiers are friendly & so are the managers. I took my computer to have it checked out. I told him what I suspected was wrong & he said I was right without charging me the $75 fee. I have had several orders sent to the store & so far I haven't had any problems. I recommend Staples to my friends & family.

I had to visit here to pick up some faxed forms and 12 sheets only cost me $5.00. They have excellent prices and great products. Very clean store. Helpful employees. I will be going back. Covid restrictions are in place.

Average experience and lacking in customer service. I came into the store and am the first customer for self service right as the door opens. All network servers are of course not working for self help or haven't been rebooted so I ask the woman for assistance. At which time a couple customers come after me. She proceeds to help them and not me for another 10 minutes telling me to wait as she helps everyone else. After helping three customers she says now what can I help you with. I tell her I need to make a couple copies. She then makes excuses why the 4 copiers don't work and how them being serviced is a low priority ect ect. Truth be told I don't need to know an excuse as a customer I just want to know if I can make copies. A better way to handle situations when your systems aren't working or you have yet to turn them on is simply by saying let me help you over here or I'll fix that for you and get it taken care of. When you degrade the capability of your tech folks to service equipment it looks bad to your entire store. It's poor taste. Secondly, help customers in the order they come in.

Looking to buy a laptop and they were so helpful and informative. They were out of stock on the one I chose and Dan (store mgr) offered to pick it up at another store on his way to work!! Thats service. Steve set up the computer and was great to work with!! Love this store!!

Customer service starts from the top down. I witnessed the manager, Laura, talk down to employees and then made a facial gesture to a customer regarding the employee. I was blown away. When she made eye contact with me, realizing that I saw the entire incident she called another cashier to assist. This experience was disgusting to me. And I really feel sorry for the employees working under her.

I went in to buy a laptop and I explained to the salesman that I was going to use laptop for school and I didn't need all the bells and whistles. My primary concern was to be able to organize my notes. He said he didn't have anything and he couldn't help me. He didn't ask any investing questions, he didn't attempt to show me a basic model. Terrible. Hiring a warm body isn't the same as having a salesman. Staples would be better off being self serve.

I go here for school supplies. Everyone seems pretty helpful and friendly. Kind of pricey for other goods. I don't see why it is so low rated. My mom prints stuff all the time here in a timely manner.
