Let me start with this is against Rite Aid in general, not the employees at the store. I have found the employees to be efficient and kind. That being said, I recently purchased something to which I had an allergic reaction. I could not find my receipt but did have proof of purchase on my credit card. I called ahead of time to check the return policy and was told, sure, come on in and we’ll take care of you. Except they didn’t. They received something from a partnering agent that denied the request because I didn’t have the original receipt. I called the ‘partnering agent’ on the phone and spoke to the rudest, most condescending woman who told me with no receipt, too bad so sad. Even though I had proof of purchase from my transaction, too bad. Then I called Rite Aid corporate. Same story, no receipt with bar code, too bad. Bottom line, worst customer service ever. Do not shop at Rite Aid. I know I never will again. I hope they go bankrupt.

So who's my doctors.what am I taking now and why? Only response I got was not on my store? What did I do? I'm polite as I can be but that response wasn't expected at all and why was I treated like trash from the street. I'd really like to know what I did wrong

Very positive experience. I have visited both for medicine and for the Covid19 test and both times the service has been great. I got my results within 48 hours and although that isn't always the case I was delighted to have such a quick result. As for the service it's very professional as they only monitor you as you insert the swab into your own nose. It's still uncomfortable but it is a little less invasive. As for the customer service on the phone and on the counter it's outstanding. Definitely recommend it.

Not sure whats happening with the pharmacy, booked my COVID-19 booster shot here and was told I am ineligible despite being approved online and scheduled. This is my hometown area, but now I live about 50 miles round trip from this store, so it was a waste of time! Simple call would have solved that. I’m actually eligible too but they were too busy rushing me off for the next appointment to listen to me.It just got downright embarassing when the “floating” pharmacist Dr. Wang ___ (no last name given by phone) broke all confidentiality by coming out to the pharmacy waiting area in front of everyone to tell me I am ineligible for the shot. This was after waiting 40 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional, really wish that actual healthcare was affordable in our country so I don’t have to get dissed in a retail store area instead of just calling before my appointment to explain the issue? Its sad too bc everyone else was friendly the first two shots I received.I booked my booster shot elsewhere. Going to CVS in my neighborhood and saving all this drama, lesson learned that you can never go home!

I don’t know what these other reviews are talking about, but mine is for the pharmacy. I found the entire staff to be knowledgeable and friendly. They knew their stuff and worked to find me medicine and machines that my insurance carrier would take and was great when I had questions. This pharmacy is incredible with their customer service and is why they just won me over as a permanent customer.

The pharmacist Sarina and tech Kevin at the Colonial Heights, Virginia Rite Aid are so friendly and helpful. TriCare had implemented a new policy regarding certain maintenance medications. TriCare only made 1 mistake, they forgot to notify some of us who rely on 1 of these maintenance medications. Having filled the initial script, I assumed they would be allowed to refill said medication. Well, that was my first mistake. Lol When I was left to need a new hard copy, send it to Xpress scripts to refill by mail, and had ZERO tablets until such time I received the refill in the mail: these guys stepped in to help me solve the problem!! They are always smiling, always informative, always professional and helpful. I am forever grateful to them!

Currently been in line in the drive thru pharmacy for a good thirty minutes. Boxed in by the other people slowly losing their minds and can't leave. Send water and food, seems like we are all here for the long haul.

Aravind Kasireddy is a wonderful pharmasist. He is kind, thoughtful, and very helpful. He has helped me in the past clarifying perscriptions and helping to contain costs. He is an expert at giving shots.
