OMG… what has happened to your store? Made a visit a couple of days ago and I have never seen such dirty floors, merchandise all over everywhere, so many things in the isles, that could be a fall hazard or someone could really hurt themselves. I think this place needs to have a major policing cleanup job done as soon as possible. I have shopped this store many times and have never seen the condition that this had been in as it was most recently. Managers and assistant managers come together with your staff and see what you can do. Customers are not going to keep shopping in your store if things don’t improve.

Store is much better now that it has been remodeled. It does not look as dirty. The associates that work there now are much nicer and do not act like you are an inconvience to them because you need to be rung up. It is refreshing to go in and see smiling faces and people that want to help you. I know that there is a new manager so if that is the driving force of a better shopping experience, they need a raise!

I've shopped at this location several times and at this point I can say it is a well maintain and organized store. You can push a cart through every aisle and not have to worry about maneuvering through anything. The items are stock front face as they should be and they have plenty of products in the store. The employees are on their job. Well done!

Hat priced 5$ cost me 9dollars, space savers was supposed to be 1$ each was 5$,the coffee was supposed to be 5.95 cost me 7.95, the sugar was supposed be 2.50 but cost 2.65,and the creamer was supposed to be 2for 4 but cost 8.70 .yall need to get prices right or I won't be returning. I mentioned to the cashier he said people put things in the wrong place all the time. I didn't see a manager feel like I got robbed at this store.

This was my first time going in here and it was trashed. The employees are very ignorant. They were at the cash register degrading customers, cussing, and one on her cellphone. That was not good customer service. If you do not like what you do then I highly suggest finding another job. I will never go in this store again. Hope the employees can learn how to be more professional.

You get a mixed bag of friendly and disrespectful staff. You never know what you're going to get.The place is mildly clean. I don't feel like a rat in New York City when I shop there.Prices are a little high for a "Dollar" General, but they have a wide variety of items and you can pretty much find whatever it is you're looking for.

My son & grandson & really enjoyed. Son said Poboy sauce hot brought a sweat to his brow!! Grandson Jake comment was beat sweet tea not too sweet & crispy warm hush puppies he loved 😊 Service good but be prepared to pay $1.50 for any add ins, even lettuce & tomato🤔 But just lunching with son & grandson made my day 🤗

Got everything I was looking for. Good selection of items, and of course it's at good prices (cuz, ya know, it's a DG). The quality is up for debate, but eh. You get what you're willing and able to pay for, so *shrug*. I'm happy with them.There is handicap accessible entrances, I don't know about the bathrooms however, as I have never used them.Its clean, and probably the best organized out of all the DGs I've been in. It was a little cluttered when I went in, but that was mainly due to the fact that it was late and around restock time.

Rude and disgusting inside. I waited in line for 15 minutes in front of someone who had weed on them. It was so strong I felt like I would fail a drug test lol. The staff had friends there and didnt greet me or anything while checking me out. She was just talking to her friend the whole time.

If you're a cashier here you really shouldn't make comments to the customer about "cheap products" they sell vs your $40 version from another store that you use. Some of us choose to spend our money a bit more wisely.

It's always a mess in there. There's always only 1 person at the register and a long line when they have other people working there just stocking things around the store instead of helping the cashier with the line. I had a issue there where their heavy door somehow snagged my big toe and it started bleeding everywhere in the store and it might of needed stitches and the manager here on the Colonial Heights store gave me some paper work and told me to go to Southside Regional and the Dollar General company wud pay for any stitches or medical needs bc this happened in their store and on accident. Well come to find out they decide later that they won't pay the hospital bill and now because of what that moron of a manager told me I'm in debt! Thanks a lot Dollar General! I've never shopped at your stores since then and you couldn't pay me to!

It's an okay store. Selection of things is minimal, floors were rather cluttered, and the employees were very inappropriate (and loud) considering that kids were in a store. I shouldn't be able to hear f-bombs from the back of the store.Could have rated lower due to employees, but am rating strictly on the store it's self.

Every since the change of staff, the store has been much nicer (cleaner) and the new staff is very helpful and polite.

My experience use to be good up until about 2-3 months ago.. Im use to seeing good vibes in this store especially with that asistant manager I think name sahara .. She is very nice, make you feel welcome... But now theres this young boy.. I mean man that I was told is the manager now.. He isnt very nice towards his employees.. Over heard him talking about one with a disability and one thats a single parent .. I was offended when i heard him.. I am really shock on his actions and he supposed to be a manager..who did the hiring? On top of that he laughs about everything.. Even if he's out of a product! I don't think ill be coming back to this dollar General and I hope that those employees are okay working with someone like him. I mean who knows what else he says to them or treats them when im not shopping in there..after shopping there for years i will not return on the count of the disrespect THAT manger shows..Sincerely a concerned customer..

This store is rough around the edges, feet are always sticky on the floor, depending on who is there to help you, you may get good customer service, you may not. Shelves stay full, one good thing.

Just went there tonight at 8:59.. No store hours posted and Adrian or whoever got nansty following me and my wife up the aisles saying we are closed... I then reminded her that no store hours were posted..And when I looked on line every Dollar General closes at 10:00.... Never again will I shop this store.. Very unprofessional and cranky attitudes...

Was led to believe they close at 10 based off of Google. I showed up at 9:31 to find their door was locked and there was no one on duty inside. All the lights were even on. That’s kind of ridiculous.
