I *love* my local Dollar General. It's always well stocked and organized and clean. They're almost never out of something. The associates are all very helpful if I can't find anything. Everything is clearly priced. Can't complain.

I've been to plenty of dollar generals and this one had got to be my favorite! They make it their mission to go out of their way to acknowledge you and see if you need help. It's always organized and clean plus the workers know exactly where everything is and you dont get the "well it WAS here yesterday" response.

Um i had a weird experience to say the least.So there was nothing wrong with the layout or anything but it felt almost surreal almost like i wasn’t really there I can’t explain why it felt surreal it just was, i really cant explain it thanks for reading this.

Nice variety of things to choose from here, and nice staff as well. I plan on doing a little Christmas shopping.They also have a great selection of groceries as well for good prices if you're short on cash.

Best idea to put a Dollar General in Oak Grove! Most Everyone there is small town friendly and helpful but there's usually 1 that just has that personality/attitude that shouldn't be working with the public.

Product availability is decent, but the cheapness and miserly conduct of the corporation itself is on plain display in every aspect of these stores.I've rarely seen a store or chain more firmly committed to the cheap answers to everything, even when they're ineffective, insufficient or ethically questionable.You'll get inexpensive stuff here, but you'll be supporting a company that's literally too cheap to spend even trivial amounts of money on its own store maintenance requirements. The employees are often required by necessity to either fix broken. toilets and holes in rooves themselves, work around dereliction as best they can or be prepared to have to beg and plead the corporate budget handlers for months on end for budget allowances to hire appropriate service providers to fix such things.While I realize that businesses are in the business of generating profit, I find it impossible to respect a business that's too shortsighted and greedy to afford basic maintenance without employees having to go to war to convince corporate of why certain problems, such as a hole in the roof of a store, isn't ok or something they can just suck it up and deal with while shrugging off the very real possibility of such things resulting in customer injury and lawsuits with reasoning such as 'our customers aren't the types that can afford lawyers to sue anyone with anyway'.Do your business here if you like or need, but don't expect much from this company apart from a singleminded commitment to figuring out how to spend as close to nothing on operations as possible, even when that means neglecting essentials.

This store has it going on! Clean and organized is a must in retail and this store pulls it off. Montross store should take note by a shining example of good management.

The Dollar General in Oak Grove is clean and pleasant workers. Nothing like the one in Montross, I will never go back to that Dollar General again, too nasty.

This is by far the cleanest Dollar General I've ever been in. The staff at the Oak Grove store has really been taught well by the manager of the store and it shows.
