I work late and had go grab eggs and milk for my grandson. While I checked out at 15 mins before closing. The cashier and girl bagging started making comments that someone walked in 15 mins before they closed right in front of me I was already checking out but this isn’t a way for someone to feel welcome to shop up till closing at their store I can imagine what they said when I came in at 10:30 to get the few things I purchased

If you know what every generic hometown grocery store is then you've basically been here. I can say they do it well, meat department is above average. Friendly atmosphere, quality customer service.They do seem perpetually low staffed, but who isn't these days, also I'm only there once a week so what do I know.

It's as good as it gets for around here for sure! And probably better prices than priceless they charge three 10cent sales taxes on every dollar/item! When Virginia only has a 9% sales tax I believe anyways on the dollar! that's alot of extra money there taking so food city coeburn definitely is the superior option.

Can usually find everything you need here although their prices are atrocious. Their prices are way higher than Walmart. I really only go here to avoid making the much longer drive to Walmart and avoid the crowds. Aside from that, there are really no benefits to go in here. Their selection is smaller and their prices are higher. But at least you don't have to use the self-checkout.

Mona was awesome. And she sure knows her stuff and how to cook as well. The best stuffed pepper I ever had. The mashed potatoes was amazing. And the corn was great. Reminded me of my grandmas cooking. Stop by the deli at Food City. You will not be disappointed!

Moved here from Oklahoma city this month and was surprised to have my groceries being packed, been years since we've had that kind of service. Very polite workers and clean, organized products. Thanks for being GREAT

Hate their prices unless it is midnight madness. Have bought 2 rotisserie chickens from there that we're both Bloody inside. Did offer my money back. Definitely need more help on the cash registers. However they do normally have a big selection of about anything you need.

Food City in Wise, Va has come a long way. Several updates made to the store, for the better. Adding a more appealing deli bakery and produce section. The hotbar is usually filled with good food as is the soup bar. The most enjoyable os the addition of a Starbucks beside of the hotbar and deli. Staff is friendly, store is clean.

So Much better than Clintwood Food City. Cleaner , Wider Isles .Wider selections. With meat and seafood bar. Hand cut meats and fish. Scallops ..Salmon fillet or cut into steaks and other fish fillets .. home made salads dips ECT. LOVE this. Meat cut to order.. seafood crab legs , shrimp and lobster can be steamed there too I Love it

Store is OK. Nothing special. Never enough check out lanes open. Double check your receipt to make sure you were charged correctly and that you got everything. There are not many choices in Coeburn so registering a complaint doesn't make a difference.

Love shopping there. Good selectionHowever you need to watch the prices sometimes. Some items are double the price as compared to Wal-Mart. When one of the other local grocery chains closed they raised their prices. Just proof that you need others stores to help keep prices down. A competive market is a boon for shoppers.

U stand there forever to cash a check or need a supervisor. Bt its clean ppl working registers are owsome bt i dont lik the way the head manager runs this store they are rude and sometimes argumentative!! This place for yrs now needs to take a better look at whom they leave over the whole store@ dont no them bt have seen how they are even saw them fire alot of ppl that made my shopping nice ! So until new head manager or managers im goin to priceless!!

Cashier name was Penny and the service I received wasn't worth that. Took her 5 mins to realize I was at the register as she walked around with her head in the clouds. She was cold and unfriendly like I interrupted her day.

i enjoyed spending time at the foodcity store yesterday evening and it's a good place to do business at the foodcity store and the delli has really good food for lunch and dinner and then I had placed an order for a birthday cake for my best friends for life which is Nancy Perry and I would like to recommend foodcity store to everyone

Updated store with ease of access for finding food items. Parking lot also kept clear and clean. Food City prices compared to Walmart always seems to be cheaper

Why do I have to fish out a card to get the posted price which is really close to the price I pay in a regular grocery store. U all have no idea how much money I have not spent in your store over the years because of that damn valuecard.
