Baristas were ok but no one greeted me, no one interacted with me, and no one seemed to care that I was in the store spending money there. Food city, my hometown grocery store. Can't say anything bad, they have helped our community in many ways, most importantly employees a lot of people within our county. It's a place to buy food and see old friends.

Food city is a clean friendly store,one big problem prices on products are ridiculously to high.Lower income people need more lower priced items to choice from.I have shopping other stores to find better bargains. I would love to do all my shopping in one store,lower PRICES.

Always seems like it's not very crowded until you get ready to check out. Then you find out where everyone is. Prices seem to literally double everytime I go in there.Customer service declines just as rapidlyI avoid going in there unless I absolutely have to.Always change everything aroundCan never find anything!!Yesterday when I entered the store I immediately noticed a sign stating that no animals were allowed in store. I understand about having animals that are uncontrollable around food etc. But my dog is a service dog and we have never been apart since the day I got him. He goes everywhere I go. I have never went anywhere without him, nor am I able to nor am I willing to. If my service animal is no longer allowed in the store then I will no longer be in the store.No public establishment has the legal right to deny my service dog to accompany me anywhereRead up on your laws!!I know them and I know my rights!

Food City has everything you need for your home like food, plants, pet supplies, baby supplies, cleaning supplies, medications/pharmacy, and more. The only issue is that the prices are much higher and it is the only grocery outlet some people can shop at. They need lower prices.

Giving a one star review because the last 3 times my mom and I shopped at the deli the food was all bad and sour, even though the expiration date hadn’t happened yet. I wouldn’t leave this review normally but 3 times is way too many for me not to say anything especially knowing that my little brothers ate some rotten food the past 3 times they wanted to get food from there which they normally love. So just a warning for anyone wanting to get some premade food from there. I hope the deli workers look into this and solve the problem.

The last 2 times I have ate at your deli. My main course was raw. My chicken raw and my catfish raw. I probably won't be back.People are really nice here is why I give 2 stars.

Buyer beware, and always, ALWAYS pay attention when your items are being rang up. I'm not exaggerating in the least when I say the past dozen times I've shopped here I've experienced discrepancies on my receipt.For example, with the items being advertised on sale, more often than not the sale price is not reflected on the store receipt. What's worse is that when brought to attention of a manager they are already aware of the problem yet don't bother to fix it for everyone, just the customer that pointed it out!I can't imagine how many folks have unknowingly been overcharged by this store. It's simply not acceptable, especially given that the items are marked up even more than neighboring Food City's.Yet another issue I've had many times here are items being out of date. One shouldn't have to experience all these uneccesary issues when giving this store business! If at all possible please take your business elsewhere!

As the only grocery store in Clintwood, they continue to price gouge customers who already can barely afford groceries. And with the new store they're building its only going to get worse. This is through no fault of any of the staff or managers. They're all wonderful to deal with. Especially James. He's a friendly as they come. The store would be 5 stars if corporate would understand our town is struggling and give us a bit of a break on the prices.

Not bad for a smaller Food City but not great either. The staff could be more courteous and helpful. Many items we almost bought were outdated. We brought it to the attention of an employee and they took care of it but didn't seem surprised. It is clean, as long as you don't use the public restroom.If you have a choice, go to a different Food City.

The products never priced properly. They will just throw similar more expensive items into bins where the lesser priced items have sold out. Which would be fine if they changed the price to the correct one. But instead they leave the lesser price tagged for the more expensive items. You have to constantly watch and make sure the price is correct

Sold items I haven't had in so long. Vernors we have searched for this brand for a long time. Meat we purchased was butchered nice. Prices were decent. Employees were so nice. Enjoyed my visit

The two stars isn't because of the staff who are great people. It's because Food City sends the worst stuff to this store and charges high prices beause they are the only grocery store in the area without having to drive another 30 minutes. All the best products and produce goes to their other stores in more urban areas.

It says share my own experience about food City so I will . last winter they was some of us riding the bus to get to food city and it was vary Cold like 10°. but we all checked and we was standing just inside the door waiting for the bus and they told us we could not wait inside even though we spent like $1,000 buying groceries they wouldn't let us spend 10 to 15 minutes in there store.and some of us had kids with us that was a year ago.And you probably guessed I'm still mad about it. Wouldn't you be !!!

Food city is a well organized store and the employees are wonderful people. I am always heard by a hello. Or even a small conversation. They take the time to make you feel comfortable. James that works as a courteous clerk always goes out of his way to make sure your have everything you need. Wes and Sarah always make you feel right at home as well. Every one is great.

Its a good place to shop the ppl aren't to friendly but they've got a job to do lol the deli foods great specially the ribs love them with just the plain rub on them they can put to much BBQ but you can find almost anything you need at this store and they've got pretty decent prices and love the weekend sell on their sodas and about the only thing I don't like is you shop then you have to bag them and then bring them home and put them away lol

This store needs more space. Overall it doesn't compare to any of the other Food City stores. I will drive 20 miles to visit another grocery store. Other Food City stores are really nice. Fresh meats by the lb at the meat shop and the seafood shop is one reason I go the extra distance to another town.

Staff is always nice and helpful, but this store uses the rural area to its advantage. Allowing them to drive prices higher than other stores. Also first of the month they price gouge especially the meat.

I like to buy meat at Food City. Clean butcher area and large selection. Produce not as good as it used to be.
