Customer service is still as much of a coin-flip since I left about a year ago. I'm thankful for the people who are helpful, but everyone else who isn't trying is just wasted space.New associates- learn the store layout as best you can. It wasn't worth my paycheck when I worked there, but I did it because I enjoyed helping customers. The faster you are at pointing someone in the direction they need without fluff- the faster you can get back to your job.

I would've only given 1 or 2 stars because when I purchased a propane BBQ, I returned home to find none of the innards were present. No grill, no burner covers ECT ECT. However when I called they told me to come back down and discounted the price and made sure it was exchanged for a fully functional grill with all the guts. The ladies there were very nice about everything and made it right.

Bar none absolutely the worst website for finding things. I frequently compare prices and stock to save on time and fuel The website does not give the proper product when typing it in the search engine. Says something is in stock, when it must be shipped to the store even when requesting items in stock. I refuse to put any type of app on my phone. They have a website, it should work.On another note, the waterheater I waited for for over 2 weeks arrived only to get it home an hour away to find a nice foot long dent in it.

Busy store, Christmas Section was very limited. Still has plenty of lights, trees and lawn decorations. Overall, surprised to see an over abundance of stock, grills, tools and Christmas gift selections, etc.

Finally a Home Depot with knowledgeable and available staff to help with projects. I didn’t have to go searching for employees, they came to me. Travis in Lawn&Garden helped check inventory so I didn’t have to roam. Had help in lumber and Miss Brenda at Pro Services checkout is a bucket full of smiles and southern charm! Thank you team for helping me knock out my punch list!

Needed some exterior paint for my front door. Staff was friendly and recommend this Behr product. Staff was very helpful helping me find the correct kick plate and door numbers. Now time to prep the front exterior door. The Home Depot is the place for all your housing needs.

From tool selection to plumbing parts, cashiers to return desk, the Chrisliansburg Home Depot has a positive vibe that signals these folks enjoy their job, and truly enjoy helping customers. I visit at least twice a week between home DIY, a robotics team and woodworking hobby projects.

I can't believe that I was tricked into coming back to the same Home depot with useless seamless employees. Employess just hanging around talking on thier phone or conversing with one another and avoiding customers.Tessa or Tess her was conversing and laughing with another employees. While I have to wait for 15min in the lumber section for assistance. And when I checke with her she's like oh the guys still operating the machines and I don't know when they'll be done. Yeh you couldn't tell me that early before I waste 15 min of my time .

Well Again I come here and leave empty handed for Lowes. Needed 3 exterior lights with dusk 2 dawn and motion activated brightness. Big sign at lighting advertising that feature. 10 minutes could not find so I got a employee to help. He said sorry but he didn't know much about lights but he would go find someone. 10 minutes after no one ever came back I go to front desk. They said they would get somebody. Another guy comes and says he doent know much about lights and 10 minutes later I am leaving for Lowes and out 30 minutes of my time. Home Depot is the very last resort forme and AGAIN leave empty handed without any help from anyone. I asked for the manager but the front desk said they would relay my issue. Yea. Right. When pigs fly.

Rented a pressure washer for a day...$50 deposit and a sign saying $29.95 for the day. Got it home and no pressure at all. Took it back the next day and told the person at the desk it didn't work. I received $4 back in change from my deposit and rental. As if I wasn't even there and the nonfunctioning washer was no big deal. NEVER AGAIN!!!

By far, the service at this location is fantastic. The store is clean and stocked and the staff are friendly and help you find whatever you need and are happy to get items shipped to the store or your home.

Ordered a dishwasher, ordered installation. ESL guy comes and says it can't be installed because it is hardwired and leaves. 1) I was charged $29.98 for a "Junction Box For Hardwiring", 2) Why was this a surprise? 3) Where's my money? 4) WFT just happened?

I ordered five Doors and went to pick them up after I had called ahead. When I walked in there were seven or eight people standing around by customer service goofing off and it took half an hour for them to bring those doors from the back. People obviously weren't busy so I'm not sure why it took so long. They do have a slightly better selection of items in store which is nice but Lowe's has them beat hands down with customer service.

We had countertop installed, but I found there were two chips on the top.I called Home Depot and try to get fixing. They asked me to contact with the factory. However the factory also didn’t take the responsibility on it.I wrote e-mail and called the factory several times, they didn’t take in charge of it.Once they set the appointment for me. I waited for all afternoon, but they didn’t show up. They made me call 3-4 different phone number, and every call they didn’t respond my problem.I wrote the e-mail again, no body respond me so far.I don’t think I made the right decision to ask Home Depot and this factory to do this job for my kitchen.Hope you don’t meet this issue like me.

Helpful associates, pretty down to earth. Usually keep good stock of stuff and it's kept updated on their app, which is great. I do feel their locker system is underutilized for pick up orders, however. It can be a real hassle to wait in line forever in customer service to get something you ordered online. Almost all visits there have been fantastic though.

Nice store, clean isles with a few exceptions of additional products lined up neatly in some aisles making it difficult to maneuver with mobility devices. Didn't have any interactions with staff, but did see them around to assist if needed.

I've been shopping at home Depot a long time so I know what prices I've been paying.Well in the last 2 weeks almost every item has increased. I've seen all the employees printing new stickers.A shower door I've been watching for a sale on went up around 60.00. So disappointed in what they are doing.Quess I will shop elsewhere.

Had to get a new washer and dryer for our new home. Home Depot had a great sale going on and sales associate Frances was absolutely awesome to deal with. So helpful and made sure everything was perfect. Great experience!

Poor. Poor. Reliability of product when you allow Home Depot or their employed service to put together items. 3 trips 180 miles. 5 hours in travel and phone conversation. Parts missing original purchase. Parts missing on replacement item. The third time is still in question. Minimal compensation to equal gas, time and frustration. Poor customer service. Need corporate action to coach this store. Will not be a customer again.

We arrived at 9:00 PM they close at 10:00 PM. Two young men (that didn't work in that department) went out of their way because the gentleman that worked in appliances was gone for the day. Excellent service!!! We definitely will be going back!

I love this store and buy quit a bit for my house and lawn. 2 draw backs though: 1. It's sometimes hard to find someone who REALLY knows what they are talking about and where items are located. 2. I end up ordering quit a bit through their website because they don't have what I want in stock.

We ordered a chest of drawers and tables. Our home was delayed. MATTHEW in curbside listened, understood and was helpful in accommodations to arrange another pick up date, but what impressed me most was his customer service!!! He was great! I felt comfortable talking to him and he did what he said he would do and called me back in a timely manner! Give that young man a raise and a promotion!!! I appreciate his service and help!!!THANK YOU MATTHEW! YOU ROCK!!!

I love this store. For years, I was a Lowes customer through and through. This particular Home Depot has single handedly made me switch my loyalties. The customer service is excellent and the layout is intuitive. One time, as I was being checked out, they asked "were you able to find everything you were looking for today?" A question that I have answered a million times with "yep", but this time I answered "well I actually wanted some soil". And the cashier immediately came around the counter and went to get what I was looking for after I answered a couple questions on brand and size. Thanks for being "My hardware store".

Purchased our blinds through this Home Depot and got a great price. Installation cost was also very good. Adam did the install for us and did a terrific job, highly professional and a super nice guy. Highly recommend this Home Depot for your blinds and make sure you ask for Adam to do the install.
