The process to rent was super easy. Unit was clean and easy to access. When I was done with the unit, all I had to do was send an email and they responded almost immediately. Overall, safe, clean storage facility with good communication.

Yes absolutely 100% yes use this place. I moved to Blacksburg and needed a location for my things for the summer and Prices Fork Self Storage was such a beautiful and quiet location. I never worried about safety or anything like that. The price is excellent too. It's perfect for anyone transitioning into Blacksburg or any surrounding areas.I stored my one bedroom apartment in the unit I rented and it was just enough room. Could have even went a bit smaller.

The storage place is very nice. It is in the woods, so you can’t avoid having some bugs on your things when you move out. I made a mistake by not covering my things. I think that would’ve reduce the amount of bugs. Other than that, the customer service is very friendly. Howdy answers any of my questions and concerns quickly.

Our experience with Prices Fork Self Storage was flawless. Administratively, Howdy makes the process to reserve and retrieve the unit painless. He is a consummate professional, exceptionally friendly, and he is prompt to respond to emails and phone calls. The facility is well maintained and there is plenty of space for large vehicles/rental trucks to maneuver throughout the property. On a side note, we rented a 10'x10' unit and it was the perfect size for our boys to store their effects from their 2 bedroom apartment. We highly recommend Prices Fork Self Storage. My family had the pleasure of working with Prices Fork Self Storage when we needed a place to store my daughter's furniture from her college apartment while she took a gap year before grad school. They were wonderful to work with, billing was easy, the units are very accessible, very affordable and 1.5 years later we returned to find everything as we had left it, clean and dry. If you need short-term or long-term storage near VT, this is the place for you!!

When I needed a storage it was last minute and Late in the evening so I called expecting nobody to answer the phone but that wasn’t the case! A calm nice compassionate man answered the phone and talked me through easy process in renting the storage. So we spent all night moving. About a hour into moving a man named howdy came down to ask if we needed anything at all or if he could help in any way and I thought that was extremely kind seeing as he already accommodated so late in getting the storage! We got it all moved. We used the storage for 5 months and 3 months into the contract we had a very bad hardship and I couldn’t pay the full amount so I called howdy and he said it’s ok stop worrying (I’m a big worrier) we will at that’s figure this out so he let me pay what I could every Monday until I could pay it off. One week I told him I had a certain amount of money and it was all I had and I called to give him the money and he said no it’s ok keep it for gas ect and just pay what you can the next Monday. He don’t know but I was giving him the money for us to eat that week! Throughout the whole process he treated my husband and I with dignity and respect! He could of easily locked us out of our storage but he didn’t. He done everything he could to help us! The building itself is very secure and clean! If you are looking for. Storage seriously don’t look any further this is BEST STORAGE aim sw Virginia !! Best price as well! The storage buildings are secure bricks with very sturdy locks and door and there is lighting inside the building but there is lighting all throughout the property the storages are clean!!! Disgusting, Disgusting,.....We kept my son's things for 7 weeks. When opened the storage, all things were filled with high amount of dead bugs. Not dust, but tons of dead bugs everywhere. Please don't use this facility. It is health hazard and unhygienic. Ww have to throw some of the things and others we have to clean them. It took so much time and energy and still feel Disgusting to use those things. Don't use this facility.

I used a non-climate controlled storage unit for 1 year at Price's Fork. My experience was excellent, the unit was easy to get to and kept all of my items safe through both the summer and winter. Pat was extremely friendly, fair, and always available when needed. I would recommend Price's Fork Storage to any and all of my friends, and I would store my stuff here again.

I volunteer with a 501(c)(3) organization that was in desperate need of an affordable storage unit option for our supplies and Prices Fork was nothing short of perfect! Howdy was super personable and quickly addressed all of my questions and concerns in a timely manner. We had the storage unit within 24 hours of my initial request! Prices Fork was a great place to leave my stuff and they were on time with getting it back. The warehouse is big and it can fit a lot, and they kept inventory on everything. Nice people and great service, will definitely use them again in the future.

Let me say this about that: The sliding type of latch can be easily removed from the fixed side of the door with the correct torx bit. I may be wrong, but they look like standard torx bits. Harbor freight sells security torx sets that would easily fit in a drill. That latch can be opened in a matter of seconds. There are better and more secure locking latches where the fasteners are covered by the latch when the lock is in place. On those latches, the screws / bolts are covered by metal. If carriage bolts with nuts are used, it is even more secure.I personally am taking out an insurance policy. I know this is a college town. The rent on this unit was not inexpensive. I did not have enough time to do due diligence. I am used to more “commercial” and secure facilitiesJust my two cents.I know this is a close place to the campus

I stored some of my excess belongings/junk with PFSS when I moved out of town this past summer. I was surprised by the variety of storage unit sizes they offer, they definitely have an answer to however much or little you are looking to store. You also get 24/7 access to your unit, which is very convenient and fairly hard to find elsewhere. The hallways are well lit, and they have an AC/dehumidifier system, ensuring your belongings stay dry in the wet NRV weather.Kevin is very accommodating as well; I had originally paid for 3 months up front, but at the end of the 3 months I forgot to pay for the following month. Kevin contacted me around a month later and allowed me to pay for the back-month and current month without any problems. He even let me keep the summer special rate I was originally paying. This sort of “customer-first” approach is often hard to find in many larger, “big-box” storage facilities. For example, if you ever have a question or there was ever a problem with your unit, the number on their website goes straight to Kevin.I would definitely recommend PFSS to anyone looking for an affordable (and convenient) storage unit in the NRV area.

The manager is a great guy and always willing to work with folks. Facility is safe and never had an issue out there! Highly recommend to anyone looking for storage in the NRV.
