Service was okay. The Food was mediocre at best. Ordered some BBQ sandwiches with Slaw, Hotdog, Nachos, Sliders and a few drinks and the total was around $40 for Food truck quality food.Wasn't offered any BBQ sauce for the sandwiches, and they didnt seem to have any high chairs for toddlers to sit in. Not very kid friendly in that sense.Kid-friendliness: No high chairs. Important especially being 25ft from a main road for parents with toddlers.

Where do I start? It’s a long distance from our home but it’s worth it!The atmosphere of this place is amazing so friendly so kind and LAID back they are just the sweetest family!The ice cream is always changing which is honestly great because of all the new flavors you get to try!The family that owns this or works here are just humble people and they love seeing you walk in the door!They also have hotdogs which are so good with coleslaw and some chicken salad I haven’t tried but I’m sure it’s great the bbq is great it’s all home made even down to the cakes!Also they’re people who know that people who love ice cream want a real cone with a real serving of ice cream but they pack it to the top which keeps us coming back time and time again!They deserve ten stars honestly!

This is a great new place! There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I sampled several of the hand-dipped ice creams, all of which were good, before settling in on a cone. The Sea Turtle (salted caramel & chocolate turtle) and the seasonal pumpkin pie were what I liked the best. There are several options for "real food" if you want dinner before dessert.

Cute place, reasonably priced. Had a small vanilla custard (penguin) in a cup with a strawberry crunch topping. It was delicious!! Friendly staff, clean restrooms. Will be returning and would recommend.!

good prices, great hotdogs, ice cream is bangin! try a fudge sunday or a stormy. The staff here was also super friendly, and it's awesome to see a place like this that isn't a chain. support a local business and go stuff your face with ice cream!** Question for the Owner **I noticed the candy bar selection for Stormy's was a little short. Will there be more options in the future? And... if I brought in a king size Payday bar, would you blend it into my stormy please?

What a delightful place to visit and have a snack, a meal, or a quick cup of ice cream! We have visited numerous times and have tried most of their menu offerings. The staff is most friendly and welcoming, the restaurant is very neat, clean, and well lit. This is a wonderful place for all ages. Our community is richer for having Poppy's!

Outside of our first visit where the owner warned those in line of over an hour wait (and it took 25 minutes), service has been very kind. Being an indoor building is a plus! Ice cream flavors change consistently, whether good or bad. For the quality of the food, prices seem a little high. I cannot say I am a fan of seeing the food sitting in crock pots behind the counter. We’d keep going back for our kids, they enjoyed the new environment, but for quality, we’d likely continue to go to other ice cream and drive in places.

3rd time here and I believe it just keeps getting better !!! The Red Dogs really hit the spot. Their chili and slaw are absolutely perfect 👌... and of course delicious ice cream and a wonderful, friendly staff !!

Our first experience is pretty good, we tried the hotdogs, bbq, milkshakes and soft serve. The line moved quickly but behind the counter seemed unorganized as they got one of our orders wrong and then completely forgot the milkshake so we had to wait a long time to get it. Also had to repeat the order when we got to the register to pay. A little pricey… but we will be back and hopefully once the chaos of being new wears off they will be more organized :) and again the food and ice cream is great and I’m excited to have this in town because I miss custard corner so much!

Ice cream and food are great, but the thing that impressed us the most was how very clean they are. I think you could eat off the floors. I have honestly never seen a place of business this clean and well maintained. If cleanliness is close to Godliness this is heaven!certainly be going back!

My wife and I was excited to see Poppy's open. The owners were very nice, but one of the ladies working behind the counter was chewing gum while serving food and milkshakes. Chewing gum is a big no no when serving food to the public. They also are a little stingy with their portions. Finally when I see a sign inside the establishment that reads best hot dogs in town and the owner comes from the back with pink hot dogs I just laughed and said to myself ain't no way these are the best hot dogs in town. It doesn't seem like these boys have a lot of experience running a food establishment. Just a couple good ol boys trying to make some money. Hopefully they get it going soon. I hope they are successful but I will keep going to Gardner's Frozen Treats.

Wish they had longer hours, 8 feels early for ice cream to me, along with it’s only open for 5 hours. We tend to go to DQ instead as it fits our schedule when we wanted to try this place out. Got root beer floats at its opening tho, it was decent. We’ve wanted to try the ice cream directly but haven’t made it yet

Ate there 1 time. Hotdogs were great. I haven't been able to catch them open since. Online, it said Open today 3-5 Sunday. Nope! That's 4 times now. Not going back. Why bother building a restaurant if you're never open for business. And I'm guessing if they are open, what's 5 hours a day? They'd do great business during lunch hours. Very disappointed.

Delicious hot dogs and ice cream! Really liked the chili and it was awesome on the nachos too. The curveball was the bbq sandwich, which was the best I’ve ever had and way way better than due south. Glad this is on my way home because I’ll be stopping here frequently!

I love to support local businesses and Poppy’s does not disappoint. Their chicken salad sliders are phenomenal.
