Worst experience ever. The manager followed my wife to the bathroom and looked into her stall through the crack while she was changing her pad. She then yelled at both our children and told us to never come back.Only good part of the trip was telling her off with some very strong words.Avoid this store at all costs, especially if you're Hispanic.

Had to wait over 5 minutes at the register for a cashier to even show up. Once someone was actually able to check me out they were extremely rude and seemed like they did not want to be there

Tons of great parking. Excellent Outdoor Fabric choices. Was searching for something didn't happen to find it on this trip but got lots of inspiration. Highly recommend this store. No sales associate reach out to me while visiting but that's okay I was on a mission.

If zero stars was an option I would have choosen that. I have driven to Christiansburg on multible occations to find the storebhas closed early. Don't waiste your time with this store. Go to Roanoke. Tell me why we all seem to be okay with poor service sense covid.

The store hasn't been staffed since 9/21/23. I have two pick up orders that I want to cancel since I got the products elsewhere. Called corporate and they were no help - said they don't manually cancel orders, the orders have to time out on their own for the order holds to be removed. Going on over a week and I haven't had the order holds removed from my bank account card. So frustrating, if you need something from Joann get it shipped or shop elsewhere.

Tried stopping 3 times in the last two weeks and they were closed 4 hours early each time or never opened. Wish I would have bought yarn somewhere else but no one else sells what Im looking for

They close early randomly and some days are just completely closed (including the last two days) with no sign on the door, no audio message on their phone. Very frustrating to drive over and find that they closed five hours early or didn't open at all.

I have been going there for years. I want to give a BIG THANK YOU to Ms. Kathy, Ms. Jill and all the other employees there. I just finished a Big project recently that they all assisted in helping to get the yarn for. Ms. Jill did the official measuring this morning and it was 7feet by 17 feet. Highly recommend them as they go above and beyond to satisfy the customer.

The store constantly changes it store hours and closes early. Two weeks I have been trying to purchase fabric and they have been closed anywhere from 4 to 6 hours early.

Have tried for 5 weeks to visit the store, always closed. Could at least have a phone system message stating closed. Even if I call before driving 30 minutes there's no way to know anything. Very disappointing.

Went in yesterday looking for baby blanket material, and had an enormous amount of help from Jill! She took the time to really help me with the fabric my daughter would love and even helped me over the phone look for colors. So so so grateful for her help and how much she cares!!

The cashier and other store employees were very helpful as they always are. Store was organized, clean, and welcoming. No problems using coupons, paper or digital. Every time I go, I always manage to find what I need to complete a project no matter how crazy it is.

Excellent service. They work hard to help and apply coupons. Many retail operations have so many rules and exclusions that coupons never apply. Joan's gives the best customer service and their coupons are real.

This store is really nice now in its new location. The layout is nice & the selection is great. Fabric, crafts, thread, yarn, supplies, sewing machine, buttons you name it they will probably have it. I like the large selection of fabrics to choose from & I was really pleased to see a sale on sewing basket organizers. Fair prices on most items not pricey like their competitor Hobby Lobby.

The exact fabric that I was looking for was in stock. That was the good part. But, it was on the top shelf and I had to get someone to get it down. The person who was at the cutting table was trying to put fabric through a roller machine. Although she was tied up with this, she never even acknowledged me or offered to help or get someone who would help me as I stood near her waiting for a few minutes until another worker showed up. That worker got the fabric for me. When I got the fabric cut, that person, other than to ask how many yards I needed, pretty much ignored me also. Definitely NOT a friendly and engaging experience as I would expect from Joann's.

New store, looks great! Prices are fair for the quality you get. Coupons are great on the weekends and staff is good to great folks. Clearance section is always great for neat things you might've overlooked.

The new location is good. Looks like they were trying to compete with hobby lobby when they moved to the new location. Liked the old store. Seemed like they dont have as much fabric, or it could be they just expanded everything else and not as much on the fabric. They can also be a bit high in price. Customer service depends... sometimes the employee's are great and helpful, and sometimes you get one that is rude and a bit discriminatory.Overall i like Joann fabrics and like to take my wife and daughter here (ok, i like to go here too because they have art supplies and books 😏).

I used to always come here a lot, but for the last several years they have not carried much for a selection of crochet with the small thread. Not many colors to choose from. I was looking at the regular yarn and there was more empty spaces than spaces with yarn in them. Oh and you get coupons to use on regular priced items and you can't use them because they put some sort of sale on everything. I think that's a crock.I've been going to hobby lobby more these days.

I was there looking for magnets the weren’t o. The peg. Ask the manager and she scanned say that there were three available. InsteadOf her going to the back to check she said that they were probably stolen. Not only that, she acted as if there was a problem having to wait on me. I’m very disappointed in the customer service that I received!

It's ok. I've never been to one, staff weren't welcoming, one was rude when we asked where restrooms were. The lady checking us out was sort nice though, that's what got this store 3 stars from me.

Staff do not want to help, prices marked wrong and then they want to say well sorry it's the wrong price. I won't be back, half of the things I got had the wrong price, to me if there is a sales sign up that is what I pay for it. But no the cashier was like no sorry it's an old sign.

This is a brand new store, super clean and bigger than their old location but still fairly small. One perk of the new locale is your friends/spouse/parents/kids can go to the nearby shops including PetSmart, 5 Below, and Best Buy while you shop in peace. Four stars because it's mass market and has a very limited fashion fabric selection. Like other craft stores, the crafts and pre-fab decorations is pushing out textiles.
