We had an excellent experience with Blue Ridge Heating from the showroom floor to installation. They explained everything we needed to know about the Pellet stove. Our appointment for chimney inspection and later for installation was set up and the technicians arrived as promised. We chose Blue Ridge Heating due to being local and we knew if any repairs were required we could reach out to them for help. They were professional, courteous, and helpful with each contact. Thank you for making our decision easy.

I am very happy with the service we received from Blue Ridge Heating and Air. The technician arrived on time and was courteous and professional and took the time to explain the issue with our water heater and options for repair. He promptly followed up after doing some additional research on replacement models for our nearly 30 year old system. They definitely have our business when needed again!

Would not recommend. A/C stopped working over holiday weekend. I totally understand that there are emergency fees and limited availability, but the customer service I recieved was horrible. For starters, when I called at the end of business hours on Friday, I was told that I could not leave a message for emergency services the following day, I'd have to call first thing Saturday morning and leave a voicemail. Did that, and I had a technician call me back Saturday afternoon to tell me that he would try to squeeze me in over the weekend for a $225 emergency fee. That's fine, the property is a short term rental, so I was more than willing to pay the additional fee. Today is Tuesday, and I never heard back from that technician for the entire weekend to tell me whether or not he had availability. I called back this morning to explain the situation only to hear that there's a possibility they don't service my area, but they could put me on the books in case they have someone working nearby. If they don't service the area, that's something that would've been discussed on the initial phone call. If I thought that the issue was just worth the emergency technician, I probably wouldn't even leave this review, but it seems like there's a huge disconnect between dispatch and the technicians.

Ductless AC unit installed by Blue Ridge Heating and Air. Unfortunately, the unit never worked properly. When I informed them / Lucas of the problem, they didn't offer to help resolve the issue.The guys were super nice. Professional installation. Detail work was great. They left the place exactly as they found it. The heat works great. I wish the review would end there, but it doesn't. The AC feature doesn't work. I saw the guys putting in some units on the church next door a few weeks later and asked them if they'd look at it. When Lucas did, he took about one minute and turned it on with the remote and left. He never came back, and they have since finished the job at the church. Needless to say, turning on the unit didn't fix it. UPDATE; Chris came and fixed the AC. Some internal communication breakdown was the reason for the delay in fixing the freon leak. Chris was very professional. All is good Blue Ridge. Thank you very much.

Kevin from Blue Ridge was very helpful. He was articulate able to explain to me everything he was doing and why he was doing it I learned more about my home system than I even would have thought I knew beforehand. System was running pretty good one part needed replaced he had it on his van one check later and now I'm trying not to freeze myself my AC works so good. It feels good to know that the system is going to be hanging around for a little while longer

Honestly, I am a very unsatisfied customer. I paid for diagnostic same day. The $99 fee. Technician came out, He was Great, diagnosed my issue. The problem came in, where he told me that he had to order the piece. I’m a patient person, so I waited, no problem. Then Thursday late afternoon, closing hours, I get an email stating that the piece had to be ordered. And that I had to pay at least half for the piece to be ordered. Again, I’m fine with paying half. However, at this point you still don’t have the piece, you have no ETA on the piece, and now it’s Friday morning, going into the weekend, which means that the work probably won’t be accomplished until next week. And I have tenants in a cold house until then. Unacceptable!!! Maybe my expectations were unrealistic. I ended up calling another company, and they reassured me that I could get my repair done today. So now I have to pay for another diagnostic fee from a whole different company. I would honestly like my money back!!! And maybe you all need to find a new supply vendor. Your communication with your clients definitely needs to be improved. Show some empathy. How would you feel if you were without heat for days???

A bit disappointed. $457 to service and install new battery. Small leak noted near valve. Estimated $380 to repair leak at minimum.$50 job.Turned shut off valve on tank off. Now valve is broken and has to be replaced!Could have turned shut off at house and left tank valve off. Gas company recommended against using BR again…

Serviceman was prompt for the appointment (alerted us he was on the way). Completed his maintenance work promptly and competently. Also helped us diagnose another (in-related) problem we were having with our plumbing. Fast, efficient service delivered by a friendly and polite serviceman! Could not ask for more!

Tech was able to arrive on the day I had asked for and earlier than expected. Fixed my heat pump and offered additional services that my system needed because it is very old and needed some love. Now my heat is blowing much hotter than it has before. For the first time since I moved into this old house, I actually had to turn my heat down on a cold day because it was too hot in my house. Can’t thank these guys enough. Tech was very friendly and not pushy or try to sell me anything I didn’t need. Will definitely call them in the summer to service my a/c system

Shout out to Blue Ridge Heating and Air, and specifically to their generator technician, Jeff, for coming to our rescue last night! After the storm's power outage we thought we were ok because we have the whole house generator so Cheryl's vent, lift, power chair, etc can stay powered. Low and behold, the generator stopped! I called Blue Ridge's emergency line and explained our situation. Jeff came and spent over four hours (including a trip to Christiansburg and back to find a part) diagnosing the proglem. With the patience and precision of a surgeon he replaced a faulty stepper motor that resided in about a 3 inch space behind alot of wires deep in the unit and got us up and running around 2AM. Jeff wasn't even officially on duty last night. He had been camping but knowing what was likely to happen with the weather cut his trip short and got to work. Talk about going above and beyond! This old Customer Service Manager was IMPRESSED!Thanks a million, Jeff!

Yesterday you cleaned and serviced our propane gas fireplace, tested everything and said it checked out fine but this morning after using it about an hour it sniffed itself out just like it was doing before your technician came out. So, you didn't fix the problem.After I submitted my earlier review Corey was back the first thing this morning to recheck everything. Everything checked out again and he is checking on a replacement pilot light assembly to see if that is the issue.I upped my rating to 5 stars for Blue Ridge's promptness in coming back out this morning.

I have used Blue Ridge Heating and Air for several years. We have them service our units seasonally for proper upkeep and maintenance. They are reasonably priced, always on time, and helpful regarding any questions I may have. Usually, I see the same gentleman and he is extremely knowledgeable. I cannot recommend this company enough. After we bought our home they took abused units and got them into proper shape again!

Tim with Blue Ridge Heating and Air did a great job repairing and tuning up 3 gas appliances: 1) hot water boiler 2) hot water heater and gas fireplace logs. Doing this work in late November through early January resulted in delays of manufacturer shipping and manufacturer’s technical experts being on leave. Tim was able to persist through these issues and got our equipment operating. We are very pleased with his work and that of the service department.

Had my gas fireplace stop working. Blue ridge heating and air sent someone out right away. The first trip didn't fix the issue but they were proactive in talking to the manufacturer to order the necessary parts. They were very professional, punctual, and made sure that I was satisfied with the work before an invoice was sent. I will strictly be using Blue Ridge Heating and air from now on.

So far so good. Very impressed with with the response. I called at 3:30 and the service man (Paul...PC) showed up the same day within 45 minutes. He was really patient and answered all of our questions. Of course our old Rudd (that had served us for 23 years) was too rusted to repair. I'm now waiting on the installer to install a new Trane system.
