Very clean and organized, and their sales ads are wonderful! Prices are a little higher than one would expect, but it's the only grocery store in this mountainous town, so I imagine higher prices are due to the cost of getting supplies there. The staff is very kind, and generally seem happy to be there. I really enjoy shopping after holidays, because those sales are AMAZING. Thank you Food City for proudly serving this community.

Clean establishment. The produce is fresh and usually stocked with whatever I'm looking for. It gets busy sometimes. There might get a line backed up, but they have self check outs also. Deli has great chicken salad and their cakes are the best. Theycan usually do whatever design you want. I wanted mushrooms once and they did cute tie dye mushroom cake. 🍄 . The cashiers are friendly and it's easy to run in find what u need n get out if in a hurry

Not only are there never enough registers open but food packages are open or damaged. Ice cream has been left to melt then refrigerator & the freezers are NASTY! I as an American am standing up, speaking out. I'm fed up with the high prices of food just to see tht the food we eat IS NOT SAFE!!! IT IS NOT TOOK CARE OF PROPERLY ....food is not supposed to be handled or stored in UNSANITARY conditions. If every person would stand up & demand that our FOOD is taken better care of....then it would be taken better care of. People as Americans need to stand up for themselves & stop letting all the corporations & higher ups walk all over us and we just say nothing. Well enough is enough!!! I'm tired of paying outrageous prices for food that God only knows what happend to it before I bought it. But corporations don't care about the people they only care about the money to put in their bank accounts while the rest of us poor people struggle to just have food to eat. I have video of the ice cream freezer when I went grocery shopping yesterday. It was NASTY!! I'm going to continue to take pics/videos and post them on social media until people straighten up

Needs to be much larger. Over crowded and under stocked. Staff is very nice and helpful. Meat department is great but produce quality is low. Needs work .

This store needs to expand and lower the grocery bills and those that CHOOSE to use self checkout here or anywhere should be offered a discount on their grocery bill or extra points towards gas buck programs!

Food city has always been a favorite of mine to grocery hop at. They always have plenty of stocked inventory to choose from in all the departments available. Their staff has always been professional n friendly. Also they are a good company to be employed at. I worked there as a teenager n would recommend employment to anyone seeking employment opportunities. Overall they are a top notch chain if you ask me.

Extremely expensive compared to even higher end stores like Kroger. When they try to charge you $80 for two steaks, you should just take you and a few other friends out to the nicest restaurant, have the food served to you, and not have to wash the dishes! With probably an appetizer and plenty of sides to go with it for that price!

Stopped here during a road trip to grab some ice for my wrist acting up, the gentlemen in self check out helped me out and let me have some of their ice from their own cooler. Just wanted to say thanks a million for your kindness and generosity for a stranger passing through. 10 outta 10 y’all rock and I’m glad I stopped in. Thank you dudes so much.

Everybody there was super friendly even though it was early in the morning haha. Had a wonderful conversation with the lady in the hot bar when I was grabbing breakfast for our friends and us. We went down there on a spontaneous weekend trip, definitely would recommend.

This place is always so helpful and the Shoppings great when I'm here for a few reasons... mainly the variety and prices of Course but when, I'm not all myself the Customer service quality is Excellent! 5:15 p.m. on a Friday night. The hot bar was a huge disappointment. After unwrapping and opening up the pizza boxes, The pizza slices looked like they had been made before lunch and sat under a warmer all day. The chopped chicken was dried into small hard inedible pieces. We threw it away. The chicken strips were so dry, also like it had been sitting all day under a warmer, that it was hard to swallow it without choking. One employee was working behind the bakery counter. Please do better, especially at supper time when you know people will be in after work that need to just grab something quick.

U have to check the store flyers, they're online too, every few weeks they have a 5 for $5 produce sale, good deal, and a pick 5 for $14.99 on meat, usually pick 5 for $20. So each meat item is $3, great deal. They also have donuts!!! Love this place!

Great place! Excellent sale prices! Friendly workers! Would recommend others to go!😀 IDK what happened to their stake subs from the deli but they ain't near as good as they used to be, I was really disappointed.

Need to be faster about opening the doors at exactly 7:00am. Tired of sitting in the lot for 30 minutes after work to finally walk up to the door at 7:00 to still be locked out.

Most of the staff is super friendly and helpful to find things inside the store. The value card is a good idea to saving few bucks on gas. They have a few items in the seafood section, it's good to add more items. Recently they started self check out kiosks.

It's where I've always went for my food that isn't cheaper at Walmart lol. But I can say they have a good assortment of things. Food lion has a better bakery from what I'veheard, but that's just word of mouth.

After 9 they usually only have the self check outs open but the person who is stationed there is always to be seen and willing to help. Just a tip in case you went "SHOPPING"
