The first time I took my Cockapoo in she came out great and excited! But the second time I took her they didn’t cut her face or tail at and she had 2 separate cuts on her one on her face and a big gash on her paw pad. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL!!!

My friend took her dog that only weighs 4 pounds and they quoted on the phone $45 then when they called before her appointment said $65 and when they dropped her off they said $55 and then when they picked her up said $50 and was only half groomed. Her hair wasn't trimmed on her face or her bottom. . They were very rude and disrespectful. I would not recommend them to anyone.

They don't know what price to give everybody gives a different price at first I was told 45 then after the pup was in there and started they called and said 65 then 55 then 50. And the cut was very choppy not good at all..Don't take your dog there...there are no good......

This is the best dog grooming place in Chilhowie, VA. Heather is an experienced groomer and her staff treats the dogs with love and respect and gives the dogs a calming experience when being groomed, bathed, chipped and/or having their nails clipped. I have been taking Dee, a rottweiler to Heather since day one of the business opening and I couldn't be happier or more satisfied the way Dee is treated. Dee absolutely loves her spa day and cannot wait to arrive at the "spa".

The owner and others are so nice and treats your animals with care as well. I been taking my and my daughters toy poodles to her for years. She does such a good job on their hair and she does what all you ask for. I would recommend anyone to go there for their animals grooming!!

Our mini goldendoodle can be a wiggly handful, but Hattie always comes home happy and prancing as if she had a good time! She is trimmed so nicely from head to toe, as I requested, and she struts her stuff with her new kerchief 'cause she knows she looks pretty!! Thanks, Heather!

Today was the third time we took our dog to Barks & Bubbles for a bath and grooming. The first time we took him, everything was just fine. The second time, he smelled so strongly of the shampoo and perfume that it made me ill (I am allergic to strong perfume smells). I did not call the business since I had not specified that I did not want them to use sented shampoo on him. When I made the appointment for today's grooming, I did ask that they use unscented shampoo. The person I spoke with on the phone said that they do not have unscented, so I told her I would bring my own in. She then asked if I wanted cologne on the dog. I said no. When my husband got home with the dog, he again reeked of scented shampoo and/or cologne. I called the business because I wanted them to know that they had not followed my instructions at all. The bottle of shampoo was returned to us unused. (An aside here, why would they not use the shampoo we supplied? And then return it unused?) They said they would make a notation on his chart for the next time. They did offer to rewash him, but my husband said the dog was terrified to go in today and I didn't want to subject him to that fear so said I would bathe him at home. I also let them know we wouldn't be coming back and they hung up on me. What a business! After hanging up with them (or being hung up on), I looked at the trim and it is very uneven. Beware before taking your dog, the front desk does not give customer instructions to the groomer or put it in the chart. And, if you have a complaint, they will hang up on you.

The staff are very nice! I brought in my rescued Shih Tsu, Wriddle, who was in bad shape. The groomer was honest about how short his fur would have to be to get rid of the matting. But she made him look adorable and he's had the zoomies since 😂 He's always shy and nervous to be away from me but he was very happy when I picked him up. I'll definitely be taking him back ☺
