I went into this store today with my neighbors little girl on a whim and I’m so glad I did. The store is just beautiful! The art work on the walls is stunning. Dawn (the employee who was helping us) was so pleasant, knowledgeable, and kind. Talking with her felt like I was talking to someone I have known my whole life. The customer service was above and beyond and I will be back!Thanks Dawn!

A nice store to pick up all your bird feeding needs. Lots of feeders and different types of seeds; from compressed seed in small and large sizes to bagged seed in many types. Have some very solid bird feeder mounts for decks and the yard. Love to shop here for Xmas presents! Certainly can’t go wrong shopping here.

We have several hummingbirds in our garden and saw a YouTube video for the Nature’s Large Drip or Mist accessory for birdbaths. We’re trying to set up an ideal habitat for at LEAST four sets of hummingbirds and their young. And incorporating a misting birdbath in our garden for them to drink and bathe from is part of that plan. However, Wild Birds Unlimited doesn’t have an online store. So you have to buy products from one of their physical stores. We made the drive from South Central Pennsylvania to WBU Winchester store and the staff were top notch. Not only did we purchase the Drip or Mist, but we also bought a birdbath and several handy wildlife pamphlets. The manager was very knowledgeable, but not in a pushy kind of way at all. I appreciated that most of all. At the time of purchase, they threw in a bag of premium bird seed, bark butter, a birder hobby guide, and info to their podcast. It was a very positive experience for us, and because of that, we most definitely will be return customers. And yes, prices on some of the merchandise at first glance does seem a bit steep. But everything in store is top notch quality by a company that specializes in outdoor birds. If you’re buying your birdseed/bird accessories from Walmart or your local grocer, you’re probably doing it wrong. A lot of what the big box stores sell is more decorative than functional. And in regards to bird food, not the most nutrtional either.

So glad to have found this place and close to home, too. I've been inundated with squirrels in my bird feeders. I checked online to see what I could do and found out about squirrel baffles. Checked locally and Wild Birds had one and it was $10 cheaper than online! PLUS, it works fabulously! I told a friend who was having the same problem and she had me buy one for her. My aunt has the same problem, so I'll pick one up for her. They also have many other bird needs as well as many wonderful gift items. Just love this store! Be sure to sign up for info. They'll send you coupons. I just got one for 20% off of bird food.

Hannah helped us pick out the cutest decorative nesting feeder to give my parents for Christmas. They loved it. They have been posting pictures of the birds enjoying it on Facebook since hanging it. We will definitely continue to go back for the beautiful, unique items.

While I might understand the restrictions on stores during the height of the virus spread. However, today with only 7 cases, 3 hospitalizations and Zero deaths in frederick County, Only to allow 2 people in your store is clear to me you do not want business. You mandate mask then restrict people in the store? Do the mask work or don't they?

Friendly staff. Unique items such as bird houses and lawn ornaments. A bit pricey such as the bird seed but we'll worth it considering the birds eat all the food instead of just throwing out the filler seed that comes with other brand seed.
