While the employee near the fish section was very helpful yall were far and few between having anything in stock. Also the chemicals i bought for the fish tank were cheaper online then in store which i did not understand i had to walk back in store show this to the guy at the register and then get money back. App prices and store prices should be the same especially when im walking into the store

I was taking my puppy for her second set of shots. After waiting in like for 20+ mins I was finally seen to check in.The woman at the check in, (I didn't catch her name but she had a boot on and was sitting in a scooter) she stated that I was late for the appointment and I stated "oh no I was just standing in line." She said no you weren't I saw you. And I felt extremely puzzled. She said well I saw when you walked in and it wasn't 5:30.What left me feeling very frustrated as a customer was the condescending tone and gestures the associate was making. She was tilting her head and rising the pitch of her voice like I was stupid. Also- assuming I walked in at the "5:31" she said I came in at, what difference would this have made if she was sitting there waiting for her to process through the line.I have already prepaid for my puppies shots. So I am stuck here to complete these but this will be the last time I use the vet service.The rest of the team was very caring and treated my puppy very sweetly. Such a shame to have this experience with the veterinarian clerk.

This is the best pet store I’ve ever visited. There is no where else our family will shop for pet supplies. The staff is always very friendly and helpful—we love our Chester Petco team! They take excellent care of the animals in the store. We visit often as we have a 3 year old who loves animals and each visit to the “fishy store” we can see the animals are happy and taken care of. The selection is fantastic—we’ve been trying out some different options for our golden with skin issues and I’m always pleasantly surprised that the food I’ve researched online is available in this store.

Petco killed my Dog.My husband dropped off our two puppies for a bath as we've done many times before. He received that call that they were all done and ready for pickup. No issue and within 15 minutes they called him back (he was outside) saying they were rushing one of our dogs to the emergency room. This happened 12/28/23 and no one from the corporate or district have called me back to explain what happened to our dog. They have taken zero accountability for his death. My husband was forced to make a rushed decision of putting him down because he was oxygen dependent after being brought in. Petco I want to know what happened to my dog. This has totally torn my family up and my second puppy is in full blown depression. I would not recommend anyone take their pets to Petco ever!!!!!!!

Carrisa did an amazing job with my dog. She not only did the normal nail cutting but also decided to shave some of the fur down on my dogs paws to make it easier for her to walk! Carrisa is fantastic and I was very happy with her service, and so was my dog!

I love this PetCo. They have more, better options than PetSmart. Their feeder crickets are the quiet kind, whereas the ones at PetSmart are always loud chirpers. They also sell live feeder mice and PetSmart doesn't. PetCo is the only pet store I shop at anymore.

This specific Petco does not seem inviting. I have a fish hobby and I've frequent this specific store for some of my needs. I've just now committed to narrowing that down to nothing.I went in to do my first exchange of dead tetras, and the register rep (Virginia) was bubbly and nice. The lady that took my decease fish seemed to have a small discontent with either working or having to explain THEIR policy. Her demeanor put me off and I'll now do my fish and product shopping across the shopping center.Getting fish on a delivery day is not recommended, but I needed to add to my tanks while in town and able to drip acclimate them. Also, they don't add stress coat to the purchase, which helps eliminate the additional stresses of more transport. If a water sample is required for exchanges, then that should be stated on purchases, instead of the $9.99 care package that's being sold at the register.Thanks for giving me a reason to remove my account and focus my patronage elsewhere.Pros:-Comparable prices on products-Usually have Red Cherry shrimps which is not easily found elsewhere.-Survey was useful and rep emailed me back-Two recent register and fish section reps were charming-Cat treats pricingCons:-Uninviting-Fish packaging and prep-Betta fish display is not appealingP.S. I went back that night, just to grab more fish; seeing if that was a one-off. Maverick, working the fish section was great, helpful and attentive. The same person from before, was at the register and I just got something stapled to my receipt with no explanation. Either this is a supervisor that doesn't care for working, and only expect others to perform well. Or, it's a regular employee that demonstrates what NOT to do at Petco.

Store was very neat and clean. Employees were friendly and helpful. My daughter and I bought a hamster and accessories for the hamster today, and we got the help we needed right away. No problems at all.

I gave a 10 for the customer care that I receive when I shop, the employees are very helpful and friendly. I would have scored higher overall except there is too much overstock on the floor when I go in where the employees are trying to put up. It makes it hard to shop with a cart.

Ziggy is happy with his harness, treats and grooming! Sharon is awesome and he is happy and wagging when he gets in the door all the way to when he leaves and he smells just wonderful!

One Petco location loves our doodle because shes calm and lets you actually finish a 4-5 hour job in 2-3 hours. THIS location has called me 2 times to “reschedule” my appointment then called again to “cancle until further notice.” and my dog has never even been to this one… I was told it would be over a month until next available appointment like its not a hundred degrees outside and I have a black dog? (and have already waited over a month for this one) They told me they would call me in a couple days to reschedule and its now been over a week. Then heard from employees there that a groomer was cutting dogs and they were not doing anything about it? So im glad it didn’t work out but still VERY unprofessional and I wouldn’t trust then with your pups.

Snowflakes work there. I accidentally reached for the wrong bag and she looked at me like I was committing armed robbery.. I apologized for reaching for the wrong bag but she didn't even reply.. she was visible triggered.. She looks like a miserable, angry woman with a man's haircut.. Around 3:30pm Aug 22 2023.. Walmart is half the price anyway lady!! Or man!!

I needed a medication for my pet.Not only did I receive a discount on the ap but I paid less then half than other venues (ie. Pet stores, online, etc).I walked in, picked up my prepaid order and walked out. Same day. Wow!Easy.👍GBU

Love this store. The employees totally make it. Always cheerful and helpful. Knowledgeable on so many levels- animal's needs, product descriptions and recommendations, honest that if they aren't sure about something they will find someone who is, patient and willing for whatever your need is. Love the variety offered. Sales are great. I love that they have the kitty corner and the doggy adoption days. Even have a mobile vaccine truck (monthly I believe). 2 👍 up.

Still a good store with a good variety of fish. Really nice pet store with friendly staff. I usually go for fish and their tanks are typically stocked pretty well. They guy that helped me was really nice and knowledgeable. The store is always very clean and stocked well. I know some people have complained about the grooming side, but I have no experience with that. Overall a great store for supplies and friendly staff.

The best thing about this store is the staff. I wish I could remember the gentleman's name, but he has helped my family and I several times with different requests and is a great example of customer service. During our last visit, my daughter was carrying items by hand because we did not get a shopping cart. This same staff member heard my daughter complaining and rushed to her aid. He brought a shopping cart to her. It may not sound like a big deal, but it was something he didn't have to do, but went out of his way to help. I appreciate that level of service, which is why we will keep coming back.

I paid for same day delivery on October 1, 2022 and it's now October 4. 2022 and I STILL HAVE NOT received my delivery even after being told on October 3rd it was scheduled for delivery between 4pm and 9pm that day. I paid extra for something along with a tip that still has not arrived. I'm going to call today and just cancel the order! I should have just stuck to ordering from Amazon like usual!

Very impressed with the fish department. The guy working that section was very knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous. The tanks were well stocked and clean. The whole store was neat and clean and had a great selection of merchandise. I'd recommend this store for all fish type purposes!
