I couldn’t say more about Pep Boys. I’ve been going there consistently for three years to have my car worked on. I’ve never had a bad experience. I normally go in and Carlos takes care of me and my husband. He’s so professional, kind, and helpful! Highly recommend Pep Boys for your car needs.

We came in Saturday for a scheduled Oil Change and also a State Inspection. We worked with Aaron and he was super attentive, listened to all my concerns and was honest about what needed and didn't need to be done. He gave us a time of 90 minutes and it was actually complete before that. All in all I had an excellent experience and I really want to commend Aaron for a job very well done! Highly Recommend!

From the phone call too make an appointmnt, to the picking up my car was absolutely great. I highly recommend Pep Boys. Especially the service center located in Winchester, VA @ 2001 Pleasant Valley Road. My brakes were not function correctly. I was in a long trip from NY to NC. I could've easily been persuaded to replace a master cylinder or a brake line... They thoroughly examined the car and determined it was air in the lines. Was genuinely excited to pay the $77 for the repair. I'm 5hrs down the road and over 2 days later and the brakes are working great. Thank you Pep Boys for your great service that came with integrity, efficiency and quality. All the best. Kevin

Called here to ask about a price on tires because their website was not working for me. I was given a price that seemed to be about 100 dollars more than what was listed online. I started asking about where the price was coming from politely, trying to understand if I was missing something. After about 2 minutes, I was told “if you don’t like it that’s ok” and I was hung up on. Best to just steer clear of a business like this.

I was enticed to register an online account with Pep Boys because of a 25% off offer on an oil/filter change. I clicked the link on their site...Just text OIL25 and register an account with us. That offer was then sent via text to my phone. When I clicked the link it went to a blank screen. Tried many ways to open that link, but all failed. So, instead of getting a good deal on my service, I was humiliated at the service counter when the local counter person couldn't process a discount. Standing in a line of waiting customers trying to figure out why I can't get the discount I was offered when I was influenced to go with Pep Boys. I over-paid at full-price, and I've heard nothing back from corporate, case #135821. I will not return to PB if they do not make this right. I'm furious.

Should consider doing away with the appointment feature on the website. Made an appointment for 10 am for new tires, alignment, and an oil change.It's 1pm and my car is still the "next one up". Multiple people have come and gone with their vehicles.Update 2pm: I just asked for my keys back. The manager said there was a “mixup of the techs”. They missed out on probably $2500 in work for this shop on this visit alone. Set an appointment for 10 am and sat for four hours and watched as people came and went with their cars after a few conversations with the staff here. My wife and I had both our cars serviced here for quite a while, we are going to find another shop to get work done.

Every time I go to Pep Boys, Carlos who works behind the counter and has been there for years always greet me with a smile and tries to help me out. The selection of tires and services are great. The only thing that Pep Boys could do better is redo the waiting area. Perhaps a charging station for cell phones while waiting and a little better chair to sit on. Other than that, I will be a continued customer for years to come.

Great service! We walked in close to closing time and Aaron was happy to help. We were on a road trip and got an alert for loss of tire pressure. They happily pulled our car back and checked all the tires for leaks, luckily found none, and filled all our tires with air!

From the phone call to the service was great! They are always so nice and understanding of every situation. They are very knowledgeable and know what they are doing and will get you straight. The employee I believe goes by Tommy is awesome and has great customer service every time !

Disappointed with the way management dealt with us. PEP must stand for "People Evading Problems". So, I took car in to get rotors & brakes replaced...they did, had an appointment it took hours...which my partner & I made best of. After complete...my brakes were soft...took it back to PEP and had them look over the work they did and go ahead with the brake fluid exchange which I didn't do initially...I was told the brake hoses were clogged and it should be under warranty with dealer...so I took it there...the dealer found that the wrong fluid was used by the "People Evading Problems" during 2nd visit -and the brakes weren't properly installed & left without springs during inital visit ...and this went undiagnosed from the 2nd visit by PEP Boyz...so I had dealer install a new front brake kit which had all the hardware...I went back to the "Problem Evaders" for restitution and was treated like a lying fool...immediate defensiveness by the staff...I had proof...and had to haggle with them for 20 minutes before I got a partial refund...with no apology nor admittance that they screwed up. Yes, going to the dealer is more expensive...but their quality of service is far worth it. Lesson learned. Oh yeah...dealer didn't have to replace brake hoses and car is braking normal despite what the PEP's (People Evading Problems) claim..not only do they create problems...they can't diagnose nor admit to them. I mean everyone makes mistakes...but treating a paying customer like crap isn't cool!

I took my vehicle in for an oil change and figured I’d spring for an added BG service to make sure things were clean in my older car. Carlos was awesome at keeping me informed and Edward, the tech taking care of my vehicle, was very thorough with everything. There were things I knew I needed to keep an eye on but after having my vehicle serviced, I realized there things I hadn’t been thinking about. It was a great experience all in all.

Took vehicle in for inspection, failed!! My brakes have rust and my tie rod end has “extensive play” in it. I’ve never seen someone under my hood for inspection for one, I understand checking the hood latch. But was informed they must check my fluids in order for me to pass inspection (since when?). Ever since my car has exited their shop, it makes a terrible knocking noise upon starting it!! I refuse to bring my vehicle back there to have it inspected again for fear that I may not make it back home safely in my vehicle. Plus I’ve never heard of having to take my tires off for inspection that i now supposedly have to take back to have them “torqued “ again!?! Get real mechanics in there, until then your aren’t nothing more than a little tikes play mechanic out here messing peoples cars up just cuz you think we’re going to pay you to fix it!! $805 brake job (just front brakes and one inner tie rod) that my mechanic is fixing for $291!! Y’all need to stop trying to take advantage of people, period. Word of mouth gets around fast and I got a big mouth!!! My mechanics going to look at my car this week and find out what y’all did to it and I’ll see y’all in court!

Took my car in because it was making a horrible noise. They tried to tell me it was gonna cost around 4k to fix my car and I definitely don't got that sorta cash. So I took it and got a 2nd opinion and I saved 3k to fix every single problem that pepboys said what was wrong. Please stop scamming people on prices. It's ridiculous and down right awful

I have a higher end meecedes and trying to find a trustworthy place who can effectively service my car is really hard. I took my car here to do inspection. Passed but rear tires were pretty bad so I got two new ones. They didn't overprice and while they were installing them they noticed a screw up from the last place I took my car and they fixed it. I'm not a maintenance person and really rely on experts to do not only do the right thing ethicaly but make sure my car is given the attention it needs to be safe on the road. They completly understood that. Aaron and Carlos were the two who helped. Please alao give kudos to the tech who installed the tires too.

Don't waste your time. Took 1.5 hours with an appointment for a oil change. They also said tires were rotated, they clearly were not. The charge for a synthetic oil change base price is 103$ after taxes as well. Go somewhere else, anywhere else.

The Service manager was rude when I try to talk to him on taking the vehicle back for the same repair Pepboys Winchester did previously.The part that they put on our previously was a rack and pinion. The part started leaking again and I found out they didn't flush the fluids out properly. I'm not going to the Pepboys here in Winchester ever again! I didn't appreciate the attitude given to me as loyal customer that had went there for more than 2 years.

This is my 3rd time getting tires at pepboys!! They had a great buy one get one free sale!! Devin & his staff at Winchester are really friendly. They even noticed my inspection sticker would expire this month. They told me they could take care of it all today!! The store was busy this morning but they got me in and out very reasonably!! This pepboys store comes highly recommended!!

Love this place! I was able to schedule a same day appointment using online scheduler to get my vehicle ready to move to Florida. I needed 4 new tires, an alignment, and possibly new tie rods.Thomas was my service advisor. He gave me an estimate and told me he would call me once my vehicle was up on the lift, if my vehicle needed tie rods replaced. A couple hours later, he called and said they were fine and didn't need replaced but that my cabin and air filters did as well as a few light bulbs. They also noticed an issue with one of my front brake pads that they easily fixed.The job was completed quickly and I was given an inspection report complete with pics of everything they found. Thomas and the rest of the team at Pepboys are absolutely the best!!!! Thank you for making sure my RAV4 was road-worthy to haul a trailer from WV to Florida!!!!

Quoted me for $2500 worth of repairs to pass inspection. I went and got a second opinion and even had the state trooper take a look at it. All that needed to be done was taking a screw out of my tire. Scamming people must be how PepBoys brings home the bacon.

My wife took her vehicle to Pep Boys in Winchester. Devin helped her and she was going to get an alignment done after getting new tires. So I give them a lot of credit because they did not try to sell her something she didn't want. Instead they came back and said that the machine said that the alignment was not needed her alignment was fine. So instead of charging her for an alignment she didn't need one. Nice to see they're still honest people and Devin is one of them. Taking my car there are several times and never had a problem always honest and fair.

The technicians at the Winchester store on pleasant valley road were fantastic! I was three hours from home when I got a flat tire - they were able to replace all 4 of my tires and even contacted the store in my hometown to assure the charges were prorated . Great service!

They're only getting one star, because 0 isn't an option. Clearly, they cannot read, or follow their own policies. Pricing is VERY inconsistent and they always overcharge and then refuse to make it right. There are PLENTY of other (and better) places to go get tires mounted. Hard to find anyone honest to work on your car. These people, in their smelly, dirty, run down store are definitely NOT honest. GO ELSEWHERE!

I went there to get a free oil change , tire rotation and maintenance check that was provided by my car warranty. They found a dirty air filter and marker light out. Wanted to charge almost $82 to repair both. I said don’t worry about it I will fix it myself. Then when time came to checkout I saw a charge of $82 for the repairs that I didn’t agree to. Management said they misunderstood me but didn’t offer a solution. I was very upset but late for another appointment and just paid and left but let them know that I would file a complaint . A week later still no resolution or contact from Pep Boys.

Water pump went out on a Saturday afternoon so not a lot of options getting it fixed. Pep Boys took my car right in. Service took 4 hours and of course it's a little pricey. Staff was friendly, mechanic seemed to know what he was doing.
