Martins is a one of a kind store. There are many grocery stores but this store is mine. I go in and everyone is pleasant. The store always has what I need, never needing a substitution for that special item. Fresh produce that is always just right. Deli meats that make that perfect sandwich. Thank you Martins, for always being reliable and fully stocked. One last thing this place is extremely clean.

Store clean and well stocked. This location has been open for 15 years and still only has a banner and no electric sign. (Kinda ghetto) It would be nice if your front end associates would get off their phones (in self checkout area) and focus on the customers, smile and talk once in a while instead of looking like miserable robots. With EV charging parking spots, grocery pickup spots, handicapped spots, pregnant & with kids parking spots, employee of the month spots...expect to walk a good distance if none of these designations apply to you. The company that owns Martin's also owns Food Lion, Stop & Shop, Giant Foods, and Hannafords. It would be nice if stores like this, that created a monopoly for themselves in small towns, cared enough about their customers to lower prices on necessities. Not sure why a pack of paper towels and a pack of toilet paper together cost $35, vendor items are outrageous...$7 for a bag of chips? $10 for a pack of bacon?

Nice clean store. Easy to maneuver through and check out was pretty quick. The cashier was friendly, and a person came over and took over bagging my groceries. 👍

Nice and clean inside. Comparable to Harris teeter or a clean version of Giant foods. Prices are high af compared to walmart, but thats expected. Nice produce. +starbucks

I went to pick up an online order,I called them to let them know I was there and what parken spot I was in.I had to wait 15 minutes, another car came in after me they brought their order out before mine then ask me twice what my name.I'm very disappointed in the service today.this what at the Sunnyside location,on Sunday March 17,2024.

Martins is a Higher end grocery store. And most i have bought is affordable. I don't mind paying a little more for quality. I am very pleased with what i have Purchased.I bought the hotfood deli fried chicken n let me tell you its delicious n a fair price yummy

Went in with my young son today for some household staples. The place was hopping. I got to the checkout lane and it was a serious line. I encountered Ms. Jocelyn, ringing items up and bagging them herself. She was moving at such a clip, I couldn't even volunteer myself. She said, "These are the days where I wish there were more of me." Ms. Jocelyn, you were doing amazing and were wonderful to interact with.

This is the best Martin's in the area. I drive out of my way to shop here. The selection is great, the store is very clean and bright, and the cashiers seem more pleasant than the cashiers at other Martin's stores (which is weird, but maybe I'm enjoying the experience so much that it just seems that way). Their prices are pure evil, but that's true pretty much everywhere nowadays.

This store has really gone down hill over the past couple of years, especially the produce section. They don't remove any of the old produce and leave it to rot on the shelves. The last time I went here I, there were avocados that were half decomposed and all of the tomatoes were either shriveled or had mold on them. I also was looking for fresh herbs but they were all brown and wilted. I would still go here if I don't need fresh food (canned or frozen) since it's close. But if I want to get fresh meat or produce, I'd rather go to a different Martin's. The one near Tractor Supply off I-81 has a better selection of fresh foods.Update: 4 months later and quality still has not improved, and has infact gone downhill. Issues I found in a single trip today:- Haas avocados so old, they were withered and my finger sank in almost an inch with barely any pressure.- Bell peppers that are old and wrinkled.- A box of figs that have mold growing on them. MOLD! How long have these been sitting here?! They're not exactly hidden, they're front and center right next to the grapes. Why are you selling moldy fruit?! Does nobody check any of the produce anymore?Seeing as how 4 months have passed and the quality has not improved, the company is obviously not committed to being "fresh" like they advertise. No wonder everyone goes to Walmart....

Martin's is a nice neighborhood grocery store! The staff is friendly, and the store has many items that some groceries don't have in stock anymore. Sone items are hard to find at any grocery store. The prices are reasonable in most instances, too. If you're traveling through, staying at one of the many hotels, check Martin's out! You'll be Glas you did.

The bathroom is dirty, and the employees that are shopping for people always rude can't get around them. There were 2 meat employees that wouldn't move gossiping about other employee's they blocked the meat case

i have been coming here for years because it’s close to me but every time i have to use the restroom here i dread it. there is ALWAYS three toilet options. one stall covered in diarrhea, one that doesn’t flush and is filled with urine, and a handicap stall that usually is diarrhea free and flushable, just consistently out of toilet paper. not to mention there has never been soap in the soap dispenser, just what you want at a grocery store where people are touching my food. the first time it happened i thought it was a fluke, but after years of shopping here and never once seeing a clean restroom or soap even present, i have learned they simply don’t clean here.

By far my favorite Martins to make grocery stops. They're always stocked, especially when there isn't a shortage on a particular item nationally. Always clean and well put together as well. Location is great as well.

Pro's - the pleasant valley location is a larger store and when they have sales every week they can beat Walmart. The pharmacy has great people helping me with keeping my prescription prices down.I have to keep away from the Chinese food department or I'll never be a skinny guy. And the deli department has the best chicken fingers aroundCon's- Now my background was years in the cleaning industry amongst other things so I'm sad to say that the overall cleanliness of the store could be better, but the worst part of trying to shop is trying to get around the Online store shoppers and their carts. finally the handicap motor cart's need to be serviced more than one seems to be so loose it feels like they're going to fall to pieces.

I ordered a tie dye cake from the bakery and Wendy did an amazing job! She was extremely friendly and skilled. She said it was fun doing the cake as she had never done a tie-dye cake before. As you can see she did an amazing job.

Great hours but I finished SELF-checkout 3-4 min. after they closed. When the cashier, who stood there watching me instead of helping me let me, out of the store, I nicely said, “Have a great weekend.” He gave me a snarky eye roll and pulled the door behind me. Had they not locked the other entrance when I went in the store, or helped me bag instead of stand there and stare at me, I wouldn’t have needed those extra minutes!

The store is a 5 star Martins, best in Winchester, but the pharmacy is 1 star at best. I have never been greeted, only met with short and ill tempered pharmacists. They will scow and act like it is the worst thing to grab a prescription. Very unprofessional and seems very ageist, seeing how I have seen them treat the older customers significantly better comparatively.

Largest gluten free selection in town is any martins. I'm glad we have three. Sunnyside is my favorite location.
