Alfredo was a great bar back that served me some tastes of beer, but the dishwasher was broken so he had to serve me in a plastic cup🤨… the Manager of this Kroger needs to step up and do his job and get a contract in place to maintain equipment in this store. Poor management is the only excuse for broken equipment! Step it up Kroger and fire this slacker manager 👌

With a sweet tooth I decided to stop at this Kroger to grab some cookies. These cookies definitely satisfied my sweet tooth. 5.99 for 30 count of mini m&m chocolate chip cookies wasn’t bad.

Very frustrated with customer service at this location in particular. Always just one person at cus service counter and all I need is to return milk bottles but always have to wait a long time. Employees will hang out in that area but never step in to help when they see customers waiting. The store itself is nice but they need more help at customer service. Considering shopping elsewhere.

This is a large grocery store with many sections contained inside including a deli, hot food area, cheese counter, butcher, and bakery.The store was clean and fairly well organized with a good selection.The prices are a little higher than some places, but the prices are competitive, especially if you consider the selection and layout of the store. In my option, the store is worth a few cents more.The negative is the wait time to check out. There are many self checkout options, but none of the self check are conducive to a large purchase.

"Fresh for no one." Frequently I've bought meat here just to take it home the next day and its rotten yet the sell by is still 4 or more days away. On my last trip, i bought a container of fresh spinach "washed and ready to eat" that had a dead fly on the top leaf underneath the label and an onion that sprouted in less than 2 days.

Prices are high, but I suppose that's not something we can get away from. We should, however, expect the shelves to be stocked, the produce to be decent, and the restrooms to be clean. None of the latter could be found at this Kroger this weekend, unfortunately.

You really need to fix your coupon QR code thing. I don’t understand why you have to scan and clip a coupon in store, if an item is on sale just make it on sale! The QR codes never work and then I end up paying more than advertised. Then you’re left deciding if you want to wait in line for 20 minutes at customer service to get a refund or just spend the $2 extra. It seems like false advertising just to get people to spend more. We loved coming here but this has honestly ruined it and I don’t really like to come here anymore.

I went up to this location earlier today and bought some melatonin 90 tablet chewable 5 mg bottle while shopping got home the bottle was unopened but there was only 7 tablets in it so I called the store and explain the situation and was told that it’s not there problem to get over it if im not happy with store shop else whereI told the lady on phone i know its not there fault I just wanted to let them know what they had in store was not what it should be and got nothing but attitude from the person on phone I found that very disrespectful for just informing them about the problem

This Kroger’s located near Battlefield in Chesapeake is one of their larger stores. I was surprised they were more expensive than Harris Teeter (also owned by Kroger’s). The produce looked good today but I’d was a bit pricey. I noticed the prepared salads were overpriced but the soups in the refrigerated section were comparable. The potato salad and slaw section was almost 😅 empty but today is the first warm day we’ve had in May 2022. This location is pretty well equipped. I prefer the location on Mount Pleasant and Centerville but I will certainly go to either when I’m in the area.

Megan is an AMAZING CASHIER! the line is backed all the way up to the door with only her working. Many employees are lazy and watching her work alone and the customers are left to bag. Great Management 👍🏻

Great Selection. Often long lines.Very dirty. Toilet paper, wipes, and garbage everywhere. Talked to three employees who did nothing. I asked for management and waited a long time they never came out. I left my name and phone number at the service desk. No one ever called. Would be a great store is it was attended to properly.I have seen huge sections of expired food there in beef jerky department.

I ordered delivery from this store. It was 4 hours late and no food items arrived. Asked the driver "Is that everything?" He said yes even though half the order was missing. Then he suddenly remembered that he "accidently" gave my food to someone else. It is 10pm, I am starving, and he shrugs it off. 2 days later, I see that I was charged for the items so I call the store. After calling 3 times and waiting on hold for 45 minutes, I finally hung up/gave up. Will never shop here again. Does anyone know how to get my money back?

In town a few months for work and found this Kroger market place. Love this place! They have everything and then some. Makes me dislike Walmart’s even more!Wish we had Kroger on the Gulf coast!

Your cashier Selena has the most nasty attitude I know when I did customer service I always try to have a positive uplifting attitude even though I had a rough day tossing my groceries in the bag like I was getting them for free. Probably won't come back because I do not want Selena to handle my groceries the way she did ever again oh my yogurt have dents in them because she was just tossing them in the bag

This is a fine grocery store they have a nice variety of stuff a good place for your big shopping needs or if you just need to pick up a little something they've most likely got it. Plus the gas station

My family and I absolutely love this grocery store. We are new to the state and it’s great having such a lovely grocery store close to home. Very convenient. Has more than just food, there’s even clothes and shoes! Love the layout, makes it very easy for us to shop. And the place is always clean and organized. We go once a week for produce. Not because it’s going bad, but because we eat through it all so quick and their prices a really good. I’d like to think it’s better than the NEX and commissary. We save a lot of money using their app and card, which are both free. I haven’t tried their pick up service, but I’m sure that it’s great with all the friendly employees they have. If you’re new to the area, I highly recommend this place. 😊👍

This location has rude employees that argue with customers about things that they have made up for no particular reason. Went to return my bottle deposits here, the girl at the customer service counter lied, after making me wait for 20 minutes to have another employee assist her with her job, claiming to be an assistant manager when she tried to demand bottle deposits for another company needed to be completely cleaned by the customer, then attempted to refuse to get a manager... really? Power is a strange thing and goes to some people's heads. The manager came and of course put her in her place, very professionally I might add, but by this point I was livid and not playing nice. I've been buying milk in glass bottles for a long time and don't need a young woman trying to push her weight around instead of doing her job. Won't be using this location for my shopping needs, other stores have way better trained employees that don't try and have power trips. Also they can't seem to keep shelves stocked and act like professionals.I read a review that one of the cashiers was challenging a customer on the price of an item, if that ever happens take the item to customer service and they will handle it.

July 2019 - Rotten fruit anyone? Wowser. This Kroger has the most understocked fresh section of any Kroger I have been to and a lot of what was there was rotten. Doubt I will be getting fresh food here again!2017 - Watch out in the parking lot...people will fly through without paying attention to pedestrians. I actually prefer the store on Holland....people are more polite at the Holland store.

The cake service here is as good as a bakery at a WAY better price!! The cake decorator here is phenomenal! She is so friendly, helpful, and talented. I explained what I was hoping for in my friend's going away cake terribly and quite confusingly yet she understood and executed it exactly as I imagined or even better. She put together images I showed her from 4 different pictures of cakes but I wanted an amalgamation of them all and she did it! We provided the little plane but she did everything else and even did a custom size for us. The cake looked great and was DELICIOUS! Always go with buttercream icing! It was a huge hit!

I went to self check out. The lady name Susan was there, she didn't greet me or say have a nice. day. There was gentleman checking out the same time I did. She said to him "have a nice day ". I guess I was invisible. Very poor customer service skills.
