This particular Dollar General is in a prime spot in Deep Creek. There isn’t much of a competition besides, Family Dollar, Dollar Tree, or Food Lion. They made one self check out that is always out of order and one cashier who is overwhelmed and overloaded. They were 4 other workers on the floor. When you ask for help you always get “I really don’t know”. The lines are outrageous because of the one cashier. Be prepared to wait 30 minutes at least. Customer service is awful and Dollar General should aim to please their customers. We in fact are the ones who put money into the company.

Employees not hands on with Dollar General app.Pick up times are unavailable before the pick up times suppose to end & waited for small order stick in progress for hours then when time came email saying order is late...& 2hrs later still in progress. Want to cancel order but it is stuck in progress like they shopping for it. Called about canceling or the machine is broken they said I have 2 cancel, but because order went into progress cancelation option is unavailable. Not using pick up again. They don't know how to operate the orders here.

Always so dirty and disorganized. If you go down any of the Isles that are not the food aisles they look like they just took merchandise and threw them onto the shelves. The floor is black and dirty and was so sticky that it pulled my shoe off when walking. On a positive note the employees that work there are always super nice and helpful. It's not in a good area I wouldn't recommend going there after dark. Can't really recommend going there in the daytime either.

This place needs corporate to come in and fire every staff member there including mangerment. I went there for their sale on Pepsi products 3/11, they had little to stock plus what they had was beat up can boxes with dust and dirt, the whole store was nasty. I ask if they had anymore cases in the back the cashier ask if I look in the aisle. Really, so as if i did not look, then she said wait, I waited and then left knowing that I can go and spend my money so where else that's clean with great products and good customer service. Did not know Food Lion had the same sale.

Kudos to the employee who tried talking me out of getting Mountain Dew. In all seriousness he was so kind and genuinely concerned for my health. He read me the sugar content and showed me his favorite sugar free alternative. Above & beyond! Give this man a raise!!

This store use to be my favorite store but recently found out my favorite worker no longer works there. It seems the nice. Hard working employees don't last at this store but the rude, lazy & incompetent ones do ! For now on I'll take my business down the road to the DG on GW these rude employees at this store aren't worth me catching a charge

I love how convenient this store is! Among the Covid 19 epidemic, they were amazing. I have lived in Deep Creek for 14 years and we all pretty much know each other. However, T., an employee at the S. Military hwy store is a loose cannon. He has been hostile to customers, including me and terribly selfish..dare I say narcissistic. Everything is about him, his gym schedule, and when a candle was broken, he through a huge tantrum slamming things in front of a line full of people. When he's good, he's great.

It's much better than it used to be the people there are friendly and helpful now. The people who used to work there it was like you was a bother even being a customer in there. Not at all helpful and certainly don't ask them where something is. But the people working there lately are extremely helpful and very courteous

It's a nice place to find last minute items or some good deals, store is always packed with shipment so if you have a cart sometimes you cannot go down some of the aisles. Workers there are always friendly!

Everything was easy to find. Prices are good based on the convenience of items. Their app is great to have when you are trying to save. It is a little tight in there but the customer service is good.

It's a convenience place to grab a few things and the people there are nice and friendly, but they have a limited selection and run out of stock a lot, especially with the refrigerated and frozen food items. I'm not sure if it's a warehouse issue or what, but it's gotten to the point where I've made so many wasted stops there I just bypass it now and go straight to the grocery store. They also don't have anymore smart phones in stock. I used to be able to really good deals on Verizon phones there, like a HTC Desire 510 for $40.00. It's a shame, but it's hardly worth stopping there anymore except for anything but aluminum foil or trash bags.

The isles are too tight. The employees are never at the register upon check out. They're always blocking the already tight isles stocking. There's no room in the isles to turn around. Some of the prices are ringing up higher than what it's suppose to be.

Crowded and junky like most Dollar Generals, cashier was nice an full of energy. Best and Cleanest, I ever seen are the 2 in Hampton.Thot i was buying a $1.00 toy for my Pitt to tear it 2 pieces in 5 secs, looked at my receipt, that thing was 5.00. It was in $1.00 bin.

My neighbor Dollar store. The employees are always nice and they always have what I need. My only complaint ever is that they usually only have one register open. Even if there is a building line. But that's most dollar stores I've been in.

They've got a lot of inexpensive things you can get for the holidays if you're in a pinch. I think people are starting to hoard things again because their grocery items were a little low, but then again it's the weekend and I'll probably be trying to stock up very soon.

I arrived at this location at 9:45 pm on November 5th and the doors were locked and not an employee was found. They had clearly been gone well before I got there. The issue is, the store doesn't close until 10pm everyday of the week. The last time I arrived at this time the manager pulled the door shut as I was opening it and said "sorry we're closed, come back tomorrow. Terrible customer service. Extremely poorly managed. It's dirty. Expired food. And very unprofessional employees.

I went to buy cat litter there was none. The Isle were cluttered and I felt very enclosed. If there was a fire or some emergency someone would either get hurt or lose there life. I will not go back there again. I rather travel then go there.

Prices are getting out of control. Eggs went from $1.15 to $2.65. Its not worth going to if they continue to raise prices. NOT A DISCOUNT STORE. Nothing ever rings up on clearance.

I found disinfectant that was a tall bottle 3 different fragrance for a dollar a bottle it cleans well and smells well.

They've got a little bit of everything. Hit or miss on the bargain buys. Some things are over priced for at dollar store. It's very disorganized, too few employees.

Friendly staff but they don't stock their products . The store was a complete mess almost everytime I went in there, which was often because it was right around the corner.

It's a nice place to shop if you need home things like toilet paper, or paper towels. Dollar general has a lot, for a little.
