It's a pretty nice store, but the dude who was working in the manager stand/cigarettes was horrible to work with. Cashier 0147 my receipt says. Just stared at me and ignored anything I asked. This dude should be out in the back somewhere, he's horrible with people.

A little high on some things. It happened just the one time young girl running the register didn't even know how to speak I ask how she was doing and she act like I wasn't even there she may have just been having a bad day. Normally your customer Service is great.

Probably the cleanest, most well-stocked Food Lion I’ve been around the Lynchburg/Gretna/Danville area.They are very friendly at this Chatham location.. and also cheerful! They seem to love their jobs here which is wonderful.On my last visit I stopped to grab a gift card for someone. The employees at checkout asked how I’m doing, asked if I needed assistance with anything and told me “we hope you have a good day, sir” on the way out, a manager was walking in. The manager greeted me and we chatted for a few minutes about my visit. They told me it was a pleasure chatting, offered to shake my hand (I gave a fist bump) and told me I made their day!They made MY day!

Just moved out this way and I've been satisfied with the service and prices every visit i had got some tomatoes and onions last night & they were so good told the wife gone hold the burger im good with these two yummy!!!

Liked it. Found almost everything I needed, except for the selection & quantity of CANNED cat food. Always running low on Friskies Shreds Variety Box. And never find Taylor Ham Pork Roll (get with it). Be THE grocery that has it. 😁 Otherwise, great store, friendly, helpful staff.

This is the most pleasant Food Lion around our area. This store is clean organized and the dates in items seemed to be checked more than other food lions. In addition, I have lost things in the store 2 times now and the employees are very honest the first time it was a set of keys with my MVP card on it and Christmas Eve I lost my bracelet it fell off my arm and I had only been two places at that time. So on December 26 I called the Chatham Food Lion and spoke with a very pleasant lady and told her what I lost a gave her my name and when she checked they had my bracelet. It made my day because I cried Christmas morning when I was getting ready to put it on and realized it had fell off my arm. They really are an awesome group. Thank you so must for your honest staff.Tina

I belive they are doing all they can to get food to their shelves. I also belive by paying people extra unemployment, higher fuel prices, new stupid federal commercial law requiring new truck drivers manditory truck school requirments are major problems to the supply chain and higher food costs.

Food Lion at Tight squeeze is on my way home. It's so nice to stop in and pick up what I need. Staff is helpful and the store is always clean and tidy.

I am 70 and haven't been inside any business or store since mid March and no one has been inside my home or my vehicle. I did outside pickup Friday at Chatham Food Lion and have a tiny hatchback. The person putting the bags in starts talking to me up through the car and had NO MASK ON! It is only 4 1/2 feet from the hatchback space to the back of my front seats. I pay to do store pickup to stay safe, NOT to have someone spewing droplets into my car without a mask. This is endangerment to others and I can't believe Food Lion is allowing this.

My neighborhood grocery store. The staff is always helpful and managers do their best to keep lines short. The deli/bakery always has great items and emergency birthday cakes😁.

Personal wearing masks under their noses and allowing unmasked customers inside.if another grocery store opened i would be the first customer.. never has wipes for carts either .so been going to other places to shop like Midtown who follows the rules.

The food-lion in Chatham is great. The cashiers are fast, the deli is awesome, and they have a by-the-pound wings and sides buffet that is always hot, fresh and tasty* general Tso's wings and bacon cheddar potato puffs....yep!
