The staff working this past Sunday late afyernoon/evening at the store on the corner of Winkler & Fowler near Fort Myers, FL were amazing! I came in as it was getting dark, dirty, sweaty crying lost trying to use my Paypal acct to buy a gas card bc I had just been through a terrible experience just trying to help someone out of kindness, and ended up stranded with no cash at hand (packed up somewhere in my car) with my two little Yorkies and a daunting 14 hour+ drive back to Virginia. The guy working calmed me down and between he and the nice blonde haired lady they got me calmed down enough to realize my transaction wasn't working bc I was not using the app, which I knew but was so upset I hadn't been thinking clearly. I was so thankful but trying not to hyperventilate and would love for them to know much their kindness and compassion meant to me. I'm now safely home and although I'm not over the event, I know it could have been much worse and thank you seems trite but I would say it a million times over regardless. I'm terrible with names but I'm sure if they read this they will recognize themselves and know how much I think of them, especially in this day and time where selfless kindness is not seen nearly enough. I saw Tickle from moonshiners in here I was with my girlfriend who was at home 3 year boy who I didn't father but I'm raising as my own of course. Tickle walked by smiled at him and waved. Latee when we go to the register he said "That boy sure looks like his mama cause he damn sure don't look like you" I laughed he was always my favorite on that show as for dollar general I go for 2 reasons it's close or if I'm to lazy to go in Walmart.
