Had order ahead, which is very helpful when you're busy. Grocery store itself always has plenty of groceries when I like to walk in to shop. Employees are always friendly and very helpful. The store is very clean and it is easy to find what you're shopping for.

It's the worst customer service anyone can get in Chase City VA. Store full of people and two lines open with one being express twelve and under. Nobody in a rush to help anyone. The manager walking around and looking at the lines of people standing there and he went right on down the aisle. Then Conner came up and open a line up and he was also doing the food lion pick up. He acted and talked to the people on the phone as if he didn't even want to answer the phone. When he announced that he was opening line one. He never spoke or said thank you. For that matter he may as well said kiss his foot. I saw him outside when I was coming in and he was getting carts in and he could careless if a car was backing up pulling in he went on getting carts like he never saw me pulling in. I just hate this store they are so unprofessional. Most of the time I try not to go to this one. They never got anything on the shelf all or most sale items are not on the floor or in the store. Most are there prices are higher than surrounding area food lions. They don't try to help this town.

The service is great the people are friendly ready to help what do you need to find something to check out or needing someone to fill the bag in cart.My only problem is two to three aisles are open at a time it would be better and more efficient if all checkout aisles were open instead of 2 to 3

I shop this Food Lion alot! But in all my visits I have not seen a cashier talking on the phone holding it with his ear having a conversation, until this today. All while checking out a customer. This was rude and not good to see. So not a good employee! He was spoken to by the employee that was working customer service. If she hadn't done so he probably would have continued. Will NOT get in his line again!

I stop here routinely on my way from VA to NC to pick up a few groceries like a snack and drink for the drive, take a travel break, and use the restroom. The restroom is convenient and very clean, on a drive where bathroom options are otherwise poor, this one is immaculate. I travel often to care for very sick mother and I need clean place and I feel very safe here. I met Mr Nile who keeps the place so clean and he greets me by name. This is my only break on a long drive and I deeply appreciate their store and customer care. It is more than just a grocery store.

Normally I have no problems with this store but tonight when I went in they had let a man come in the store with his dog, dog was not on a leash of any kind the dog was just walking up and down the aisles like he deserve to be there. No the dog was not a service dog, I know a service dog when I see one and this was not one. My concern was how do you let someone just walk in the store with their pet and not say anything if he had a said it is my service dog then you should have said something along the lines of at least why is he not on a leash. Also from what I've noticed of other service dogs they don't wander off they stay with their person.

One of the cleanest Food Lions I have been too. The shelves were fully stocked and the staff were helpful and friendly. However, only 1 full service line was open and 2 express lanes so I was the third person in line on what was supposed to be a quick stop into the store.

With this being the only food store in Lunenburg it leaves a lot to be desired. For a better store of this chain the chase city and keysville stores seem to be better organized.

Staff very helpful, they were out of a lot! of things.I didn't like the way my groceries were bagged I carried my Food Lion bags and I asked the cashier to put the cold stuff in the insulated bags and she either didn't understand or didn't know which bags were what they were. Although I showed her the ones to use she didn't.

Very nice Food Lion. Manager was nice. I think it's cool that a rural FL has the "Order your groceries online and deliver to your car in the parking lot option" Pretty Awesome!

Always out of something. Need to take better inventory and stock the shelves. Had a moldy loaf of bread on the shelf too. Friendly staff but they need more people.

Every time I buy pre packaged produce it's date on it that states that it's fresh but it's never fresh , if this keep happening someone will get sick , I'm not buying anymore pre packaged produce from that food lion anymore and I advise anyone not to do so either.

Close to home,,fresh vegetables. And meat. Good reasonable prices. Get an MVP. Card to get discounts when you check out.Clean, just remodeled. Kind employees, hard to find that. They will go out of way to help you.

It's ashame of some of the employees sit there and talk about people and what they pay for there food with or what they pay for food with shut up, and do your job but it don't help this is the only grocery store in Chase City not to mention the monopoly they have

I've visited this store a few times in the last few months. The store is clean and staff friendly. I've noticed the prices in this store are higher than my home store but this grocery store is the only one that I know of in the immediate area (I could be wrong, don't hold me to that but I didn't see any others around). I'm sure I'll visit again when in the area but I'll be weary of the prices.
