This store is awesome. Not only ate you able to get organic food, but as an Amazon Prime member you get 10%off your order. AND you can return Amazon purchases at two stations located at the front of the store. Their wine selection is wonderful and reasonably priced. Many people come here for lunch or dinner to go. Their produce is so fresh and the salad/food bar is really good.

Excellent store with helpful employees.We went shopping on a busy Wednesday afternoon. Parking was sufficient and it was a little bit crowded in the lot.The location is solid being close to a few major highways in the area.Whatever you pay for premium wise as far as pricing leads to a high quality product.I especially love their vanilla sandwich birthday flavored cookies. Delightful!

The customer service folks are always ready to serve but the management doesn't seem to listen to their workers. They complain about how many times they tell the management of issues the customer raised but they're not getting fixed.Amazon return area is NOT organized and one of the managers (he said he was) complained saying 'We didn't even ask for this'... Okay!?! Amazon bought you guys. Hmm.If they don't figure out a way to somehow separate customer service and Amazon returns, lines will only get longer and customers will get annoyed even more standing around that tiny little corner of the area. People with carts bump into people in line. I saw a person with a cart hit a lady standing by the customer service and yelled out 'You were in my way!'. WHAT?? She was standing there first and you hit her. Wow. I felt so bad for her I wondered what she'd done if she had spoken more fluent English. The customer service person and others in line saw that but didn't do anything. Me? I was with the cashier when I saw it and by the time I finished paying a lady left.Such a bad spot/space for the customer service desk to be and also to do Amazon returns. I've seen many times that when the line is long it looks chaotic. Yikes! 👎👎👎

Very nice Whole Foods Market. One of the best ones we've been to. Well organized, clean, well stocked and working hard to provide high quality and healthy food. Noticed they are making it easier to determine which products do not have harmful oils in them, like canola oil and vegetable oil . More items with healthier oils like olive and avocado. Less and less processed foods and more fresh and natural. Well done 👍

This store was very clean, organized, and well stocked. I got a great deal on champagne mangos and additional savings by using my Amazon prime QR code at checkout. Staff was very helpful and kind.

I like many of their products, but unfortunately as others have said, can get quite busy, and I would add that the way the lines are set up makes it inconvenient. The cashiers do the best they can, of course, but layout needs to improve. It's annoying to have total strangers breathing down your neck right behind you as you check out items.

This review is of Elder. That guy is a freaking saint among mere men. He is always so bright and joyful, but more importantly he has an eye for customer service. Some folks help. Others, like Elder, actually get enjoyment out of helping others; go out of their way, proactive support, help while smiling. Keep this guy around, and show him some financial love that highlights his above standard service on the store floor.

Snobby customers are the worst part of this place. I once watched someone walk up to an employee with their shopping cart inches from the employee waiting for the employee to move. I've only been here to return Amazon packages. If you've got the money to blow, you'd probably enjoy it.

So far this is my preferred Whole Foods in VA. The one in Richmond is closer to me, however, this one has more of what I am used to from a Whole Foods. I saw 1 jackfruit, was able to be the Mrs. Katz cinnamon buns and the Whole Foods brand coconut shrimp that is Glute free, dairy free and soy free. Easy to get in and out. I wish they had more dedicated cashiers instead of relying mostly on self checkout with 2 cashiers working. I'll be back whenever I'm in the area.

Nice and bright and clean. Some aisles may be a little tight due to pillars in the way but otherwise a really great store. If you don't like crowds, do yourself a favor and look at the graph that shows you which hours are the busiest and avoid them. Things are well stocked all the time. Of course, being a Whole Foods, the prices there match the quality.

A bathroom situation there is deplorable.I went to bathroom and a male knocked hard in the door and made some vague statement loud "anyone in there".Im not going there.I got all I need at everywhere else and have more taste than most of those who look blankly and their whole foods brand of milk was horrible tasting.

While overall I find Whole Foods to be an overwhelming experience in gentrification, the fresh sausage from the Butcher's shop is a definite draw. Otherwise this store is too expensive and I am astonished it's always as busy as it is.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. Well worth the slightly higher price as the food tastes better. The staff let you sample at the deli and cheese counters before you buy.

Typical Whole Foods store. Best to go early in the morning to avoid crowds. The parking lot is often very full during peak times, especially when there are things such as pumpkins or Christmas trees taking up a section of the lot. Staff always seems friendly, and they have a few good wines. Self checkout or you might wait a long time.

This Whole Foods Market on Hydraulic Road in Charlottesville is a excellent store. I have been here 3 times. I think they beat most of the stores in the area. I have heard people say they are pricier than other stores..but hey you get what you pay for.All 3 experiences have been great. They are very friendly and helpful. Chelsea has checked me out twice now and each time she checks you out, she asks how you are doing and asks if you could find everything and even asks how your experience shopping was.All their stuff is extremely fresh and looks attractive.I think this really could be the best store in the entire area!!

It’s a relatively small WFs compared to others I’ve been to in bigger towns. But it always have interesting items and I’ve always had a positive experience here. The buffet is absolutely delicious! Both the cold and hot bars. I cannot recommend their Mac & Cheese enough.

The buffet was not only delicious, fresh and satisfying - it aided in creating a memorable day. Last minute Easter plan with my son and 95 year old mother. The day was too precious to be indoors. We opted to load up personalized to-go meals and have an outdoor picnic. Couldn't have been better!

Not quite sure where all of the great reviews have come from? My experience was quite the opposite! Way overpriced, flies all over the food bar, & the front-end needs a complete overhaul. Only 1 cashier on a Saturday, line was backed up. The young lady that was monitoring the self-checkout was completely disengaged. She acted like it was an inconvenience to help the customer, unfriendly and uninviting. The self-checkout scanner did not work properly. I had to scan the items multiple xs, in order, to get the item to scan. Front-end management was non-existent! Get it together Whole Foods! Never again! It used to be a nice store. Do yourself a favor and head over to Trader Joe's....
