Large store with lots of options. It seems that they like to confuse the consumers by rearranging the aisles every so often. Staff is friendly and willing to assist with all questions and product locations.

Blueberries at Wegmans: $5/pint. Blueberries at Food Lion: $5 for 2 pints. Wish Wegmans sometimes had blueberries on sale.Widest selection in Charlottesville with bakery, pizzeria, sandwich shop, cafe, pharmacy, and large wine section. Also have good selection of supplements and health products. Good prices on staples but somewhat higher prices than other area supermarkets on some produce, fresh bakery items, and pre-made meals. Would love it if they had more specials or sales on 2go meals or pre-made dinners.

This store is a must see every time I visit this area. The produce is unbeatable with variety and freshness. The bakery section has inspired choices, unavailable anywhere else. The meat department created appetizer trays with meat slices shaped like roses. Who else does that???General grocery prices are lower overall. I'd probably get a part time job here if there was one in my hometown just to experience it more often

Beware that this Wegmans can be a pain to get in and out of. I was in the area and stopped in for some Wegmans Virginia peanuts. I'm not sure what it is about them, but I love the taste. The staff is helpful and will proactively ask if you need help. I love the wide selection of gluten free items and some are also dairy and soy free. I was pleasantly surprised to find jackfruit! It was in a ready to eat package! Make sure to bring your reusable bags. There are plenty of cashiers as well as self checkouts.

I can't thank Kathy in your floral department more for her assistance in helping me plan as I did the flowers for our daughter's wedding. I knew I was taking on a big job and Kathy made sure to help me understand the volume of flowers I was ordering and make sure that it all arrived and had it ready for me to pick-up. She is AMAZING! It is because of people like her that make Wegmans my favorite place! THANK YOU!!!

I love shopping at Wegmans once or twice a month. While many items are too expensive for my budget, I do get sparkling water and seltzers, coffee and tea, kombucha and plant based items from them. Also they have a great selection of international foods and items I can't find elsewhere.

If you can eat it or drink it, most likely you can find it here. Great quality produce. Delicious meat, Yummy prepared dishes. A bakery with cookies, cannolies, pies, beautiful special-occasion cakes; Wines, craft beers from around the world. It's such a pleasure to shop here.

This grocery carries a large assortment of many difficult to find items. It has amazing sushi, a bakery, and a plant section. Wonderful place to pick up a quick prepared meal, and a dining area where you can sit and eat it.

Great grocery store. The meat, cheese, seafood, and prepared meals selections are great. They have a Greek bar in the grocery part of the store. The market cafe has a chicken wings bar, pizza, sushi, sandwiches, and cold bar sides such as asparagus and brussel sprouts salad. There is an organic cold bar as well. The market cafe also has two Coca-Cola freestyle machines. The two employees I asked for help were very helpful and polite. Definitely on the more pricier side for a grocery store. There is a restaurant and bar inside but it was not open at the time.

I visited here around noon this past Thursday.First, the selections are innumerable! From groceries to wines & greeting cards, you’ll find everything you need!Second, the staff are very friendly and helpful. I ask one where the gift cards were and they walked me right to them.Yes the prices might be more than Walmart but by shopping here, you’re getting a clean and friendly store with a great shopping experience.

I went to Wegmans for a sandwich, as I often do (their sandwiches are delicious)!! I recently discovered that they have wraps as well and chose to try one this evening! I was super excited as I had gotten the garlic lemon chicken and all of my favorite toppings and sauces! The sandwich maker heated my wrap although I asked him to heat only my meat and cheese and when he went to fold my wrap, he basically balled it up and turned the seam down so I wouldn’t see it!!!!!! It was sloppy and falling apart when I ate it! It was a mess! I highly recommend training your sandwich makers on how to properly fold a wrap, as it’s not a good look to offer wraps and your employees can’t properly fold them and part of the reasoning for getting a wrap is the convenience of eating it without making a mess!!!!

Review of the Wegman Market Cafe. We were hungry and the GPS showed that Burger King was a near option but when we got there they had closed due to Covid-19 and only had take out. The GPS suggested Wegman Pizza as the nearest option so we went there. The Market Cafe is part of the Wegman Grocery Store but they have a dedicated area for the Market Cafe and their own intrance. There are plenty of tables and seating. They have their own cashier. They Market Cafe was clean. I had a sandwich (same concept as Subway) and the others had pizza. Food tasted great. Service was fast.

Wegmans is it's own special wonderland. Being a newcomer to this family owned chain is a delight and adventure. Seriously. I avoided the first two weeks when the store opened, correctly figuring that I'd be overwhelmed with anything more than the store and employees in their own. Finally, around 10:00 pm one eve, I needed some groceries and Wegmans is open from 6:00 am to midnight every day! (thank you!)I walked out of the store just before midnight, with bags full of delights and a complete sense of bewilderment and joy. Mind you, when I get home, I realize I completely missed the produce section and about half of the isles that first trip.They do have store maps. And I'm not usually one to download specific store apps to my phone, but this one is a MUST. You can create shopping lists and it will let you know if the product is currently available in inventory, along with where it is in the store. Which is awesome. You can also add notes on items and access your purchase details to remember the things you might want to buy again, or not (that didn't seem totally likely but there's always something). You also get digital coupons on the app that automatically apply to your checkout when you scan your card which is nice. Plus they send you ones through postal mail if you wish and you get a free full size bottle of their garlic and herb basting oil which is really good!I have been back two other evenings so far and the produce section is great, and I'm still working my way through all the isles. 65,000 products is a lot to process. I do need to make a point of going when the hot food bars are open though. Every bit of prepared food I've tried has been delicious.I've been in Charlottesville for a long time and typically my grocery trips involve driving over to 29 to make the rounds at Costco, Trader Joe's, Kroger, and Whole Foods. Having lived on the east side of town, Food Lion and giant have been the only options and neither has ever done much in the East of standing out. There are all definitely a few items from each of those respective stores I will continue to get, but between the selection, the quality the prices, and the location... I don't think you can beat Wegmans. The cheeses, the wines, the meat department, the dessert case... Everything really. Omgoodness!It's truly a wonderful shopping experience.

Best grocery experience, hands down.Great store brand labeling 🏷 (gluten-free, lactose free, vegan, ect.)Good offerings, and organic, in their in-store coffee café.Their food bar, pizzas, wings, and subs are all phenomenal.Their family size packaging and pricing is the most affordable way to get groceries in the house for a family.

Had all the foods we needed to purchase plus The Pub which was an internal restaurant that had a good burger, fries, and a Reuben sandwich. It is crazy how much stuff this place has. Their hot bar, subs, and ready made sandwiches were very tempting.

Not being a native, but looking for a grocery store that specializes in having great produce, meat and a deli counter. I was very pleased with everything I found, to the point that I had to pull myself back to reality and stay focused on my shopping list.My biggest disappointment was that this store didn't have any bulk spices or smoked salts. And their soft goat cheese selection was very limited.Regardless I will enjoy visiting shopping here through the remaining duration of my time working here.

Excellent selection of products in the Asian department. The specialty mushrooms are great. There is a sign above the section that describes the various mushrooms. This store has fresh tortillas. Friendly staff and very helpful. The restrooms are very clean. Easy to find and plenty of parking.

Love their fresh produce second. Lots of choices and the fruit and vegetables seem fresh the majority of the time. With a nice amount of fresh cut fruits and vegetables. Also, their bakery section is amazing with some unique choices.

I love this store but this is the second time I’ve experienced the same cashier complaining about having to lift anything, (or even if I lift it for him)… “his back hurts and he wants to go on break”… not really what the customer wants to hear. Especially every time I get stuck in his line… next time I’ll just wait to check my own stuff out. I love the store though and have never experienced anyone else with a bad attitude in the store.
