My mother needed a shingles vaccine. She uses a walker and it’s sometimes hard for her to get around. After filling out the paperwork for her the pharmacist was nice and came out to my car to give her the vaccine. The staff there is so nice.

The pharmacy and the staff are great! The customer service is amazing, but the delivery guy is so rude! Anytime, I thank him for the delivery, he never responds. It seems that he hates the world! Otherwise I would give five starts. I think I will pick up my meds personally.

So happy I switched from CVS. Such a pleasant experience picking up meds now! Employees are so kind and friendly, always puts a smile on my face. Prescriptions are filled quickly, and it’s nice to receive a text message with the exact time the script was filled so I know for sure that it’s ready for pickup. I can’t speak highly enough of this wonderful group of people, and I’m grateful for this alternative local pharmacy.

This is the best pharmacy experience I have ever had! After years of thinking that I was "locked in" to having to use CVS due to my anthem insurance I found out that all I had to do was uncheck some boxes on the website (something to do with "mail order medication" that I wasn't able to use anyway) and let me tell you it's not an understatement when I say its LIFE CHANGING.FINALLY a pharmacy that just gets it right. The staff are so helpful, friendly, non judgmental and informative. My medication is correct (and prompt!), every time. If there does happen to be a mix-up, they take responsibility call the doctor and fix it (and don't blame me!).I cannot speak highly enough of the experience, it truly is "Top Notch". I've recommended to many friends who have made the switch and all agree its a huge life improvement. Plus, its great to support a local business!Hooray for Top Notch!!

What an extraordinary pharmacy! A compounding pharmacy, for one thing: they are able to make up specialized versions of your prescriptions. In my case, for example: they can make my medicines without the evil ingredient lactose. Absolutely personalized service; know your name; will do research on your medicines; will suggest OTC drugs identical to your prescribed drugs, but much less expensive! When they discover an outrageous price, they will do everything in their power to apply a coupon or a GoodRx card. Ignore every other pharmacy around. This is where you want to go.

Just about the only place in Charlottesville that compounds certain medications while you wait. They’re a family-run establishment and a local business and they deserve all of our support just for that in my opinion, and the treatment/customer service is far and away above what you’ll get at a CVS or Walgreens.

It is unbelievable how amazing this pharmacy is, no matter what your situation is very ill, need a vaccine AND ofc you need your medicine right away. It's like when a physician did home visits incredible family first foremost and you SUPPORT SMALL BUSSINESS at the same time. Especially with such excellence, OH and the little small gifts and anything you need, awesome!!!

They compounded a medication for my cat and when some of it evaporated (long story) and I needed more they made it for me the same day, prepared it in individual syringes so I wouldn't have the same problem again, AND had it delivered to my job because I wouldn't have gotten off in time to pick it up before they closed. NO CHARGE. The staff were friendly and nice. This pharmacy is amazing. If I could give them more than 5 stars i would. I HIGHLY recommend them.

Happy local patron of Top Notch Pharmacy! The staff is fantastic, there's almost never a line, and I love having a local pharmacy within walking distance. They'll even deliver your medication for free if you need it, and have carside service as well. Prices are comparable to CVS or any other mainstream pharmacy.

I love coming to Top Notch pharmacy! The staff makes you feel relaxed by being cheerful & very accommodating! They really are very well stocked & I have found the pricing of their pharmaceuticals to be very competitive! Leah Argie the owner & head pharmacist is very knowledgeable & runs the store as on old fashioned meeting place for friends & customers. They have a lot of really unique gift items as well!

My 70 year old mom has complex health issues and takes lots of medicine. It’s no easy task keeping it all straight with refills and interactions and working with the insurance company to get everything covered, but they do it all brilliantly and with genuine kindness. Top Notch Pharmacy is wonderful! They provide med's for dogs as well and when I was in a hurry to obtain pain medicine in liquid form for my dog (to sick to take a pill) they were able to fill it and they rushed it for me. I was so grateful! They were also so warm & friendly when I went by to pick it up. I highly recommend them!

I was blown away by the staff, the selections and the service. I met the proprietor and she was AMAZING! Like him or not, Christian Argie has done more for this community than every Dave Matthews band and worthless city council member combined. Unlike the other trust fund babies of this area, he’s extremely humble, modest and does his best to stay out of public sight. Truly a fascinating story, taking a stand against insider deals and big corporate interests in order to preserve a Cville institution of almost 75 years. I was a decades-long patron of the old pharmacy, but since I’ve been retired, my insurance strongly pushes the mail-order system. After months of crappy service, mistakes, and most recently an entire week with no mail, I’ve had enough and will either be paying extra or switching insurance companies’ altogether so I can use Top Notch. One visit was all it took to convince me-great service and friendly people. Leah is fantastic. This is what a pharmacy should be, by far the best around. Your other two options are retail chains and mail order, which are both terrible.

Best pharmacy in Charlottesville, hands down. This place is absolutely the best!I’ll never go to another major chain pharmacy again. It’s locally owned and small enough to be able to provide very fast, friendly, personalized and professional service...not like CVS, Walmart, Walgreens and all those other major chain pharmacies. The head pharmacist and other staff are great...super friendly and very knowledgeable. There’s also a ton of other neat stuff there, from health&wellness to cards, unique gifts, candles, fragrances and even gifts for young children.

So much better than the UVA pharmacy-If you are a UVA employee (or student)and are under the impression you can only use their pharmacy with your insurance, you're wrong. They take care of my Dad who has multiple prescription needs and is about as clueless as they come. A great replacement for the old Meadowbrook which sadly has come and gone. Keep up the good work and I hope they are able to keep up with the bigger competition in the area.

I'm so glad I no longer have to go to Harrisonburg to pick up my mom's specialty medication. We were once customers of Meadowbrook, and I am very thankful to the Argies for going out of their way to keep its legacy alive. The new store is also much larger and more open. It is the cleanest and most well-designed drugstore I've ever seen.

This place has the worst customer service. I went in to pick up a prescription that my dr called in (I didn't pick this place) and the woman at the check in counter didn't even acknowledge me after 10 min of standing right in front of her. I walked out without my prescription. I also happen to know they do not use a professional shredding service, which scares me with all the health records they have.
