They did a very good job on my dogs nails. the price was the best I have seen around here. the workers handled my dog very well. the workers were very nice to me and my dog. they did a very good job. When they gave her a haircut she looked so beautiful when they were done with the haircut. best groomer I have ever been to.

This is a great place for cat boarding. I had to travel for work and left my kitten with them for 11 days. It was the first time she was left alone since I adopted her, and I was initially nervous. They fed her the special kitten food I provided, gave her her favorite treats every day, and let me leave a shirt with my scent and her favorite toy with her. She was very happy when I picked her up and seemed completely stress-free. Everyone was very amicable and answered any questions I had. I will be using them again for cat boarding and recommend them.

We moved to the area a little over a month ago. Before the move I realized groomers in Cville were hard to find due to shortages. I called the Dogg House thinking the wait would be 6 months and I was delighted to find out we could get in only a few weeks after our move! This might not be the case for everyone. Maybe the timing was just right. I am so thankful we found a good groomer for our scottish terrier. The scottie cut is not easy and can be done poorly. Not at the Dogg House. Our guy came home looking the same as he always has. Thanks so much. Very nice staff as well.

When we moved here 5 yrs ago, I was really nervous about where to take my dog for boarding and grooming. The Dogghouse has been an absolute blessing! The entire place is extremely clean and well organized. Every staff member has always been beyond amazing. My dog absolutely loves it there whether he is staying for awhile or just going for a bath. This tells me that he is well taken care of and he feels loved and comfortable.

Spent a few days hiking at Shenandoah and my pup urgently needed a bath afterwards before heading home. Megan was very nice and was able to get a same day appointment for my dog! She was ready in a little over an hour, she was clean snd smelled great!

Just stopped by for the first time for some shank bones for my dog because I know they had them. Fks here are very friendly. Not a lot of pet supplies and merchandise they just started selling those types of things. I haven't boarded here.

I get my dog groomed here regularly, and they always recognize him and greet him. He's a pretty nervous pup, but he does very well with them. They are professional and reasonably priced. Would recommend.

My first visit to The Dogg House was my 2 puppies first extended stay away from home. I was thrilled when I returned to 2 happy, tired pups. Since my first visit 4 months ago I have used them multiple times. They were very accomodating numerous times with my requests being last minute. They handle everything, offer baths and one on one play time. They told me about other dogs that my puppies made friends with and I feel as though they genuinely love every pet that walks through their doors. They are decently priced and I have come to love the job they do when taking care of my "kids". THANKS DOGG HOUSE! You guys are amazing! :) You have made a life time customer.

As the owner of a lovely but very nervous pup, I’m really happy with this place! Megan did a great job on my dogs nail trim. Typically there’s a LOT of noise from my dog about it but she barely made a peep and she even let her use the grinder! Thank you guys. We’ll be back for the next one!

It was highly recommended by my neighbors and they were right. Had a great experience, they are following all possible CDC guidelines and my pup was happy, clean and taken care of. I also highly recommend it. Staff was friendly and proces were affordable. Will definitely go back.

We had a trip planned that didn’t include our pup. Fortunately, The Dogg House was available. Caring and professional staff, a clean facility, and plenty of excercise will have us return! I’d give six stars if it was an option.

Ive tried two other places but the Dogg House is my favorite. My dog stayed with them for one night when I couldn't get anyone else to watch him. They have the best price for the quality in Charlottesville. They offer a senior upgrade which is worth it for my nervous 12 y/o. And they even gave him a bath free of charge! My new go to for boarding :)

I have two 90+ pound dogs, who are my children, and can be quite a handful. I have used the Dogg House 3 or 4 times since my family and I moved to Charlottesville and I have never been happier, or more secure knowing that Britney and Boxer are being cared for. I was extremely nervous about moving to a new area and having to find a boarding facility that I could put my trust in, so much so that the first time I used The Dogg House I called daily to check in on them and I even received a call back on the day that they were closed. Upon one stay, I was considering paying extra for the daily walks, and the owner overheard and told me not to because they know my dogs so well, he knew that the staff would not be able to handle them properly on leashes and didn't want to risk anything happening. I promise you, I've experienced places before that would have charged me for the service and simply not performed it. Complete class act!

I've never boarded my 3 dogs and was a little nervous about it. However, the staff couldn't have been nicer and they accommodated us last minute. My dogs came back happy and clean!

Over time, owners have gotten greedy with dailey boarding prices. I mean their just dogs not humans. They charge one quarter price of a one day stay at a discent hotel. If you can afford it then go ahead and have your dog stay there. Me I'm boarding my dog at an other location and have money left over for an extra nights stay.

We've never left our Winston with strangers and we've rarely ever left him for more than a night or two. We had to travel out of state for our son's basic training graduation in Texas. We were worried about leaving him in a strange place with strange people for several nights. The Dogg House staff worked with us to plan play dates for him, and stay the day prior to leaving for TX, so that he could get to know the staff and the area. Needless to say we dropped a more relaxed morkie and picked up a happy, super excited Winston when we returned. We will be using The Dogg House again when we travel to Georgia to our other son's Basic Training graduation. Friendly and accommodating staff, thank you for caring for our only child that is still excited to see us when we get home. ;-)

We know that our dog is being taken care of while we are gone. We usually get our dog groomed while we are away and they do a great job. They have dog walks and playtime which we are thankful for. Our little dog has gone to The Dogg House for a while and will continue going. Thanks Dogg House

So, I have found out the hard way that short stays only (no more for my dogs) would be advisable or just not using them at all. After a few times of boarding my dogs for short weekend trips, I left my dogs there for 11 days while I went on vacation. Picked my otherwise very healthy dogs up and ended up in the Emergency Vet Clinic because one dog had a UTI......yes, UTI. When I contacted the owner of The Dogg House, Barton, he was defensive, uncaring, refused any responsibility, and get this, hung up on me. Nice professionalism! I will never ever take my dogs there again and the more "dog people" I meet in the community the more I hear that it's not the first time that they've heard of dogs acquiring UTI's in this facility. Be aware.

My dog is extremely timid and the staff have made her feel safe and loved when she boards. All I have to do is mention a couple of the staff's names and she wags her tail and heads toward the car. That is the best endorsement.

Our dog was traumatized by this place. They very obviously mistreated him and it took 2 vet appointments for antibiotics to heal him. Very bad place.
