The coffee was decent. I liked my cappuccino but didn’t love the cold brew. Regardless, the best part of this place is the ambiance and the seating options. It’s one of the only places in town with enough space for a large group or to get a little spot for yourself. A great place to post up for an hour or two. I also love how they give you real glassware if you’re staying in.

Very cute coffee shop with plenty of seating. It was definitely a busy Sunday morning when we went but it was worth the wait. I had an iced americano and it definitely was very bold! Everyone else had lattes and they all enjoyed them!

The family and I enjoyed are coffee, chai, and cookies at this coffee shop. We also enjoyed the ambience, the friendly staff, efficient service, easy parking, and the safe spacing of the chairs and seating. We appreciate the wide assortment of coffee choices, and I highly recommend this establishment to visitors of Charlottesville or the University of Virginia. We will definitely be visiting this establishment again.

This coffee shop in Charlottesville holds the top spot as my favorite. The ambiance during each of my visits has been consistently delightful. The staff members are exceptionally friendly and kind, adding to the overall positive experience. And, I must say, the quality of the coffee surpasses greatness.Parking: On each visit to this location, I encountered challenges in securing a parking spot.

Decent coffee - not the best in C’ville but not bad and it’s also relatively affordable. I got a cappuccino and an iced latte. Both were decent. It is a good place to stop in for the ambiance - lots of tables for working or doing schoolwork. Only problem is it’s very frequently crowded so it’s hard to find a parking space and/or a spot to stay while you’re there.

Last visit yesterday was absolutely not pleasant.I come every week to SJ to meet someone for a coffee.Up to yesterday I had a nice experience as the stuff was concerned. I understand they have a lot to do and I try to be a patient customer.I like their products and was until yesterday quite satisfied with this place.A part that it becomes very difficult to park. Let's say at 5pm almost impossible.But that's nobody's fault, the place is just popular.They seem to change the stuff very often.Yesterday ( March 7th ) was a bit of surprise as the girl who was making coffees (not the young girl that was taking orders ) was so rude and had quind of mistress attitude.She would call you to take your coffe like you were in school and did something wrong, with that look like "there it is you f.... cofe" .She was so not customer oriented, very loudly commenting, being bossy.At 6,45pm she also very loudly started "informing people who have classes etc " to get ready to leave as the place will be closing in 5 minutes ! She strt putting the chairs up and was very determinant to through everybody out at 7pm precisely.Which she did.This was such a different customer experience from the one the week before, where there was a man working there.someWho is this " new girl" and what is her problem ?

The Shenandoah Joe’s Location on Preston Avenue has the absolute best bistro team!Recently, one’s Mother accidentally left behind a phone case, and the staff handled the situation with perfection by keeping the item secured in the Manager’s Safe till pick-up.The atmosphere in this awesome bistro is cozy with effervescence smells of international coffees.It’s worth the stop.The Manager Ashley is a true professional.Keep up the awesome work!

I recently visited this cute coffee shop with a relaxed vibe. The atmosphere was inviting, and I appreciated the cozy ambiance. However, when it came to the Chai I ordered, it felt like a typical, no-frills experience, nothing to write home about.On the bright side, the pour-over coffee I tried was smooth and enjoyable. It had a decent quality, but I must admit, the taste was just a notch above what you'd find at a Starbucks. While I had a pleasant time here, I would hope for a bit more uniqueness in their chai offerings and a slightly more distinct coffee flavor to make it a standout destination.

Large coffee shop located on Preston Ave. Parking could be difficult, but we arrived early enough on a Saturday morning that it wasn't an issue. A variety of roasts, drinks, and pastries are offered. I went with the Smoky Mountain (dark roast) with a splash of cream and was not disappointed. In fact, I went back for a second cup.

The coffee is delicious, the atmosphere is really nice, and the people taking orders are really kind and helpful. I wish I could give them 5 stars but I’ve been here three times and twice now the lady making the drinks has been so unnecessarily rude. I thought maybe it was just me but then a friend happened to mention that the lady making the drinks at this location is known for being rude to people. So unfortunate. Overall, if you can look past that one lady, this is a great place to grab a cup of coffee with friends :)

It's cheaper than Starbucks, but slower than molasses. If you have 45 minutes to spare and extra $10 in your pocket, then by all means, stop here. If not, go to any other local coffee shop. 😀

Love this place ! High standing bar areas to work, good vibes, although open till 3pm, noisy ventilation/rattling and lack of air flow/fans, one of best coffee/tea places to work in Cville !

I came into the shop very indecisive and explained to the individual who took my order that I needed something that tasted good and could help me stay awake until midnight. I was meeting someone for a late movie, and my day had drained me of all energy. She asked a few more questions to gage my tastes and made a recommendation that sounded perfect. Drink was then promptly made by her coworker and presented with the little leaf/vine design ive seen in coffee ads. Found a very comphy seat in which I was able to peacefully enjoy my coffee. Great first experience, can't wait for the next.

i met a boy here, which i am glad about, but as i waited, the coffee shop was an interesting experience. there was no music, it was very quiet, not too many seats available. i felt uncomfortable, but the barista man put me at ease with his kind words. i was surely the dirtiest person there and it didn't seem like i fit in very well. the business card selection needs to be restocked- i got a 2020 census reminder card 3 years late. anyways it was a nice place, i got a sticker because i support the grind, but i will not be returning. thanks
